Title: [ANN] PluraPool - P2Pool - PPLNS - Multicoin [BTC][LTC][DGC][WDC][YAC][NVC]... Post by: plurapool on May 27, 2013, 07:49:23 AM plurapool.com is now online. About Currently I don’t have a front end, but it will be coming soon. The goal for plurapool.com is to have a centralized place for all of the different currencies being hosted by PluraPool. If this project will cover the cost of the hosted VM’s I will continue to grow this project, bring other altCoins online. If not, then this will have simply be an experience. Until I get the front end up, I will be posting all updates here. Please respond with your input or questions to help keep this going and make it better as it groes. I checked out PushPool and really like some of the features of it. But P2Pool seems a lot more stable, practical, and less resource intensive when trying to host multiple currencies. s01 and s02 are 2 separately hosted VM’s. If this all works out, I will put a third (s03) online for other altCoins. Servers are located in Atlanta, Georgia & Orlando, FL Payout and Fees Since PluraPool is runs on P2Pool, payouts are done by the PPLNS (Pay Per Last N Shares) method. Meni Rosenfeld posted a great explanation of PPLNS here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=39832 PluraPool will charge 1% across the board with no transaction fees. You can always check this by adding “fee” to the end of the URL in your browser; s01.plurapool.com:9332/fee If the pools become active enough to where i can cover my hosting fees, I will consider lowering the transaction fee to be a bit more competitive. Also, if a situation comes up where the fee is changed or a transaction fee is put in place, it will be posted. *****EDIT***** EST1643-05272013: Cleaned up "About" section EST1643-05272013: Changed FEE amount from 2% to 1% EST1643-05272013: Added FEE column to table EST1643-05272013: Changed Subject, Added DGC EST1850-05272013: Added DigitalCoin pool @ 1% EST0210-06172013: Added 3rd server EST0210-06172013: Balanced coins across 3 servers EST0210-06172013: Added Franko, Mincoin, Fastcoin, and Hypercoin EST0210-06172013: Updated fees EST0210-06172013: Updated all coins EST0210-06172013: Cleaned up p2pool's EST0210-06172013: Sorted/organized/changed worker ports EST0255-06172013: Added Realcoin to s03 EST0302-06172013: Note: Ignore the webpage layout. heres a good thread on understanding whats going on. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=153232.0 and another on PPLNS. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=39832.0 you were probably getting a bunch of orphans and DOA's, but it will clear up in a bit and the efforts you put in, will eventually be rewarded. after this i probably wont be around for another 8 hours or so. but feel free to try it out or ask more questions.
