How do you think about that?
Is it worth to invest?

I found out about their ICO a few hours ago. I can't find an official ICO thread. It seems that they don't have one. Well, I'm not sure about this one, I mean 50000000 EUR for p2p platform, stock and a bank account??? isn't it too much? Nothing about cards or mobile apps...

They didn't make any ANN threads but thanks for this one though.Cryptopay is launching an ICO that's quiet surprising but this project would only be good for those who aren't afraid to show themselves into the world.  ;D Centralized things already which I have seen on their past service regarding on their cards it does really give a good real world usage specially on bitcoin holders. I would like to see on their pre-sale if it would be sold out for how many days then interest of people is really on here and worth to invest too.

Cryptopay is well established project, I don't see the point that they want to have additional funds to support their business while they are already operating and they are already success. Being centralized is a shit in crypto.

I also got an email from them regarding this ICO and I am yet to go through all of the ICO information but I personally like cryptopay and using their plastic card for months without big issues. They are now also planning to replace our old wave crest card with new one for free which is just awesome marketing strategy they have in place.

I might invest some bitcoin in this one but development of platform after ICO like they claim seems quite hard and time consuming one. Also ongoing uncertainty about legality of ICO in china might add some legal hurdle for them too.

Seconded.I dont know whats the reason why they do decide to have crowdfunding seeing that they are already successful into their service and I agree being centralized is really a shit on crypto.I do have still some second thoughts on this one and maybe interest would be lessen specially to those people who do really like anonymity but well we wont know actually what would happen on their ICO launching if people would still stick to this one or jumped out on another service.

Maybe they are trying to get more users not just funding. Ok they will try ICO but we all know how ICO can be bad investment. Im not saying that they will be bad but yet again why so sudden trying to go on ICO.

If they do only get more users then why not using marketing ways on exposing their website or service? They did really decide to make an ICO for some expansion on their service but I don't think that this would get some attention to its previous users even on potential people would use the service. Not all ICO can be a bad investment. There would really be always a 50-50 chance if it would succeed or fail.

I think they are still in development and need more trials and project testing. Its good that you give feedback  and hope they consider this as a customer inputs and signals that they would improve the services.

Hello!

Please contact us using the live-chat on the website or write to suppor@cryptopay.me - that is the best way for us to find out what is wrong with your card order.
Keep in mind, that we are still finalizing the setting of the new card program (we have switched from VISA to MasterCard) and that is why, for example, USD and GBP virtual cards cannot be issued.
We are doing our best to set the new card program as soon as possible, but this is a serious process, so we can't put its speed before its quality.

You are right, we consider out ICO not only a fundraising event but also a great marketing opportunity. We hope to get more users who share our goals and views and with whom we can reach the ambitious milestones faster. As claimed in the whitepaper, depending on the amount raised, we will decide what products we are going to develop - a financial services platform, a banking institution in the EEA or a P2P platform.
We consider being centralized a good way to build a convenient all-in-one solution that the community really needs at the moment. We are talking about a centralization that has nothing to do with the monopoly but something that allows everyone to get the most out of blockchain. Anonymity in the bitcoin world is now not what it once used to be, and in this changed reality we plan to create a unique one of a kind service and we need your support in this difficult and time-consuming task.

Some of the questions from the forum could / should be converted into FAQ :)

You have the best customer support ever.

You are able to scale 10x.

Example - I uploaded my verification documents - proof of address was not right. I didn't have to reupload the passport - it remained in place...

Great customer service and robust computer system.

Really take my attention, it's a big company, right? And they trying to collect more money, as they said; taking the business to the next level requires more capital to scale our impact. ICO is a cost effective mechanism for raising funds and provides an opportunity to engage with the community and build products in consultation with token holders and experts.
in order to advertise their services imo. One of project that will be successful I guess, 62,73 ETH raised so far.

Other Bitcoin debit cards are stopping service outside of Europe from mid-October.

Is CryptoPay affected by the same new regulations? If not, how did they get around them?

Is that why the limits are lower than other crypto debit cards?

Good day everyone!

I bought CPAY tokens during the sale. And I haven't really received any update in my e-mail on the developments of the three new products. I also don't see any updates for the month of November on their Facebook page.

Does anybody know where I can read live reports from the Cryptopay team?

Many thanks!

I also participated on the ICO. You should be seeing some information if you login to your Cryptopay account.

This is what I'm seeing on mine:

Token sale has ended
We need some time to finalise all calculations, and to distribute tokens to all ICO participants.
Still have questions? Take a look at our whitepaper and FAQ.

Yes, I do frequent their page. Although I don't really see anything new, no dates whatsoever, which is why I was wondering if there was anywhere else I could get live feed from the team.

I hope to hear from them soon on their social media accounts.

Btw anyone looking to move their tokens from CryptoPay to their own wallet (e.g trezor) use the following credentials to add the custom token

Contract address: 0x0Ebb614204E47c09B6C3FeB9AAeCad8EE060E23E
Symbol: CPAY
Decimals: 0

Not sure if this is obvious to most but it took me a few minutes to work out
