So what it is difference between bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?

Bitcoin is a genuine item,
and Altcoin is a sub generation of the genuine item which is improved by developer/people.
in brief it's like this :
Bitcoin created for them to send their money around the world without restriction and anonymity.
and altcoin created based on the Bitcoin itself with new innovation and discovery from other developers.
for example we can see Ethereum,
it's created based on Bitcoin and then they made a new discovery in token system,gas system and else.
but the most important this is,no matter what is it,it will never replace the genuine.
as we can see a lot of people using an altcoin as a tool for them to get more Bitcoin,because it will never replace it no matter what.

Bitcoin was first. Genuine and revolutionary idea which became foundation stone for all others.
But is good to note most of altcoins has some improvements and additional features.

so only base cryptocurrencies  is bitcoin and others are only copy of it ? or there is other base source like bitcoin

cryptocurrency exist because of Bitcoin,
just like i said before,Bitcoin created for them whom want to send their money around the world without restriction and anonymity,
and altcoin using that as their floor/base for their project and development.
for example look at BowHead for example,
they created BowHead project for them who want to buy a medical instrument using cryptocurrency using BowHead Coin.
no matter what project is it,it will always following Bitcoin as their main source and mision.
but the difference is they made their own discovery and innovation for everything unlike Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is created in general,used as a online payment to send accross the world.
and altcoin used as a online payment for spesific purpose

Both do not have any difference because both of them are classified as a digital currency the differences can only be are the way how they were code. Its not a big thing though

If we look at the advantages of Bitcoin and Altcoin dude , We will see that Bitcoin is more competent than altcoin.

Bitcoin is a main currency! It was first. There are several main points about bitcoin
1. All other crytocurrencies are traded with bitcoin. That means if you want other cryptocurrency you need to buy bitcoin first.
2. At the moment bitcoin is the most adopted crypto coin. You can buy online and ofline with it. And each day more and more merchants become to use it
3. Bitcoin have the best infrastructure (wallets, exchanges, services etc.)
4. Bitcoin is the most secure with the biggest hashrate
5. Bitcoin have best developers

 

Bitcoin is the top most cryptocurrency in the crypto market, some of the cryptocurrencies are a clone of bitcoin. Now a days most of the merchant's are accepting bitcoin as a media of payment for products. Bitcoin has more hash rate than any other cryptocurrencies and most of the people mine alt currencies to purchase bitcoins.

Bitcoin is the father and all other cryptocurrencies are the childrens of bitcoin  8) 8) 8)

Bitcoin and Terracoin (TRC) differed only in the genesis block for a long time.

It's clearly not so simple.

Bitcoin is clearly the high level. And have and could change/d its technology. Bitcoin have 9 years of perfectly working.
Which alt could say the same?

Which the bitcoin, you have the king of this world. And the king accepts/ have a certain tolerance for someone.... Till...

For me bitcoin is used for transactions like paying and buying while the other cryptocurrencies are used only for trading to exchange for btc.

other cryptocurrencies just clone of bitcoin not have new technology , maybe ETH  is Tokens , i invest  to  ETH . it have bright future
