This is an increase of 4288.33% since the start of 2017. This didn't happen overnight as a pump. This has been a healthy climb over the last 9+ months. The marketcap is still extremely low leaving a lot more room to grow and still a huge opportunity for new investors. This coin has an active dev, working wallets, exchanges, a growing community, very low supply, very low inflation, mining support, and fast transactions. This is an established coin with a blockchain over 3 years old. It is still extremely undervalued.

What's the big deal about this all coins have already started from zero even if it was bitcoin so what's wrong if tgis so called 'acoin' got such a increase. You heading is also misleading many would assume it's the price if you see market cap then like this some coins have got 10000% increase this year.
The coin does look solid and good for long term enter now and exit at 1$

Not all coins start from $0. In fact, most coins these days never start at $0 as they're raising money before hand with things like ICO's. The marketcap is a very important factor when comparing coins. The price is not a good way to determine if one coin is more successful over the other.

Either way, it's definitely a solid long term investment if you have patience. Things are starting to move a little faster now with the Slack channel.

24 hour volume - $1100. that makes any price movement basically irrelevant. anyone could move the price anywhere they want with one market move.

That is correct, the volume is low right now, but that's normal for a coin with a marketcap this low. You're not going to see $100,000's of daily volume when the total marketcap is only $150k.

By the time the coin sustains daily volume that makes you comfortable, the price will be a whole lot higher.

nope. it means whatever stellar yearly rises are being touted as miraculous can be swatted flat in a fraction of second and stay swatted.

No necessarily... ACOIN has no premine or ICO. Even the large marketcap coins that did have those pose the same risks as the whales from the ICO's or the Dev's from the Premine would do the same thing.

Website Redesign - October 1st

There is already a new website design that’s ready to go. The hosting environment is being prepared and the site migration will take place soon. Once the site is Live we’ll ask the community to review and provide insight. There are no major changes beyond the design. The content and navigation is essentially the same. The goal was to get something more professional and presentable in place, and continue to develop and improve it from there.

Custom ACOIN block explorer - Mid October

The old explorer (https://www.blockexperts.com/acoin) is no longer running. We do have (http://www.zpool.ca/explorer/ACOIN) but it’s not ideal. Renewing the Block Experts explorer costs 0.1BTC which is roughly $427 at the time of writing. As everyone is well aware, ACOIN does not have a fund set aside for this. Thus, @milkandpie4u will be developing a custom explorer for ACOIN.

Launch need ANN thread - Mid November

As promised there will be a new ANN thread created as we do not have full control over the current one. This is much needed as much of the important information is no longer relevant or operational. This isn’t something that’s going to be rushed just to have it done. We would like to take time to put together all the information to correctly and professionally in a manner that’s also graphically appealing to the visitors of the thread.

None of these dates are set in stone. It’s entirely possible these are achieved well before the projected dates. We’ve chosen dates at the further end of the spectrum to ensure the likelihood of following through with promises. However, there’s always the possibility of needing more time if issues arise or circumstances change.

Come on. There are dozens coins that had same rise up:
viacoin, etherium, xrp... oh actually almost any coin have same rise up. It all due to ICO.

I'm not sure what this coin has to do with ICO's. Even with the rise aside, this coin has a active dev, active community, ongoing development, working wallets, exchanges, mining power, fast transactions, low supply, low inflation... yet there are countless coins with higher marketcaps that are fake, scam, or dead coins. This is an extremely undervalued coin.

Hashrate is almost as high as Ethereum Classic hashrate.

You are right. The marketcap is 39 BTC, a lot of people could be able to buy the entire existing supply and control it, if it was all for sale. But then again, everything has humble beginnings, BTC started from nothing too.

I have no idea what this coin is and what it brings to the table, but I think discrediting altcoin efforts because they are small is not appropriate. A lot of great alts like Byteball are deep down on the coinmarketcap list while total shitcoins are on the top10.. unfortunately. What I mean is, marketcap doesn't dictate the quality of a project in principle.

Appreciate your insight. The coin was no-premine and the blockchain is 3 years old. It would be pretty hard to gather up a large chunk of this coin even if you had the money as it's been very distributed. Hence the weak sell books.

Our goal right now is to just clean up the loose ends from over the years, shed some light on the coin, and continue to build around it and grow the community. Hopefully this effort leads to a positive impact on everyone involved.

The hashrate is definitely healthy. Especially compared to the coins around it, and their marketcaps.

Where is the block explorer and pools please ? There should be an Ann for this.

There is an ANN, but a new one is being worked on right now that will be posted in November as the current lead dev does not have control over the original ANN.
