Since yesterday, I already have two payments, but is has still not arrived to its destination. I had already received payments in this wallet address (but using the paymentID too). I started mining at bytecoin.uk in last few days and it's ok. My miner has 2 RX470s. Suddenly when I restarted miner yesterday, it couldn't connect to the pool anymore although few mins ago it ran smoothly. I tried to change port to 3333 but it's still the same. My username is pretty self-explanatory. I have literally started reading up about various altcoins yesterday. Bytecoin has caught my interest somewhat and am reading up more about it. However, my question is this: I have a spare laptop which is not used at all with the following config: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M330 @ 2.13GHz RAM 4 GB 64-bit OS Windows 10 Does it make any sense to mine Bytecoin with such a laptop? Or I should stick to simply buying them? How many BCN can I expect to mine in a day and what would be the expected hash rate (rough approx./ball park figure) with this setup? I am thinking of using xmrig with bytecoin.uk:7777 as the mining pool. Apologies if the question is too stupid or naive. It´s not good that coins get lost in the transaction process, it seems bytecoin´s blockchain still have nasty bugs; that will be a roadblock in adoption and popularity. 1. What impact will this change have on the coin earnings? Is there a relation between them or it's inconclusive? Is it high difficulty high coin reward? 2. My aggregate hash rate from 3 machines is ~400 h/s or about ~100 - 200 h/s per machine. Right now, the difficulty is varying from 1,000 to 20,000. Should I go with a lower difficulty (=high value?) for each machine? (i.e. 10,000 for each machine?) For your desktop wallet, download the whole blockchain file, use Auto Selection for sync and after that use "Reset Wallet" function for retrieve back your BCN, never use a remote node for do that. I tried to mine use android device and kinda like it. It didnt heat up the device and battery is not drained so fast. The stats showing 1H/S all the time, but I saw it 5H/S on the app, is it a bug? I tried with 2 devices and its still showing 1H/S. Anyway its a good app for mobile mining. I think something is not right with the PPSL payout rate in the last 36 hours. Using the same number of CPUs and same hash rates (2.1 KH/s), your pools is paying out 100 BCNs per 6.5 hrs to 7 hours.
