I don't understand how you claim it to be decentralized temporary emails ;D You registered a domain, purchased hosting and installed a script which you control and you can do whatever you want with the domain, the site, the hosting and everything else. So where is the decentralization is coming from?

How does your service works? is it base on users session? if different users visits your site at the same time they will get different different emails or not?

And do you have logs all of this emails user's receive and the email of course? I bet this site will be useful to those people who doesn't want to give their personal emails to some unknown websites they're trying.

I do not keep a log of what everyone receives it auto-deletes every log every 25 min.

For your protection and mine Ive set a cron job to delete all log files every 25 minutes via " find /var/log/* -exec cp /dev/null {} \; " It does use a simple cookie for user sessions, so the emails are always unique.

It would be useful for places you wanted to try out. The TOS has more information.


  

I can't see any difference between your service and others like yopmail, apart from the fact that you are able to delete the email after a set period of time sort of like Wickr. However i don't think that should be called "decentralized".

You are still the one in charge of the site, therefore it is centralized. Users have to trust you to delete their emails.

If it was truly decentralized then we don't need to worry about you intercepting emails or not deleting it.

Theres plans in the works to integrate into blockchain, and I can understand your concerns. This is beta v0.1, and frankly no one says anyone has to use it. Just trying to help others not get spam on basic sites like forums etc. I know I will use it for sure glad I took the time to make it work to my privacy standard.

So if your worried/paranoid don't use it for any serious sh**, keep it basic.  ....Nuff said....
 

you have got really nice name and your site looks like clone of temp-mail.org but thats fine. I have used temp-mail before and it was really good service, what you have to do next is add few more domain names to use as email address. In no time many services might ban use of @bitcoinemail.org emails so adding new low cost domains on each week will be good step ahead.

I like the way that you have linked basically self-destructing messages with the convenience of anonymous temporary emails. Security is a huge concern when it comes to temporary emails as you often send confirmations emails there.

I would definitely try to make this process decentralized, because currently it isn't and it's really not fair to call it decentralized :P Decentralized =\= disposable.

The domain is pretty nice, though. Is there anything else other than donations in bitcoin that this project utilises bitcoin for?

Still doesn't make his service ""Decentralized"", It is actually quite the opposite. His site is not even open source, let alone "decentralized".

The same argument could be said for your "decentralized" "Social Network Service" you bought domain / you pay hosting / you own servers so please spare me the debate on that. Its just yet another "word" anyone using bitcoin services anywhere should treat it as such.

 Thanks mobnepal! Yes its a bought clone version of that at present that Ive re-coded php functions to be more transparent. Your right may have to add more domains. This is temporary as a awesome open-source develops further and faster that I truly see the site functioning with. Until then its something to use in the "mean time".

Plus the "domain name" is a really good one IMO .. so if someone really wants to build it better ... I will consider all HUGE BTC offers....lol

Yes I set the firewall blocked a lot of non us-ca-mx-uk countries IP's by default, I have just opened it up.

Why do we need a decentralized email service? if what you say is true then where is the software and the source? I think you are confused about the meaning of decentralization, when you could code a software that allows everyone to download and install then create their own temporary emails come here post about it.

The people will send donation to you, if they can use this service and getting the beneficial of it, the problem right now the website could not be accessed by me, you must fix this problem and gives us the benefits from your service, the users will be automaticly sending donation to you without be asked by you. So if you are seriously build your service should you listen the complaint about the problem on the website, good luck for your business and thank you.

I don´t think the service is working at the moment. Mails i am sending are now falling into the box. Also, the adress keep changing by every refresh. It would be nice if we could use the same address again. But anyway, i am still trying to find out more about the service.

Similarly here.at my first visit,your email sender didn't deliver email to my original id,tried many different email id's but never worked for me.
Can you maintain the script and remove errors so that we can test your service?
