Title: raspberry pi and altcoins
Post by: vlom on September 11, 2017, 07:15:15 PM
hi

i need something new for my raspberry pi.

at the moment i am running a NXT lucky node and a storjshare.
i had no luck with the NXT lucky node in the last month and the storjshare is just strange. no traffic since the beginning.

does anybody know other possibilities to earn some coins while the raspis are running?

and no a dash masternode is not an option.... or as long as you did not send me 1000 dash.

I think I need to resurrect this thread as the title is appropriate. Can someone help out how can I mine altcoins using a raspberry pi? Maybe a website or any links pointing to instructions can be appreciated. Thank you.

Mining any coin with that rasp will never make any profit for you, but if you use it just for staking/minting like OP says it may be make some good profit to you, just pick some good PoS coin outhere and start staking, you can get from 1% to 100% a years.

Edit, just found this https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@andrebarn/list-of-pos-proof-of-stake-coins that article can be some good refference for both of you

it would be more profitable staking or running masternode. of course if you don't want to chase new coins all day)

There was an information, that Neblio will run POS mining on Rasberry PI. Try to search this thread for more answers - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2048414.0
