Title: New Monero Wallet Help Post by: adamantasaurus on September 14, 2017, 04:59:35 AM So I downloaded the new monero GUI wallet 11.0.0 and I sent a little monero to it from bittrex I used the standard address (no payment ID). I sent it about 45 min ago and it is still not showing up in my wallet does anyone know if I did something wrong by entering the standard address only or what?

Here is the link (https://www.monero.how/tutorial-how-to-speed-up-initial-blockchain-sync) to official monero "wiki". Main thing is to download blockchain manually by this link https://downloads.getmonero.org/blockchain.raw. After this you have to import it to the wallet, this process depends on your OS - it's described at provided link. Soon after wallet finishes import process you have to sync the last blocks. And here is one more hint (https://knowbytecoin.blogspot.ca/2017/08/how-to-get-blazing-fast-blockchain-sync.html) to speed up it. There is one more method, even more easy. Is it normal for it to take this long I never had a wallet take more than 1 or 2 days..
