That's a good one though, I hope it will happen, in the span of 3 years many would be a millionaire if that price will really be the value of bitcoin in the year 2020. Bitcoin is somehow not good at this time it keeps on decreasing again but I know it will rise up again the next time. What I want to see right now is the bitcoin that has a price value of about $500 so that I can invest more in bitcoin then at that year on 2020 is gonna be so awesome.

Hmmmm... This is encouraging. 2020 is like 23years more. I see these cryptos going pass those marks. Bitcoin will sure pass the mark of 12k , then if ethereum and litecoin remains those way, it means they not really made much impact and value.

What a very nice thread with a picture to start despite of the massive down in the price of cryptocurrencies though, I believe in the future of Bitcoin also, especially the year of 2020 as a vision of an eye that is so clear. When bitcoin is going down most of the altcoins goes down too because the father is tired and need a rest but when he is ready to go and rise again, altcoins will rise too and this is a simple logic that can anyone sees when they look at the market cap of cryptocurrencies.

That's really interesting to see the price increase happening with time. By 2020 experiencing such a price increase is a true fact. Along with the growth of bitcoin, every other digital assets growing higher reaching bigger price makes it an realistic price to be achieved with more user base.

I think you need to look again at your market cap for ripple  :o it would dwarf the other 3 coins if the price and supply were correct!

It is really funny but what I find surprising is that you put OMG at fourth place, so to me this seem like a very clever way to let us know that you think OMG is going to be important in the future, because I think the top 3 are coins that many will think are in the right spot, even if I think LTC could be number 2 and ETH should be like in 9 spot or something.

There is no way BTC will hit 10k in three years. But then again, I could be wrong.

That kind of prediction in the year of 2020 is like a realistic pic even though it is edited through the inspect element but if you will base on the progress of bitcoin and the fundamentals of bitcoin then it is easy to reach to that price because we already see the huge pump in the price of bitcoin from a low price to a very high price and even though the price fall in the past few days but it still bounce back.

It's really quite possible to see this price by the year 2020, I mean as you all could notice Bitcoins price has been increasing year by year so there is really a big chance this prices will be made possible by then. I'll just keep holding on to my bitcoins and alternate coins until then.

You know, if usage for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies doesn't increase over reasonable demand I don't think that a speculative rally is going to keep on for years. A massive correction could hit the crypto economy at any time so hoping on such a price rise is not all that reasonable to me. There are many hurdles to overcome to reach adoption.

This figure is maybe possible and maybe not because at this moment bitcoins and altcoins are facing another threat and obstacles this time from China in which they ban both bitcoin and altcoins thru ICO and exchangers. Last week we saw how crypto currencies sudden huge movements. If just no obstacles will occur today until to year 2020 then i will believe that value of $12K is very much possible.

I also think that in 2020 the price of bitcoin will be in the range of 20,000 dollars and maybe even more. For 2 years it is able to grow much more even if there are price cuts.

It seems a little modest to me. Assuming segwit2x goes away and dies I think people will be a tad shocked at the ease it reaches those higher figures. As soon as more ignorance is cleared up, and it's being slowly extinguished day by day, there'll be wave after wave of newcomers. There won't be any more coins than usual for them.

The price of the bitcoin is getting high so if you have bitcoin and they are the strength to make more money for you it is good to hold your bitcoin at least till the price of the bitcoin will go to the top height such as till 2020 it will be more than double of your invested amount and you will get a lot of money selling your bitcoin so according to my thinking the bitcoin currency is going to rock till the year 2020.

I think no one can predict the future as we never know what will happen in the very next moment. If we believe in it, I think this will not be really bad progress for Bitcoin and that too in a time period of just 2 and half years. I think this thing should give all the investors a littlemore motivation to invest more money into it.

It would be very nice to see Bitcoin and Ethereum at that price.. I am very happy with my ethereum's right now. I bought 1 eth at $220 (on last thursday) and i know it will go to $1000 in a few years, and i am 100% sure that it is going to happen. I like Ethereum so much, it's technology is fascinating, i am in love with eth.

Fascinating picture and yes, I like optimist people. I see no reason for bitcoin to not reach that price level by 2020 if majority of the bitcoin investors are optimistic like you. We will have to face a lot of attacks and fake news from organized financial and banking sector like it recently happened from JPM. But you should not be discouraged by them.

I've checked the first page specifically for that but guess what , it took 100 posters to realize that at that price we will be exceeding the number of bitcoins we should have in the chain.

So, it's either one of those two:
a) bitcoin will become unlimited so goodbye 21 million coins
b) that's not the real bitcoin it's bitcoincash with 8gb blocks and 21 trillion coins.

Do not you think that the person who gave you the news is too fast if within 3 years the price of some coin can reach the price as you mentioned. I think this is too much to say now it's almost dipenghujung 2017 means it only takes 3 years to achieve such a value. we might as well have to think the reality of this is not possible because I know until now no one has predicted the value of some coins to such. even if this is true I think it may take a long time and this is a process that is not easy to have hard work from all users of crypto so that the value of some of these points can be increased as desired.

We have a little bit more than two years to reach the first day of that year, however the halving is not going to happen until the middle of the year and we need some months before the price goes up like what happened with the most recent halving.

Well the halving years are worth noting because they'd tend to increase our Bitcoin value astronomically just lto he it happened last year and we are seeing the effects this year.

I think these are honestly not far off, of what prices could be. There is a strong case to be made for these numbers, all joking aside.

I consider this prediction as very much true if we see the past record of Bitcoin like the way market price of Bitcoin is increasing tremendously with each passing day. I must say that this is a very prime time for all of us to buy as many Bitcoins as you can right now without waiting for anything else. If you will not buy, you will lose this opportunity.

It's quite possible though. My speculation is as the year progress the value of bitcoins goes along with it (directly proportional). As far as I know, bitcoin prices do spikes high on 1st quarter and 2nd quarter of the year while most down are currently seen on 3rd quarter and 4th quarter being the stable zone. I do hope it reaches that prices and it does sure give me hopes for the future of cryptocurrency.

The signs are everywhere and with the little current trend once we break out $4200, the upward trend might be a superb one. However, it is normal that this period of the year, there may be some little dips unless the rend just totally want to change from the ones we have seen in previous years. Sound like a dream. But imagine if a small PORTION of the total notional value of all derivative contracts ~$1.2 QUADRILLION (cause no one really knows the exact notional amount) flowed into bitcoin. Global debt stands at around $200 trillion, global equity markets around $80 trillion. Those amounts don't even include narrow money supply in the US of ~$3 trillion. The fed won't even publish M3 figures anymore. now add to this figure the narrow money supply of other nations around the world, more trillions.I was a hardcore gold bug before i found bitcoin, gold stands at around ~$8 trillion.
Add up all those trillions and another quadrillion worth of derivatives and some of these lofty valuations of bitcoin don't sound so far fetched. These figures don't even include transaction volume in these markets, just the market caps themselves! Personally, if bitcoin hits $100,000 i'd sell ten coins, keep my day job, ball out like a boss, and hodl the rest of my stash till i die.

You are right at the first pump the price of the bitcoin went so high but after some month the price of the bitcoin went down so I am not saying the price was at the 0 but it was low and the price is increasing since the last two months, it is very important to have bitcoin and to hold your bitcoin for the long time to make the profit and the get highest amount till the 2020.

Yes the halving is great for bitcoin price, since less and less coin are created this affects the supply side of the equation, so even if demand remains static now you have less bitcoin circulating and then as people compete to get them then the price goes up, and if you add a demand that is not static but that it keeps growing then the effects are even more marked.

When we are talking on halving thing then this would really affect bitcoins price as the years goes by because block reward would really lessen as more halvings would come.Supply would really decrease too and price would really always vary on the demand of the coins.Less supply+ High demand = More valuable. At the rate bitcoin is growing it is possible those number are low bitcoin is already at 94 billion so it only needs to go up in price about 300% its current price, while that is a lot, we are getting two forks and a halving in the middle of that process.

If this was true (which I am in no way believing, but say this was roughly the market in 2020), I would be more financially sound to invest in ETH and LTC than BTC. 'According to this' BTC will basically double, ETH will grow x5 and LTC x9.. and OMG x59, but obviously this post is from an OMG, so you know, I wouldn't bank on that :D

Litcoin at 500$ means 10x the price it is now, which also crazy, I believe that litecoin has no place to exist near bitcoin, because they basically offering the same thing.

Due to such an unexpected increment in the prices it is expected that the use of bitcoins would take up the market more in the next few decades. But I think somewhat differently. We all know that the bitcoin is actually decreasing in the totals and we are left with only the limited amount now no matter the rate is getting higher with the passage of time.

Indeed, that's a good pict but consider bitcoin price increases over 100% last year and over 600% in this year, we may predict bitcoin be able to reach $20,000 in 2020 obviously. But why just bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin and omnisego? People must be wondering about these coins ;D. Hopefully ethereum could reach over $1000 in 2020, but not sure about the rest. Bcash may has a good chance to reach over $5000 as well, only if people desperate waiting for bitcoin network and transactions stuck for days.

I am really looking forward for this fork to just come and go as the outcome would definitely determine where we are heading straight up to next. Yes, there are very chances for bitcoin that it become more costly than its present condition. Its demand is increasing along with its importance, people are investing their money in bitcoin and the number of investors is increasing day by day, due to all these reasons its price must rise in the future.

This is just a speculation. We never know this thing that what is going to happen in the coming days as future is very much unpredictable. The way bitcoin’s market price is increasing, it is very much possible that bitcoin is going to have this much market value by the end of 2020.

ok, it seems litecoin and OMG looks the most profitable ones. I`m not surprised if it is a true picture, after post on reddit or medium, where time traveller fairly accurate predicted bitcoin at a cost of 10 000$ by the end of 2017. The most sad thing if all bad things will happen, institutions will fall, bitcoiner`s elite will rule the world instead of bankers... Blockchain technology and decentralization should help people, but not to disrupt the fiber of society.

I don't see what you are getting at with OmiseGO. It isn't like it's pumping or anything, especially not like Bitcoin and Litecoin are. Not even close. I don't know why I said Litecoin... it isn't really pumping that much. More like BTC and ETH at the moment.
