Title: Any ICOs that can be bought directly with BTC?
Post by: blamekarma on September 12, 2017, 09:54:14 AM
Hello, everyone!

I am looking for some diversifying investments and I wanted to look for upcoming ICOs that have a fixed price and that can be directly bought with BTC on exchanges or if there are other ways? I simply want to avoid the BTC>ETH switch every time.

Mostly ICO ongoing now has smart contract with Ethereum so we have to buy the token from ETH wallet like Myetherwallet but any other ICO can be purchased their coin buy BTC like BitConnect &  ATBCoin.

It looks like less and less ICOs are using bitcoin because of the prevelance of ethereum icos only accepting eth and other etc tokens.

You can try to visit the ico schedule and that will provide you all of the list about the upcoming ico. And you can try to choose which is better to be your portfolio but i suggest you to buy kick ico or bitclave.
Both of project has a good team.

investors are thinking that smart contracts is much safer than a direct btc investment but for sure OP you can find ico coins which also offer both investment,
good thing that you think about diversifying investment in order for you to generate more income and also a good back up plans.

Try to find ICOS that don't use smart contract, but one important thing you must remember, Ethereum smart contract exist to work just like an escrow, the investors will don't have the risk of getting scammed by the projects, even so, you'll still have the tokens they were promised but just the value will probably near to zero.
by the way, you can simply visit some website that provides information and lists about ICO.

Not all ico can be bought with bitcoin. Usually ico project team provide direction to receive payment from currencies like eth, btc, usd and others. Why don't you want to exchange  btc - eth for invest? And try some potentially high ico like airtoken, utrust, or minerva? Try you read the whitepaper and compare the three ico's. I think the three ico's worth to invest

And how do these ICOs with Smart Contracts and a fixed price even have the option to sell on exchanges with BTC directly? I am sorry for the silly questions and I want to understand how it works so I can know what to look out for.
