can anyone explain the WAVES coin details such as it's advantages and unique selling point

to get a solid foundation you should simply read their whitepaper. This is where everything is explained in great detail.

I also like to watch some youtube videos when i want to learn more about a certain ICO or platform.

I did not read their whitepaper but I believe wavess is a platform similar to Ethereum where people can easily do own ICOs over their platform.

But as I said, I am not sure and I would recommend to read their whitepaper.

Wavess is also one of the biggest projects as far as market cap is concerned...

wow thank you fir this link I have found really interesting and I have find also a lot of info about this project.
Probably I have this feeling, in these days we are just seeing new tokens, because these new altcoins (waves eth) have already set a new standard, a new state of art for this alt coins. This could be a good reason to invest in such project because in the long term will gain a unique position in a difficult market.

Waves haant quite taken off like people expected and has been leapfrogged by other shitty ICOs , probably will have a huge year in 2018 though

I feel like a lot of these ICOs are gonna turn out to be shit and the real players will make moves with Waves being one of them

as far as I know waves are one good altcoin besides bitcoin, and ethereum :),
let alone he has a positive value that is smart contract like ethereum

To be simple as hell. WAVES is mostly the same as Ethereum, they both offer the same thing.
The only thing that WAVES is newer and a little bit better ( faster transactions ).

well I mentioned it already when the season started that radiation doesn't work this way also with a core melt accident of this magnitude earth would be inhabitable for several decades if not for ever especial radiation comes not in waves as depicted when a core melt all the Materials that are in the cells of the core are exposed to the atmosphere where they layter fall down to earth (fall out) and not stay on the ground and form a wave and crawl on the ground like in the show also while they decay they create a lot of heat (decay heat) which has to go somewhere it is safe to say earth would be unsafe for the next 100 years if not more...

I have some waves. And few month ago I checked it and saw that there are some new altcoins inside.
How this coins appeared at my wallet?
What I need to do to increasy amount of this altocoins or just buy more waves?

Waves basically focused on 2 things fiat transfers on blockchain and crowdfunding on blockchain. Its end-user client is very lite weight, no need to download blockchains, you just install it from Chrome store.

given the upsides of the project, why has it not taken off yet? have there been setbacks etc in the development?

If the feature used waves better and safer than eth certainly dev ico will use platform waves and waves can rise in price, if only.

I love the way waves are moving right now. They are upgrading the project all the time. Smart Contracts is going on right now. Decentralized Exchange is currently getting attention from traders. They also have their own waveswallet.io. These are just indication that this is a great project.

I'm holding some waves for the longterm. Decentralized exchanges have a bright future and I have no doubt waves will do a x10 at some point, but it could take a while.

Waves is more then a coin. Do you know you can send USD or EUR to anyone in the world using Waves Blockchain?
This is awasome feature and few people know what waves can do.

This must be one of the most unique features of waves that I heard of. I want to try this very soon. Care to share how to be able to do this? This means that waves is now starting to function like a remittance center or site. I hope they have several local partners across the world for it to be more accessible.

This is absolutely true, I guess it is still not really understood. I am also hoping that the new GUI will make it easier for newbies to understand functionality. The handling of crypto currency is for normal people still too cryptic and this needs to be changed!

For a decentralized Market, I think there are still shortcomings like a very complicated withdraw and a quiet market. hopefully, the future waves can improve this and will fly like ETH.

To me, waves has no advantage over Ethereum by far. However, waves does have some edge over some other similar projects, which will keep it in the game for a long time.
