Title: Can someone do a PriceCheck for my coin
Post by: adMw0w on September 14, 2017, 01:31:11 PM
Can someone do a PriceCheck for the : 2014 Casascius St. Petersburg Bowl Bitcoin

If pictures are needed, I can upload. I have never removed the coin from it's capsule or anything.
I am looking to sell this but not sure as to how much.

It would be nice to have some pictures to see in which condition your coin is   ;)

around $200-$400 dollars considering condition.
If it is in the original slab, I recommend removing it immediately and housing in a new air-tite....
The original slabs lend to tarnishing of the coin due to their composition.
thanks

I would think usd wise this is a good range unless it has been really poorly handled in which case might fetch under $200

Thanks for that - where could I purchase a new "slab" or "housing"? Is it a general thing that's available everywhere (Like gold/coin shops)?

I've seen pictures of these coins in the original slab, full of rust. I'd suggest you to do what he says :D

google for airtites and just buy one the right size for your coin.

I'd say anywhere between $150-300, depending on condition.   Have it graded through ANACS, it only costs about $20 and is well worth it.

You can follow this auction to get an idea about the level, keep in mind that MS67 is very good for this specific coin, not to many good ones out there.

I have seen these coins in particular really increase in value over the past 6 months or so (around the time that Bitcoin started making news headlines left and right).  I have seen them go as high as 600 USD.
