Title: Normal hashrate, but low ethereum generated
Post by: hamteivos on September 10, 2017, 12:53:32 AM
OK.
I am using RX570 to and claymore to mine ethereum.
It written my hashrate is 21mh/s.
But constantly i look at ethermine.org mining pool, i noticed that average per hour i only got around 0.000165 ethereum.

if x 24 hours, i should expect 0.00396 ethereum per day.
but from https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/eth?HashingPower=21&HashingUnit=MH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=200&CostPerkWh=0.15
it seems that i should expect 0.0048 per day.

I know that 0.0048 and 0.00396 probably not much diff. but if x 365 days it will be lot of diff.

Does anyone know why the eth is much more lower than expected?

Im think claymore charging you a total of 1% of your mined ethereum as a mining pool fee so theirs a reduction on your profit. That is what i think.
