We'll need more info to give you a proper answer. There is also a search function, FYI. See this thread for an up-to-date list of exchanges for BTC/fiat trading: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2118380.0 There are some exchanges listed there that deal with altcoins as well, and I think the OP plans to add a section for altcoin exchanges.

If you want to trade futures (high leverage, Bitcoin-only collateral), then I would look into Bitmex. They have the best liquidity for futures contracts. I also use 1Broker to trade stocks/commodities with BTC collateral. PM me for a referral link. :P

I would highly recommend you Bittrex if you want a much safer and less issues kind of trading site. I was going to suggest Poloniex but I have read a lot of negative comments about this site although I was not able to encounter any problems with Poloniex but I am in favor of those negative comments though, seems like they are not following up any technical problems or maybe their support is just too low.

I chose bitfinex. I think bitfinex, poloniex and bittrex are the best exchangers, and I chose bitfinex because it doesn't have serious scam accusations, people here like it, and I like the look, and for me interesting thing was that you can draw lines on graphics, like some reminder.
Bitfinex have good alts for trading in my opinion  that is important when you choose trading site, make sure they have alts that you like. If you don't check that soon after you will look for another exchanger that support your desirable alt.

What kind of trading site are you talking about? Bitcoin to fiat or bitcoin to other altcoins? If you are asking for altcoins then I would recommend you Bittrex. It's fairly easy to use and has a lot of altcoins to choose from. I advise you to enable 2FA just in case someone hacks your account. I used Poloniex but I heard that some people have problem with payouts and downtime so I would not recommend it anymore. If you have any more questions feel free to ask them!
I agree with you that bittrex is one of the best exchange right now. poloniex is good but like what you are saying that current exchanges are experiencing some problems. so i chose bittrex as best. a choice that is also a priority for many people to trade. ranging from traders beginner to professional traders would be happy to access bittrex.

Many people here suggest poloniex, but in my opinion it is not that easy for a beginner to start trading, though the range of altcoins on the platform is really extensive.

...and I chose bitfinex because it doesn't have serious scam accusations...

There are many reasons why Bitfinex is a good exchange for trading, but this is not one of them. They have been dropped
by their banks, they are heavily involved in Tether (an entity that is viewed with much scepticism by many people in the
cryptocurrency world) and they got rid of their obligations to BFX token holders in a very opaque way. They didnīt outright
scam anyone as far as I know, but some things about Bitfinex are definitely suspicious.

On the other hand, they are the biggest exchange by volume and their trading engine works pretty well - even in times
of high volatility. This is obviously preferable to exchanges like Kraken that stop working as soon as trading volume picks
up due to high market activity.

I am still in favor of cex.io (https://cex.io/) despite all the feedback around it today. For me it's one of the easiest trading sites.
