Title: those pesky bitcoin addresses Post by: flok on May 27, 2013, 10:05:36 PM Those bitcoin addresses are..., well they look like gibberish: 1LVyTtygdCnESJcQWE136nxKjNr6s4qB5f for example.
So I decided to invent a new way of transporting them: as audio! With http://www.vanheusden.com/baa/ (http://www.vanheusden.com/baa/) you can convert any bitcoin address to an audio-sample of (at least) 0,32 seconds! The website includes the software package (with included a document explaining how they are created) for creating those files and an example. Decoding the files is left as an excercise to the reader. Hint: doing an FFT should be enough. (yes it is a gimmick but maybe some decide it is not or maybe it inspires others to new better(?) things) Title: Re: those pesky bitcoin addresses Post by: flok on May 28, 2013, 04:43:40 PM Those bitcoin addresses are..., well they look like gibberish: 1LVyTtygdCnESJcQWE136nxKjNr6s4qB5f for example.
