Title: What to expect from Bitcoin Cash?
Post by: urp0k1911 on September 15, 2017, 06:51:19 PM
Hey, did anyone notice BCH volumes on Korean Bithumb (its about $300 mil as of time of this writing and rising)? Its gonna move Ripple soon and make it into top 3 on coinmarketcap if this continues. What are these guys are up to? Should we expect BCH rise due to Korean volumes?

BCH is a bullshit coin that doesn't bring anything new. It will just slowly die over several years.

I tend to agree, but that does not mean that there aren't money to be made short term trading this Bitcoin bastard. I mean last time I've seen such pump from Korea it went to almost 1k.

The future of BCH also depends on a possible second hardfork of Bitcoin in november and it depends on the success of Bitcoin uprades (Segwit, Lightning networks) and on its community and miners. At the moment, it seems to be solid and will probably establish as one of the first cryptocurrencies

I am seeing all bulls in bitcoin cash as I believe it will turn out to be profitable investment and coin. Anyways it doesn't much any purposes right now. They wanted to beat bitcoin and couldn't some nothing for short term in our sights.

I have high hopes for Bitcoin Cash. I think people are underestimating it. I would not be surprised to see it get closer to Bitcoin in value let's say in five years. It definetly has the potential.

I'm expecting it to die, honestly. No one seems to be using is, just some whales keeping up the price to profit. 30 tx in every block? This is shitcoin.

it concerns me that it doesn't bring anything new, only news and hypes, not real development, just purely based popularity, how the value will last

This is what i think , since it is a fork from bitcoin, from a miner mindset specially those who owns a large mining pool mainly in China, it is easier for them to switch between these two coins as they were they same algo, so mining cost of infrastructure is almost as close to zero. and beside it is also beneficial to mining pool operator to prevent from 51% DDos attack whenever they almost own the majorty of mining pool worlwide shares. Speaking of real world business application, Bitcoin Cash is inutile, there are no potential enterprise or merchant engagement for Bitcoin cash, it is mainly use for coin trading nothing more nothing less. So it is not widely adoptable to masses.

Well, upon its release there were at least two unique features: EDA (emergency difficulty adjustment, that saved it when difficulty skyrocketed and there were no blocks for 6 hours) and 8mb blocks. Also it keeps the signatures where they belong - in the block, as discribed in Bitcoin whitepaper. The thing that concerns me the most about BCH is that I know of no businesses that accept it.

these new Korean exchanges are like the old Chinese exchanges: with 0 fee and lots of fake volume. and all their volume for all coins are ridiculously high like this not just BCH!

it needs price to overcome Ripple not volume. and it has been falling so far as bitcoin started to rise back up again!

not really.
there will surely be another pump of BCH. nothing can stop that but it will not come this fast and it certainly won't be because of fake volumes of Koreans

I don't really see the potential there. Take a look at the number of BCH transactions and it's self-explanatory. Nobody is using it, no businesses are accepting it, and frankly speaking nobody except speculators doesn't give a shit about it. It is simly a speculative coin with no real use. And such coins usually don't have much potentail in the long run.

Isnt there are volume and price relationship? Especially if its a large buying vol?

Bitcoincash is forked from bitcoin, bitcoin cash is just like another alt. Like ETC to ETH. Bitcoincash got many support from chinese miner and chinese crypto community. As you know now..chinese goverment begin di ban trade to china base exchanger. So you know what to do with it untill the regulation from china goverment is out.

My expectation from bitcoin Cash is so high that I can't wait to see bitcoin Cash market value moving to $2,300 in the nearest future. It will just be like the case of bitcoin that was previously ignored by so many people, but now many of them are regretting for not buying bitcoin when the price was cheap as compared to what it is today.

Too risky if you Deal with Bitcoin cash.

Just Review some other altcoin. it may help you

such pump
You're a mindless parrot to use phrases like that.  You can tell you learned everything you know about money, finance, & trading from reading shit on bitcointalk. Do yourself a favor and expand your horizons.

Having said that, I agree BCC is a dud that will burn itself out pretty quickly.  I haven't even claimed mine since the fork, that's how little I care about it.  Maybe one day, if I'm wrong and it becomes the next hot thing I'll be a millionaire.

Well, I have never said I have years of experience in trading. I'm new here, and I have got involved in trading only a month ago. Weren't you like that at some point in time? However I have plenty of experience at other things, including analysis and am trying to apply it. Sometimes I am right and sometimes I'm wrong, just like everybody else. But you seem to have experience and have learned enough to tell that I have limited sources. I'm willing to learn too, so I would appreciate a decent advise on how I should expand my horizons. Thank you.

i think its fate depends on what happens in china. no one else is mining it. there's talk of all crypto trading being banned there including p2p, otc, and alt/alt along with attempts to block nodes that may cut miners off from the rest of the world.

if any of that is true then i can't see much of a future for it. i've still got most of mine but i should've dumped at the first pump. we've still got coinbase coins to come along with plenty of other exchanges.

I do not like BitcoinCash. I used to buy it but the price of BCH is quite erratic and this makes me do not trust it, it makes me uncomfortable with my money. So I sold it as soon as it went up and probably will not keep BCH in the near future. I always find that its existence does not really make sense except that it was born after the Bitcoin segwit ended.
