I do agree that it's a bit suspicious Zaih keeps bumping it over and over again. It's being continuous so far, and most posts have no value. Usually, when I check out replies to a gambling site, I see interesting things, however for PrimeDice.com it is a water cooler.

I reply to pretty much every gambling thread which is isn't sports book or something I don't enjoy. It's just most other threads get no replies. Also recently good friends with Stunna so I don't mind supporting them - There's no rules against that is it?

This is like the 3rd time I've been accused of this, but okayyyyyyy  ::)

Obvious alt account is obvious.

So, tell us, which website do you own ?

About Zaih:

After some research I believe that Stunna and Zaih know each other and *most likely* they're from the same place.

I'm from Australia. Stunna is American.

Sigh

Doog maintains a SatoshiDICE analysis thread (Yes it has more relevance/purpose than a lot of my replies, no doubt), does that make him a "shill"?

It means that he is interested in the stats and numbers behind SDICE, whereas you seem to be interested with accruing the most post count in that thread..

Usually I have gambling + lending + securities + service announcements with all the worthy posts being read, but once I noticed that the primedice constantly had new posts. When I actually went to read them, they were all junk.

To be fair, my posts are a lot more constructive than a lot of people on this forum. (Eg. OP)

But irregardless, I'm now just looking to boost post count and are no longer a shill? I'll take that.

If Stunna wanted to keep his topic bumped, I'm sure he'd just do some giveaway like heaps of other threads have done in the past (SatoshiCircle, Bitino etc.). That gets people constantly posting their addresses. He's kept his giveaways to another forum section though, so I believe he doesn't want that spam in their main topic? I don't know. I just feel bad that Stunna is getting unfairly accused due to me.

Thats a nice statement to say about yourself. Usually I'd counter argument that, but seeing your content, this is actually true  :P

I wouldn't be so sure of who it is. This forum is reputed for getting a lot of trolling going on. Some people lost money, of course some will end up looking for suspicious things.

If we wanted to accuse you of anything, we'd do it openly. We haven't, but it did cross our minds. Nothing surprising and we're not the only ones, you made about half the posts on that thread! (I might be exaggerating there... maybe 1/3rd to 1/4th). You even often have two posts in a row!

But as someone pointed out (and even made a website example about how PrimeDice could make all rolls a loss if they wanted) and since some users lost money and you've been bumping the thread so much, expect to get a lot of these. Anything even remotely shady gets attacked.

If I were Stunna, I'd just freeze betting right now until the client seed becomes easily changeable. There's currently no way to do so without editing the page's source code. Until that's done/unless people know about this/do it manually, there is nothing provably fair about PrimeDice. Client seed is the same on each roll and thus PrimeDice knows the secret seed, the client seed, and can serve whichever server seed they want for the next roll. PrimeDice could choose the outcome for each roll unless the user knows about it and changes the secret on each roll. I don't think Stunna is abusing it, but that's serious enough to not just be a top priority of things to do. No betting should be allowed until that's resolved. (Would spare PrimeDice a lot of bad press. Will only get worse if betting is being allowed while situation isn't resolved. And you don't want to attract yourself some permanent trolls.)

Hey all,

to change your client seed please refer to this:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=208986.msg2195617#msg2195617

A new and easier method will be released in the coming 12 hours (Just waiting on our developer), the above is a temporary solution.

EDIT: Feature was added

With regards to the bumping, a lot of it is simply as stated above "watercooler" chat. If I wanted to permanently keep it bumped, we could easily post a giveaway but I'd prefer to keep giveaways separate from the main thread. Also, I don't find it fair that people keep attacking Zaih. Zaih is in no way an "insider" but has been completely invaluable with his constant suggestions/feedback and we appreciate his relentless support greatly. I am happy to call him and many other supporters a friend.

I'm not interested in pointing fingers, I feel that our critics have brought up very valid points and we are actively addressing them. As always if anyone has any questions or feedback don't hesitate to send me a PM.

Best Regards,

Stunna

I don't think Stunna is abusing it, but that's serious enough to not just be a top priority of things to do.

I posted ~2800 random rolls, all with the same client seed ("0"), and the outcome was just below (as in ~49.9x%) 50% win ratio. A sample I did before that gave a 52% win ratio (both with "roll higher than 50.50"). So it does not seem as they are exploiting it, as is possible ( http://v20.nl/primedice )

when you're being accused of sockpuppeting/ being a sockpuppet it just means you're popular.

edit: or is Ziah just another 1 of my sockpuppets in my grand forum opera ?

*mwah ha ha, MWAH HA HA HA HA HA HA*.

Of course the sensible way to implement this would be to only exploit this when the bet is a serious amount. In other words, be fair to everyone that bets just some tiny amount.

What I hadn't noticed when I made that post is that showing the 'client seed' input hides the bet button.  So you have to hide the client seed again before you can bet.
