This is the way I think but I'm not looking at $2,000 anymore, I'm certainly looking at $3,500 and that's not really a bad price at all. So there's a rally that is happening with the current price at $3,800 - $4,000 and if this going to happen continually, I really don't have a stand with it but there's one thing I think will happen, it will rise again. Title: Re: 2000 would still be a lot for 1 btc Post by: xuan87 on September 14, 2017, 12:21:16 AM For myself 2000$ is not too bad, but if it is dropping too low I afraid people will find another coin, because it had already reach 5000$ and if the price able to hit back 2000$ it's mean something is wrong with Bitcoin and the investors will lost the trust and interest
But I don't think Bitcoin could reach 2000$, the china banning had caused the price to fall down but a lot of people also looking for this opportunity to buy more, I think in this end of the month the price will be back to 4000$ Title: Re: 2000 would still be a lot for 1 btc Post by: bubblebit on September 14, 2017, 12:33:26 AM i want it to be 7000$ and more but maybe it grew too fast this year?i think we go back to 4500 tomorrow, but even at 2k it woulndt be that bad. I agree to this, it won't be necessary to go down on 2000$ to buy some and it would be unworthy to ask for that just to a purposed of buying some bitcoin to hold. It would not be a good sign if it goes at that range again. 3500$ is enough and only at 3000$ is acceptable for me. It is a worrying state when we go beyond below that. Title: Re: 2000 would still be a lot for 1 btc Post by: Caladonian on September 14, 2017, 01:30:09 AM I'm optimistic that even the price falls back to that value there's still a lots of bitcoin I'm sure that miner will still proceed and support will still be there things is just been played big holders and we should stand tall and still show our support maybe buying is a good chance to earn after.

Right now the price is $3,800 so it went down -$100. Don't use the word "worrying state" it is not just applicable when you are seeing the price to get lower, don't worry mate everything's seems to be fine. Its has a strong resistance at $3800 which is a good sign for all of us. I also saw articles that the Chinese is not totally shutting down their local exchanges so I consider the earlier news to be just FUD with malicious intent to pull back the price so that big entities can buy in at a cheap price. So if you are targeting to buy when the price goes to $2000, I seriously doubt that we can go down the low a price. Just remember that Japan and South Korea market are there as well and not only the Chinese are buying bitcoins. Do you have any solid basis for sustaining your thinking? i think we go back to 4500 tomorrow bitcoin will increase in price because it has a lot of potential but even at 2k it woulndt be that bad. for me $ 2000 will not be good Title: Re: 2000 would still be a lot for 1 btc Post by: 1Referee on September 14, 2017, 09:49:24 AM Compared to the days gone by when bitcoin was a lot cheaper 2000 is a lot. At one time you could spend thousands of bitcoin on a pizza. In the future, who knows? Back in the days I was deleting wallet files with 0.01BTC in it, because it was still 'dust' at that time, while now it's worth like $38, and $50 a week or so ago. It may even turn out in the future that I have been throwing away thousands of dollars worth of coins. Everything has changed significantly, but the main point is that this market by far hasn't reached its ultimate peak yet. I like to read back older threads where people were expecting a dump to happen at levels below $500, where then people got adviced to dump before it's too late. :D Imagine how things would be when there wasn't such a thing as Bitcoin - especially for people who didn't had that much wealth to begin with, Bitcoin is a major blessing. Quote why you think like that? Because it more than tripled in price this year from an already all time high price?Do you have any solid basis for sustaining your thinking? Quote bitcoin will increase in price because it has a lot of potential When does the price match the potential? It had potential at $300, now it is at $3800. It still has potential. What about at $38000? Or should it just go up because you want it to go up? Quote but even at 2k it woulndt be that bad. for me $ 2000 will not be good It'd be a massive profit for me. IF the price does fall back below $2k, it'll be a shame, but I won't feel bad for the shills who are pumping the price constantly because they bought high due to greed. Yes, it surely is a very good sign for us but currently the price went down at $3,778 but well this is still a good sign to all of us. There are some influential people in the world crypto currencies are trying to spread some kind of that news and sees if they are working out and contribute to the price of bitcoin. Hope it will not go on a quick falling. Title: Re: 2000 would still be a lot for 1 btc Post by: ROT13 on September 14, 2017, 10:17:09 AM Look at the all time charts. There's some possibility of this price range if it slowly bleeds out over months and months, but its not going to hit this price for anything but a flash crash before bouncing back up in the near future, if ever again. Simple supply and demand.
Title: Re: 2000 would still be a lot for 1 btc Post by: hatshepsut93 on September 14, 2017, 12:58:07 PM Bitcoin is a new disruptive tech, that has proven that it can deliver all its promises - decentralization, security, resistance to attacks, etc. After the release of Lightning Network there will be one less reason to not adopt it, so I would say, no price is too high. You may think that even $2,000 is a good growth comparing to the price 1 or 2 years ago, but by the time Bitcoin will reach mass adoption, the price will be growing at even faster rates. The current price drop happened because banksters and governments started getting scared, but they will not stop Bitcoin.
Title: Re: 2000 would still be a lot for 1 btc Post by: Celsiuss on September 14, 2017, 01:02:11 PM 2000$ is alot if you think back in the days where 1 BTC was under 100$. But it is not a lot if we compare it to what the price was last week.
Title: Re: 2000 would still be a lot for 1 btc Post by: asriloni on September 14, 2017, 01:05:54 PM you guys need to see the graph of bitcoin price and realise how the latest ATH were reached after a big dump and now it's going to repeat the same thing again.
I agree that 2000 still a lot for a bitcoin but don't you think that there's some sign maybe? even though it's just purely my speculation. Title: Re: 2000 would still be a lot for 1 btc Post by: iqlimasyadiqa on September 14, 2017, 01:17:37 PM you guys need to see the graph of bitcoin price and realise how the latest ATH were reached after a big dump and now it's going to repeat the same thing again. it may indeed happen. but we all bitcoin users certainly hope that bitcoin prices can be stable. this incident has greatly deteriorated the negative stigma by new users who know bitcoin. maybe they have bought bitcoin above 4500USD and when seen now then they will surely be in shock. they will definitely think bitcoin is a disadvantageous investment. we have to look deeper and I do not want to see anyone taking advantage of this condition, maybe the dumps are really very bad.I agree that 2000 still a lot for a bitcoin but don't you think that there's some sign maybe? even though it's just purely my speculation. Title: Re: 2000 would still be a lot for 1 btc Post by: coupable on September 14, 2017, 01:19:30 PM Nothing could stop Bitcoin and don't even imagine the turn back to under 1000$ price. Never forget that there is only 16m bitcoin in existence and not all of it in circulation. So as the demand growth by the widely adoption of bitcoin, 16m are not enough for a community based on world population. Miners can tell us how much it becomes difficult to reach rewards got two years ago (50/25/12.5) so it's barely difficult to announce a low price for a gold equivalent value.
Even after the Chine ICO ban, we can't expect that China (as a main player in this game) will ban mining or cryptocurrencies exchange or any other kind of adoption. I think bitcoin will never go down under 3000$ and it's worth more than 10k dollars for the next year 2018. Governments are not the only responsible of volatility and prices variation so China is just one puzzle part (may be the most influencer) but still play the game with others. Bitcoin can ad most likely will go under $2000. But that will not happen today or tomorrow, but till the end of the year or in next year. Years of fat Bitcoin cows 2016 and 2017 are the past. Seven years of famine ahead of us. Yes, Bitcoin did increase too fast this year and it may be unhealthy to increase more. We might see it increase but after several months, maybe before the year ends or so. 2000 USD is not bad, as you've said, and I completely agree with that. Even lower at around 1500 USD is also not that bad. It would be beneficial to some of us here, maybe to most of us since many wants to buy more BTC at a lower price.
