Soon nxt will not be in General as far as I remember. Everything will be on the basis of ardor. After jiralda about nxt at all will forget. On their website I have a large pdf file where they compare nxt and ardor and describe how superior ardor nxt At the end of the year starts platform ARDOR. and flight to the moon.

Ardor will be the main chain and ignis (NXT 2.0) will be the first child chain of Ardor. If you have NXT you can participate still in the ignis ICO which will give you a discount on buying JLDRA token. 1 JLDRA = 1 Ignis. If you can't participate in the ICO than every NXT will convert into IGNIS in a ratio of 1 NXT = 0,5 Ignis. So to recap everything Ardor will be superior as it's part of the main chain and Ignis (NXT 2.0) will follow. I personally thing Ignis will be good for short term profit and ardor for long term profit.

Looks like quite a complicated item to look at,,, you have Ardor, and then a child chain NXT, and then with that you can get Ignis for JLDRA token? Why would you make so many layers? Anyway, look at crypto markets now. Such a huge gap from two weeks ago, not sure if further ICOs are going to be a wise move. I have to be patient and wait for this to pass.

NXT price may go up considerably in the coming weeks as we approach the IGNIS snapshot but will likely drop rapidly after that

ARDR is considered to have very high long-term potential

Ok,   but  economcally speaking  which  are the advantages  of these coins?  I can't see  any advantage  really...

if you believe that these coins can bring you an acceptable gain in an acceptable timeframe, then they are economically advantageous to you. if you believe that they can't, then they are not.
how esle do you mean?
