Post by: Pidgeon on September 14, 2017, 01:18:47 PM
It was no FUD seemingly
China BTC is closing down and bitkan is also suspending trades.

Bye bye to chinese investors. Bye bye to communist China.
Let's build a world without Chinese fakes.

What about bitkan.com/event taking place 9/20 with Roger and Jihan and McAfee?
Never thought they would do that, shooting down one of their most promising industries.

Will unprofitable mining equipment get shut down now? The really huge mines are in china, matter of fact.

As I know chinese are the reason why bitcoin price is rising. Banning bitcoin in china greatly affects bitcoin price also making the community worried since there are no chinese investors. I think bitcoin is a threat in their currency that is why. But it is still not a deep reason to ban it.

When the pressure falls, and when investors understand that no government is involved in about Bitcoin, the shining days will back.

Surely this can all affect all of cryptocurrency but at the end of the day Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency can all survive without China. We just have to look at the many big companies not having any presence or revenues coming from China like Google and Facebook. In fact, the whole of cryptocurrency can be much better if we all kick these Chinese out of the platform...not I hate Chinese but because there government is causing much pain to Bitcoin.

No it's not. All countries play a role.
Bitcoin is a threat to all centralized government currencies.

We'll still have to wait for an official statement from Chinese exchanges but I think this closure isn't a coincidence.

Well, let us just be thankful that it didn't occur in our country. I guess they sense something wrong in there or maybe it way out of their Chinese tradition.

Any proof for "Bitcoin trading ban"? Any reliable source? Or just another unreflected bullshit thread?

This is very good news for bitcoin, we will be able to further calculate its response to stress and its bounce back capacity it will  just show you cant push back a tsunami with hand gestures.

No. They are not dumb to do such thing. Closing it down on those things will really be a loss to them and they do really hold up the largest mines and they wont close such thing because they earning decent piles of bucks on this alone.
If they did ban exchanges then I do believe it would be just temporary and later on they will re-enable it again. haha. As I have read they will shut down exchanges on Aug 30.I don't know if its true or not because I don't really care at all on this kind of News.

First there where insiders anonymous statements.
Yesterday Charlie Lee said he has also insider info confirming it.

Bitcoin poses more threat to the US dollar than to other fiat currencies as the US dollar is more commonly used in the world. The main reason why China is banning Bitcoin exchanges is to protect its people from losing their money on some shabby ICOs, but banning the exchanges is overkilled and totally unnecessary.

While other countries are attempting to get into the Bitcoin mining business, Chinese government is depressing it.  Bitcoin mining brings good business to the Chinese community (in hardware sales and mining profit), but with the Bticoin exchanges banned, the business opportunity is depleted.

Hopefully, the ban will be temporary and short.  They did ban Bitcoin once (for 4 months?).  When the ban is over, the price will recover again.  From the historic record, Bitcoin is strong and can withstand all these obstractions.

I am wonderinig if it is just one exchange banned or there will be more.

It is likely you guys are a bit mentally challenged. Shutting down an exchange is no "BTC Ban". Especially not when "insiders" say it.

China wants to ban bitcoin in its country by hook n crook because they know that all the physical currencies will be vanished from the world if bitcoins take over the world.

Bitcoin has introduced a decentralized economic system which is challenging for the world’s strongest economic system and is a threat to them. But this will not affect bitcoin at all. Although fluctuations may also occur in prices bitcoins due to banning.

China didn't ban bitcoin. As far as I know, they ban ICOs and I am not sure if they also ban exchanger sites.

I'm sure that China can clearly see the value of decentralized currencies. I believe they just banned ico's and are talking with some exchanges to protect their citizens from fraud. Right now they're probably trying to figure out how to benefit the most from crypto.

That is right. I have read news about creation of FUDs all around the international market. Things are same as they were, it is just a buzz created so that new comers and other traders would sell in panic, and the whales can easily buy more. They are fake news, as reported by China media. Still hope for best and better time for bitcoins is coming.

And we can say thanks to China, because thanks to this the price of bitcoin has grown. And besides, I quietly rejoice that this has not happened in my country yet. But it's a pity for the Chinese who can also like us to make money in the bitcoin and build their future in the crypto currency market, but they were banned ... I hope that the Chinese government will change its decision.

If China is still in the market, the price would have gone even higher.  Now that there is rumor about China might disban crytpos, the price shoot up.

China banned the bitcoin business. This is a big loss of bitcoin. China has the largest population in the world. So the number of Chinese investors is quite large. If China prohibits bitcoin, bitcoin will lose a large amount of investors. This may cause the bitcoin price to drop

Rumor is, China is going to "unban" bitcoin trading very soon..probably by the end of this month.

Maybe it was just a ploy of the chinese goverment so that the price of bitcoin will crash, and then the chinese govt will buy at a low price.

Could you provide the source from this rumor?  I know there are news saying that they might potentially unban it, but unban it by the end of the this month seems to be too quick - although it would be a very good thing.

I think China want Bitcoin to be traded "over the counter" (not officially) The manipulated price recently, and I think BTC was to big competitor to Yen so they downgraded and press exchange owners to close down. Let's wait and see only time will tell. This time bitcoin price is not affected and rising a little and thats a good sign we can stay on 5000$ price without China.

Even though the Bitcoin price does not seem to be depressed due to China's ban, I am sure its price would be much higher than today's price if without the ban.

Who cares what the chinese government does? They don't regulate bitcoin and no government ever will. Stop falling for the useless FUD and believe in bitcoin. Bitcoin has faced way bigger hurdles and has survived them all.
