Title: ICOs - higher investment per ICO or more ICOs with less invested?
Post by: Custard81 on September 14, 2017, 09:03:04 AM
Would you rather:

A.  Invest 100 ETH in two ICOs you really like the look of?

or

B.  Invest 100 ETH across 10 ICOs you have researched and think are good?

It depends on ICOs and how much you believe in them. If you find an ICO which seems really promising and profitable and you really believe it, why not invest huge amount of money in that?

investing means taking a risk, when it comes to ICO you should do you own homework, but this what i do:
Check out the team or developer each one of them if they are real
Check out the developers background, is they have a project before or not
Check out the Road map of the project
look at how the project resolve existing problem
and read thier White paper

it you done about it, and find that the ICO are promising in your own perspective then why invest a huge amount of money on it.
Lastly investing in different ICO is one good strategy. Try it out so you will see the answer. GOOD LUCK!

you can maybe try to look at the White paper of the ICO you are scouting of so you will know more about the project, next make a background check about their developer of the coin, how the project solve the problem these are one way to see the reliability of the ICO, next I check also the company it self that hold the ICO, this will help you to see how strong the company and the ongoing or upcoming ICO. If its promising to you then you may go all out you eth or money on it but if you have a doubt try to find other ICO, but it is best way to invest in different ICO as it will give you a lot of profit unlike investing in just one ICO......

It all depends on the ICOs am I looking at. Personally, I prefer to have a diversified portfolio so I would prefer investing 100 ETH across 10 good ICOs over 2 ICOs. Putting money into 2 ICOs over 10 give that all the 12 are decent ICOs is almost relateable to putting all the eggs in one basket although the number is 2 here and I would find it ideal to keep my investments diverged.
