Title: Mining through a VPN Post by: forkbomb on September 14, 2017, 08:03:03 AM Hey, I was wondering if mining using a VPN is useless or can be done. (not a VPS, i mean something like PIA, nordVPN,..)
Is it useful or not, in your opinion? Does it slow down your connection, or make any kind of problem with the mining process? I did this a while ago using NordVPN. Did not have to deal with rejected shares back then. Must have been lucky. Your mileage may vary. Just try it out and let us know. So far, I don't see the need to use a vpn only for mining purposes either, but I'll try this out just for curiosity. When I have some consistent results I'll share. |
