How about adding some pictures of your actual product?

Agreed, I believe the condition of the item in photos will help determine value.

How would one go about verifying that this is actually an authentic Panerai if not dealing in person? There are plenty of fakes floating around (including those with fake boxes and official looking paperwork). How do you intend on proving it's authenticity considering that the price being charged isn't a 'small' amount?

AT101ET, I agree further verification would be required for a serious buyer.  The pictures could be a starting point for the owner to show they have the item in their possession although it doesn't prove authenticity.

Exactly. That's one of the reasons I wouldn't personally buy a watch off an individual. Buying in store or online through an official dealership channel is best.
Unfortunately some of the fakes nowadays are very accurate and come with all the 'paperwork' with actual registered serial numbers.
