The law of supply and demand! Buy when the price is low and sell when the price is high. Indeed, it is the right time to buy. It's raining red in the market. It will give us a profit after a few days or weeks. Even Bitcoin is now cheaper. We will be surely gain more if we hodl our coins longer.

Do others offer a discount before christmas? Sorry don't know about it.

Hahahaha and thanks to china it was so obvious to predict panic selling would happen. I just bought back in and now bitcoin is pumping again. Hell yeah !! See sometimes things that being the value down can be very profitable. Bitcoin panic sellers are predictable.

Infact watching Bitcoin rise is a lot like how a casino graph sways around. (Before reaching the house edge average.)

I think this is really a great time to go shopping. Almost all altcoins are cheap and maybe a few months after bitcoin becomes stable again, altcoins will get pumped. This is a great time to make your portfolio all green. So, let all the money you have out and buy alts if you want to earn a lot of money. Early Christmas for everyone.

Are you sure this is the sale you want to be buying? Unfortunately, it looks to me like crypto trading veterans think the top is probably in, while retail investors are still in BTFD mode.

I'm not sure what to think yet. On one hand, I think a lot of trading veterans have PTSD from the 2014 bear market and are quickly latching onto those sentiments, especially given the context of the Chinese government "banning" stuff. On the other hand, I hate when retail seems so bullish heading into a crash... :-\

Selling their share all just because of China and JP Morgan's CEO announcement.
Its good if they were able to sell it to break even..
But what about those for ones who sold thinking that there will be a total cryptocurrency crash.
I am just hoping to have spare cash left in order to buy more coins..

While some reckons its good time to buy. Then whos selling them? Obviously, some also reckon its time to sell as they are able to pick them up at a cheaper price later.

In a bull marketing, you can jump in at anytime and you would make money. But in a bear market, there is no bottom line.

Not yet, save your panic buying on December for sure discounted and sale items will rain on the exact date. I just hope bitcoin value will continue to rise up on Christmas day because today as you can see the trend value of bitcoin and altcoins are falling down maybe this was due to China temporary banning the cryptocurrencies. This is bad for Christmas and the holiday season.

i have been going crazy with the recent dip. it is awesome how price can plunge so deep like this and you can buy a lot more of bitcoin and other shitcoins that will soon be pumped hard with bitcoin recovery. and that is going to be a lot of profit! ez pz.

Good you only buy crypto but there ate those who feel obligated to buy gifts for loved ones and don't have money to buy. Disgusting. Why can't Christmas just pass with out extravagant spending?

try googling "how many countries are in the world"
then try googling "legality of bitcoin in different countries"
then also look for "trading volume of bitcoin" and compare the different markets. like USD and JPY versus others.

and finally it is not a bad idea to educate yourself and try learning what a "decentralized peer to peer cash system" really means.

and in the end it doesn't hurt to look deep to see "WHAT" China really banned.

I think it's early to talk about real Christmas. In my opinion Cryptos will continue to dump more. I hope they will recover quickly after that.

Yep, it surely feels like Christmas has come early. Bitcoin is crashing and it is dragging other coins down with it. The hysteria and panic is nothing new though, we saw the same a few weeks back before Segwit.  this is a good time to buy guys, it might never be this cheap again surely.

If this is anything like the April 2013 or December 2013 tops, then the bounce will be monstrous. Unfortunately for the OP, he was clearly too early buying the dip. The fact that retail was so bullish so early into the dump makes me worry that we have established a long term top.

There is now massive resistance above. Given how dismal the on-balance-volume looks (suggesting that buyers are still waiting), I think we might bounce soon, but will make new lows over the next 72 hours. I plan to buy the next leg down. If I'm wrong, no biggie, got plenty of bags here! :P

all altcoins have big discounts, i suggest you start doing stock for altcoins and hold for a long period of time. I am sure you will get a big profit.  ;)

It is the affect of the nearing Christmas season and I think that the cryptocurrency market and also the stock market will get a lot cheaper and cheaper in the coming days. Because of the reason that Christmas is nearing everyday which a lot of holidays are in place and of course Christmas bonuses and 13th pay are coming it will create a pressure for this employees to sell what they have in order to have a good Christmas. It is proven every Christmas season you will see that assets are getting cheaper while other things are getting more expensive.

Yes. Here in the philippines, when september starts you can hear christmas songs in the shopping malls. We call it Ber months, september up to december is christmas in the Philippines. So, i am starting to save bitcoins this holiday season.

Yes bitcoin is helping us to earn more and buy all what we want so to fulfill our wishes, and when it comes Christmas then luckily we get our desired things on low prices. This is a good chance to buy all the wanted things for the whole year using bitcoins. And all the credit after Christmas goes to bitcoin which is making us able to be financially stable

I do not have much experience with this, but as you say then the Christmas  will be an opportunity for investors to earn a lot of money. So maybe they should save money and wait for Christmas.

Yeah buy them low. But make sure what you're buying aint gonna go down to the bottom. Some alts never goes back up when they start to dump, some others just stay at that price.
