For me, I think the banks sucks because they tend to control everything, period!
The bitcoin is fast, secure, decentralized, gives total control and freedom to the people.
Perhaps, you had better experience with traditional banking system way better than bitcoins. ;D

Probably because there no hidden charges in bitcoin rather banks which is centralized, unlike bitcoin which is a digital currency controlled by algorithmic rhythm in a computer which is more secure and has no additional charges since there is no middleman in it. Also a convenient way of sending money.

for me it is not just black and white to choose one and deny the other. i can very well be right in the middle, the grey area where both of them are good and bad at the same time. there are times when you want a bank for your fiat and all the services they offer but also there are downsides to it.
and then there are times when you want the financial freedom that bitcoin gives you. the decentralization of bitcoin which also comes with great privacy is always a useful feature.

Control by government actually gives a better and stable economy unlike bitcoins which has huge rises and falls almost every week. Moreover its losing its so called swiftness due to hefty blocks. All these things really make it difficult to compete with the banking system.

Bank sucks, reason why - in my case, every time I do a transaction with them to send money to a certain location locally, they're offline more than 50% of the time and I have to wait for few hours to get them back online. Don't get me wrong, I supposed to use BTC but then the location I'm sending is still under a rock, like the internet is not even functioning properly. So I have to use a bank for that specific reason.

i have friend work at bank, in bank so many hidden charges and too many rules when we lost our card or our account book, and when we wanna open an account we have to fill so many thing.
but using bitcoin just make account and buy bitcoin and then you don't have to worry to lost your card. but not forget your seed. as long you remember it you will never lost you Bitcoin

the traditional banking system is very confusing, too many regulations are applied so that, can make its users become confusion, plus the system that sometimes makes us become takes a long time to be able to withdraw the money we have ,,

Bank's monthly charge is getting expensive everytime so let's compare if you're using bitcoin , cheap and fix rate of fee
But I'm not 100% giving my money on bitcoin since bitcoin still consider as risky investment and I'm trust bank more than bitcoin ? Yes

Some banks with conventional systems usually use a bank interest, monthly fees, and penalties. I don't like the bank with interest system (usury)-that's why I move to the sharia bank system.
Bitcoin is what I want, no usury (bank interest), no monthly fees, no penalties, everything is transparent, and makes a profit of course.

Yeah banks control everything on your money and have tax when you earn. Bitcoin is decentralized, secure and we have control on it. You can earn bitcoin without less tax. In bitcoin you can send and receive anywhere and anytime in the world.

Regardless of the fact that the fees are lower, It's decentralized and faster? I really don't like how the banking system works, how they enslave people and put them in debt, how they create money literally out of thin air and make inflation, the ability to close your account simply by changing 1/0's in their database and not to mention that they finance wars since hundreds of years now.

because banks have complicated systems and most of their services have additional fees. I find banks unreliable and you have to adjust to their schedules when you are going to move your money etc.

I trust bitcoin more than banks, bitcoin is much easier, safer and fast to transact with. i can't exactly remember when's the last to time i visit a banking institution. we don't need banks when we have bitcoins.

I am trust in bitcoins over the banks due to bitcoins is new digital currency, bitcoins is decentralized, transparant, deflation and i am full control on my money in bitcoins than saving money in the banks. The other reasons bitcoins can be currency and it can be new asset in the internet, the values will be more more expensive in the future and it can be traded on the exchangers that can gives passive income from trading due to i have real job.

I really agree with you that the bank is very annoying, especially many pieces of monthly administrative cuts, and saving deposits to fill accounts, I think bitcoin is the most comfortable of the bank, I think there is no bank as good as bitcoin.

I choose bitcoin because it is currency and i am trust in bitcoin because of it, i don't trust in the bank because they manage fiat money,  many people around the world who does not know the difference between currency and fiat money, we can check what's it on the internet and my points here i don't like the system of fiat money be manager by the bankirs, so the system of bitcoin is more better than fiat money.

I choose both. Each has its own benefits and is very necessary for us. Banks help to manage money better. Also bitcoin offers money.

i will compare the bitcoin to any bank .lets say that bank is the place or the things that you want save your money but we know that they collect interest from our savings when that year comes and comes the more interest will got on you thats how bank works and in bitcoin you only need to do just create online money to secure your bitcoin and no one can control you unlike banks do. you can used what you want you can get what you want and most of it they cant collect any interest on you.

Trusting on bitcoin is easy to get. Rather than over the banks it is too much awaiting to transacts all of your money to save.

Bitcoin is indeed beautiful monetary system. It is decentralized, anonymous, transparent, gives freedom to people to control their money etc etc. We all know that. But abandoning bank for Bitcoin would be a stupid move as for now. And I think most of the people here who are saying "Bank Sucks" definitely have accounts in bank and most probably would be linked to their Bitcoin wallet. You simply can't abandon banks as for now and shift to cryptos. That is the reality.

We all know that Bitcoin's future is still uncertain. Just like China, your country if took some drastic steps against cryptos, your investment will be gone in a day. Banks might be not very moral. But a country can't survive without them and so the citizens of that country.

Bitcoin and banks both are important.

I trust bitcoin over banks because bitcoin is decentralized. It is more convenient to use and it has more advanced technology. In banks, it is not that profitable, while if you use bitcoin, you can have profits everyday if it is getting higher every hour or every day. Bitcoin is more trustworthy than of banks.

Banks tend to be control freaks not without reason, they are heavily regulated by banking law.
I don't think that bitcoin will remain unregulated when we will follow the patch of going mainstream too.


It is no secret that bitcoin user experience tends to be pretty complicated and not always amazing. You see - bitcoin is not an idiot-friendly system, and frankly, most people are idiots.
Core example - if someone sends money to the wrong account - he can contact his bank and fix everything. With bitcoin, you don't have such luxury at all.

One thing i like about Bitcoin is that I hold my own coins.  This means I do not have to trust anyone to hold my money for me.  Aside from that Bitcoin have thousands of nodes to verify transaction and the network is secured by huge hashes.  The blockchain is public and I can see my own balance with it and I can send it anywhere in the world with minimal fee even if I have to send a huge amount.  I don't need to give out my personal detail everytime I moved my coins.  That is the reason why I trust and love bitcoins more.  

I prefer bitcoin because it is transparent, decentralized and free of charge monthly. I do not trust the bank, although I am a bank service user but I do not like the Bank policy.

Interests, tax  and transactions in banks really sucks. In Bitcoin, due to volatility we earn more profits and there is no tax, transactions are fast anytime and  anywhere in the world. Bitcoin is more safe than banks because it is decentralized far from spionage and is not prone to muggers. Less fortunate people like me can't afford banks because I am unemployed while in Bitcoin regardless of social status we can earn decent amount of Bitcoin without leaving our home.

I trust and prefer bitcoin over banks cause simply bitcoin is Peer-2-Peer. When making a transaction I font have to wait for long durations with bitcoin my transactions usually happen in under 30minutes. Also Banks have more fees than bitcoin.

Well for me,  banks is better in case of securing your money since they have rules and regulations for it. Bitcoin is better if you want to secure your money while making it grow but it there's a chance for it fail and make your money lesser and lose some. So its better to take bitcoin as investment and bank for security for money.

i trust bitcoin but i need bank to save my money. because i don't have any other place to save my money. and i have experience get hacked so i sometime cashout my coins because i afraid to lose it again, so i pick both and ya i need bank and bitcoin

I definitely trust Bitcoin over banks because no one holds my fund except me. Even the developers do not have any access to my coins.  Network is very secure and it is very hard to hack Bitcoin.  Aside from that the earnings from holding Bitcoin is way higher than the earnings  if we deposit our money to banks.  There is also a chance that a huge part of our money in banks would disappear once banks declares bankruptcy.  This does not happen in Bitcoin.

Actually, I trust bitcoin as investment and as time to time I am making a lot of profit from it, ofcourse I will love it more than before. But I still use the bank for my daily transaction, because bitcoin are still unknown at my place. But for investment, I thought banks interest are unfare. Its under 7% /year now, while we could reach a 100% peofit with bitcoin with just a month.

I am believe in bitcoin and digital currency than banks, because bitcoin is good place to store the value of currency, it will be rise up in the future, on bitcoin no need verification identity to store bitcoin but i must give everything when put the money on the banks, i must give everything into the banks all of my money, my access limited to take my money daily from the banks and the banks give me inflation because of put my money on there.

The hidden bank charges!  >:( I will take Bitcoin over the banks just for that. With bitcoin, I know the only thing I can contend with is just the transaction fee but with the banks I get charged for everything even the SMS that shows my account balance is charged for a fee.

Oh please. Banks dont suck, they are in fact the very institution thats making life very convenient for you. The real reason why we think BTC is better is because it can make us rich if the value goes up! Banks cant and wont do that for you.

I love Bitcoin because it is decentralized. Bitcoin’s system is a peer to peer payment system. There is no third party or central authority involved. Trades only occur between the users through automated process. Our funds are held by us in our personal wallets and not by a central authority so we do not have to worry.

I like the idea of being able to fly away on holiday and have a million pound (worth of crypto) in my pocket, no questions asked!


Although I still have to figure out how to get a million pounds worth of anything 😂

Bitcoin is decentralized, and fair. This is the exact opposite of what banks are doing, which is essentially the exact opposite.

Central banks around the world have the ability to create extra currency out of thin air without the consent of the citizens. Bitcoin is backed by hard code, and there is a limit on the amount of coins that can ever exist.

This is why i'd choose btc over fiat(issued by a central bank) any day of the week.

As of now bitcoin yields more. Asset stays in our hands. Don't have to pay taxes on interest earned.

I see people have trusted bitcoin more than banks these days. hahaha ;D
Imagine what will happen in the next 20 years, I think some of our kinds will know about the banks in the future.

I have mixed reactions to both based on my experiences but I do believe in the potential of Bitcoin.

Banks, especially the big corporate banks, are all about making money at the expense of the average person. They get legislation changed in their favor and get benefits like low rates for them to borrow from the government and government bailouts because they are "too big to fail." They also gave bad mortgages to customers and then foreclosed. Plus they charge high rates for credit cards.

Bitcoin is not a business and therefore doesn't get a profit. It is not directly tied to any government which is a big positive. There are two things that I don't like about Bitcoin though. One is that I lost money on Cryptsy when they failed and there is no way to go put Paul Vernon in jail because no government authorities will go after them. The other thing is the fees could get high and there is nothing we can do to limit that because we need the miners.

Well it's hard to answer and although I'm more inclined to bitcoin, I still can't imagine a life without banks. They do provide access to credit, which is quite important for most people, in order for them to be able to buy a house or a car. The problem is that banks already have failed the population in the past, and there were many scandals all around the world involving investments in banks, and a lot of people ended up losing their savings. On top of that, banks have way to much control because they are centralized, and that is never a good thing. Finally we pay way to much fees, because there aren't any real alternatives out there.

Bitcoins offer great possibilities, but I really think they must be regulated, because when we get scammed by a bank, we can go to courts, but right now, if we get scammed using bitcoins, it will be very hard to get our money back. I think I prefer bitcoin, but a lot of things need to evolve first. Of course is good to see banks getting afraid, they are finally getting some very powerful competition, and that is good for everyone.

Its not that i do not trust Bank over Bitcoin i still trust both maybe much more only on Bitcoin because it does not have hidden deduction and Bitcoin also increases the value or price more rapid than banks . But banks also has advantages and benefits that Bitcoin does not have. So lets compare that both of them they are both good in terms of their benefits to consumers and investors.

Because bitcoin brings revenue, and the further, the more. I have a very low confidence in the bank, because it's much easier to lose money there.

With bitcoin you can make a good profit not like banks where the profit margin is limited. Having a bitcoin wallet is like having your own bank you can do whatever you want with your money thus you are the only one responsible for what will happen to that money.
To resume, if you know what you are doing then invest in Bitcoin otherwise you have to rely on the banking system.

For now, I will rate both as important and trusting both because they both play a role in the cash reaching my hand or getting to execute the task I need to do with money and earnings too. But I trust bitcoin more to store my money, I only make use of the bank when I need to use cash in the physical to buy things. I believe soon, the role of the banks will reduced and scrapped out when bitcoin is globally accepted.

we can say that banks is sucks and other bad things but we still using the banks for our transaction in real life and we use bitcoin as new thing that could help us to make money in different ways. the banks have too many fee that maybe we don't like and maybe we are choose bitcoin as a new way to solve our problem and bitcoin have small fee than the banks. i think i trust bitcoin and the banks in the same time because we still need the banks to help us in our real life and we can use bitcoin to trying to earn money.

It's not the banks that is the issue.

It's the ability of the government to print more of the money.

When the government prints more money, they are acting no differently than when a criminal counterfeits more money.  Both of them are stealing wealth from you.

In actuality, the banks are easier to use.  You don't need to create offline wallets and worry about hackers or malware.

It cannot be said that banks suck and bitcoin is doing a better work. Both are doing their work well at their places. Bitcoin provides more opportunities and profit and transactions are faster, encrypted which makes many people think bitcoin is better than bank and banks suck. Now banks provide different  types of loans and many other facilities too so they still will have a good influence over the public. So both provide facilities which the other can't so both are doing good in their places.

I think that distinguish between bitcoin and bank is bitcoin registration process is much easier than bank, bitcoin transaction process can be done anytime and anywhere even around the world while the bank is not so, besides bitcoin also provide greater benefits than banks, that's the reason I trust and like bitcoin more than banks

Banks provides us with many facilities which Bitcoin does not provides such as saving accounts ,salary accounts ,home loans ,educational loans,debit and credit cards etc but their are some ways in which Banks are overshadowed by Bitcoin. Now days investing in Bitcoin has became more profitable than investing in Banks because Bitcoin price is rising at a very fast rate due to which we get huge profits in a short period of time . Bitcoin is decentralized in nature due to which government has no control over it so we need not to pay any tax on our transactions.Moreover we can keep an eye on our money and no other person can access it or steal it .But, according to me  it is just a matter of choice that depending on situation which one is more advantageous.

I think that it is not correct to compare bitcoin and commercial or state bank. You can oppose bitcoin to traditional money, not to banks. Banks, in addition to remittances, perform many more functions that bitcoin can not perform.

I already had a bad experience in using Banks so i think that is the reason why i trust Bitcoin over banks. Bank sent me a credit card that i did not avail, after a year i have to pay for the annual fee of that card though i didn't even use it even once. So i prefer saving using Bitcoin instead of those banks, saving in Bitcoin can also profit in a long term if the value of Bitcoin grow then your Bitcoin savings grow also.

Bank has a lot of charges. For every transactions you will do with them, expect that it is not for free. And their interest rate are burdensome too. But  they take all the responsibilities whenever there is a conflict with your account.
About bitcoin, yes you can do a lot of transactions with bitcoin and your personal information is safe. It is decentralized. But its price value is unpredictable. And too make the long discussion short, i prefer both, but my vote goes to bank.

Bank have many hidden charges and is centralize. While bitcoin is decentralized, and is a digital currency. Also it has bigger highs and falls but it became a positive to every user instead of being a negative part because it enable users to do trading.

As for the freedom to the people, you can buy drugs, weapons and nuclear bombs and the government wont even know that it is you and boom another blast in the London.

Its true, but we also have no choice but to deal with this bank's policy, they have the power to control it because we give them the power to control it, banking institutions play a big role in nations economy without these regulations nations monetary will collapse,
But the reason why people chose bitcoin because of its transparency and no one will disallow you to receive or to use it.

Everyone that knows and understand bitcoin should trust it over banks for the following reasons. These are the reasons I prefer bitcoin to banks;

1. No hidden charges: Unlike banks who sometimes make arbitrary deductions to your balance, such as SMS charges statements, COT and all such to the point that we all get used to the deductions, Bitcoin never does that. Rather the value of your coin appreciates with trend or reduces with trend. The only payments or deductions is when you make transfers

2. With Bitcoin you are in charge: You are practically in control of your money with bitcoin. You are the one holding it and managing it and not a third party such as bank when you have your bitcoin in the blocchain network. The only time you add a third party is when you use the exchanges.

3. Value Appreciation: The banks may give you a fixed interest rate that add a fraction to your principal but Bitcoin would multiply your coins many times over years.

4. Keeping money with the bank doesn't really benefit me in any way as per growth. Seems the banks are the only beneficiaries with banking unlike Bitcoin which benefits holders, miners, exchanges and traders.

Though keeping or storing bitcoin is not without its risks, I sure prefer it to leaving my money with any bank

I trust bitcoin over banks  and love bitcoin more and more because banks are out to benefit from the savings of customers and return little interest to the customers. There are a lot of bank charges that customers must pay to the bank for an  account to be properly maintain by the bank. The Bitcoin is maintain by individuals, with no charges  and the gain in Bitcoin is not comparable to the interest the bank tends to add. Bitcoin appreciate in a way that the bank can never attempt to engage in. I will continue to Love Bitcoin more and more because it is very beneficial with a great tendency to change one life for good  

For me both bitcoin and banks provides better experience because I am using it both. Through banks I was able to get my salary from my work and has also given me enough opportunity to invest bigger amount of money.On the other hand investing and holding bitcoin gives me better experience as well for my earnings grow faster on it rather than saving it all in the banks.

I use both bank and bitcoin, for me it's better to have  both but for different purpose. I use bitcoin for investment,  coz I believe that my money can grow even higher when I invest it in btc. While I use bank for savings, also when I have btc earnings I convert 50% of it and use my bank account for that transaction.

Bitcoin. Because bitcoin is convenient. Bitcoin can be traded anywhere. I can convert bitcoin to money soon. Bitcoins have low fees. Investing in bitcoin increases my income. I like bitcoin very much, and I'm optimistic about the future of bitcoin. :)

My vote is for bitcoin I do not need to go directly to the bank to pass the requirements and fill up the application form.  I do not need to disclose information about myself. Plus if you put your money on bitcoin it will grow relatively.  Unlike banks the highest interest per year would be 3% which is really low compared to bitcoin.

Because bitcoin provides security in my investment, free from hackers and scammers they gives me assurance that my money is in a goof hand.
Aside from that bitcoin gives me a huge amount of return on investment in just short period of time; which the bank cannot afford to provide.

yes i am in the favour of bitcoin because it is not a panic from the beginning because through banks a lot of documentation and the waste of time are also there instead of this bitcoin give you freedom and this is decentralised currency ever which can be used for many transaction with out any problem and it can be transferd everywhere with out any problem. the bitcoin has a good future and people are leaving banks to join this currency for future.

I do trust bitcoin, same with banks. Banks and bitcoins have their different roles and affects in our society, they are beneficial in our lives in different ways. We earned in banks through interest while in bitcoins, through investments hold in wallets. Putting our trust to each of them depends on us how we handle it and safekeeps in our own way.

Trust of being earning much more rather than investing a money in the bank.

I trust bitcoin over banks is simply because the profitability in bitcoin is very high and a lot of investors already gained lots of profit in investing in bitcoin. While in bank our money will just sleep there and will not earn as much as we earn in investing bitcoin and other crypto currencies.

Even in my next life I will still choose bitcoin over bank this is because bitcoin allows and give me the opportunity to control my transactions without any interference of a third party. This is not so with bank which subject they customers to the will of a third party, bitcoin is decentralized that is to say bitcoin transactions is not under the control of any central bank or government.

in every day life you need to have a bank account, to deposit your salary, for your debit/credit card and so on.
There is no way you can replace right now a bank for the daily expenses, investment offered if the banks are not a real money making investment unless you have loads of money while BTC a different form of investment managed by yourself, with tons of risks too but you have a bigger change to gain profit.

Bitcoin is a decentralized process other side banks are a centralized institution. So, bitcoin is available everywhere.
Butcoin's traditional fee are little than banks.Bitcoin gives us opportunity to control our transaction without any third party's interference. Banks have debit/credit cards, if it become lose, we at a time can't control or ban this cards. Other side bitcoin is always in our wallet, there is a password to use the bitcoin or wallet so no one can use our bitcoin. So it is secure. So I trust bitcoin more than banks.Thank you

I also trust bitcoin because from bitcoin, I can make a profit. although the profit is not bigger, I am happy to earn bitcoin. so far, besides earning more bitcoin, I can also earn from another coin so if I exchange my bitcoin, I can take big money. I don't have good experience with the banks because, in every month, I think I need to pay the monthly fee and if I compare the fee and the profit from the banks, it still bigger the fee so I think my money is reduced slowly.

I love and trust bitcoin because i know that i can make more money in bitcoin rather than spending my money in the banks because the banks only have a very small rate of interest which is not a good idea to put your money for long term because if you will put your money in bitcoin instead then after a few months you are already earned a lot of money.

for me is bitcoin because bitcoin is no longer process to have it not like banking because some bank is corrupt and big charges compare to bitcoin thats why i almost like bitcoin than banking!

Hi there cybersofts! First of all I’m not anti-bank nor anti-bitcoin but weighing both advantages and disadvantages lead me to a comparison of a motorcycle and a car. There ratio of people that are killed in motorcycle is higher than in car this is due to safety features. That is the same as the cryptocurrency, many people enjoy the lightning fast of transaction speed but sometimes the bank could process more quickly. Some even say that bank can provide you an easy cash because their ATM is every but bitcoins is always in your hand through your mobile phone but there are more company that accept cash rather than bitcoin as of the moment. But a bank could make your money increase around 3% per month where bitcoin can make it 25% at an average.   ;)

Banks have been there for a very long period of time and people will still continue to deal with them. I personally prefer bitcoin as it's interst rate is much better than any bank and the profit factor from it is much better than cash in general. I use banks mainly for savings and credit card expenditure.

Banks are fraud no doubt, they are suppose to be extinct many years ago i don't know why there are still operating up to now. Perhaps, the masses still don't understand what the true meaning of word freedom means. Whenever you put your money into bank you have no privacy, no security to stop bank from touching your money, and freedom at all to use your money the way you want or even send money anywhere. In fact, even if you can send money to another country the guy receiving will not receive on time, plus huge international transfer charges by bank... what a SCAM???

I certainly agree with this. Banks and bitcoin are totally different from each other. They have different features, processes, etc. that are beneficial to us. It is not needed for the time being to let bitcoin and cryptocurrency to become the only money we will have. Since until now, we have to admit that we still think about the uncertainties of bitcoin in the future, we still need to have our finances to be managed by the bank.

personally I do not ask, I do not particularly like bitcoin, but it brings money because everyone believes, and when the wind will turn I would sell without regret.

But that is the whole point, when you put your money in a bank you need to trust that the bank is going to give you back your money at some point in the future, in bitcoin you do not have to trust anyone you are your own bank, that is the main difference between banks and bitcoin.

I respect your point of view but don’t you think we have to earn more money, there are basically two different factors and people are likely to choose one of these options at a time. Like, if you are interested to earn more from your money then bitcoins are best than anything but this is not the case when your intensions are slightly oriented for security and trustworthiness, so it really depends.

I agree...no matter how much I earn with bitcoin, I'm not sure of the safety and it kills me...in this case I trust the bank...though you can say that the bank can go bankrupt too, but it even has the experience of work...but I don't)

Every type of currency we have has its own advantage and disadvantages. You should trust the type of currency that fits your needs in life. If you feel that cryptocurrencies are just a bubble then by all means only use paper money.

I trust both of them actually. I love bitcoin because it lets me have a good investment opportunities and earn much more money. But I still trust banks because well let us face that btc is volatile and might decrease value in due time. It is important to have a more financial security

Main reason of BTC popularity is very fast increasing price.
If price not rise so fast btc would still be used in narrow circles

Bitcoin transaction are secured than bank transaction and we have the full control in crypto currency but in bank there are just act as third party between the sender and reciever.
But make savings in banks are totally worthless they won't give any earnings for us but we have to pay taxes annually.But in bitcoin to bitcoin transaction no extra tax just only the fee.

and also on the way on how does we can make profit this is where we are able to take the opportunity of having this kind of currency for as we can go through and take a lot of things here. so bitcoin are pretty much better compare with banks the way on how the interest of it.

my main reason is many doc and need to go to bank and start new account "in my country you can’t start new bank account from your home".
also i can send for every one without need to exchange my money or using dollar.

For me, I trust them both. Banks and Bitcoins have different purposes for me. I use Bitcoins as investments and I use banks to secure my savings.
