Title: Where do you get your trading information?
Post by: Gambit1306 on September 18, 2017, 03:39:34 PM
I use TradingView myself for TA, a couple of twitter accounts for latest news / trading advice and reddit's EthTrader mostly. I often still feel like I'm lagging behind though - any tips?

Mostly Youtube and here.  I really like CryptoDaily's videos.  Cryptobud and Boxmining are pretty good as well.  I'm more of a long term hodler so I avoid the pumpers (who seem to be wrong more often than not anyways).

In general to feel the temperature of the market I check as a first thing in the morning the coinmarketcap webside, to also check those altcoins I have identified for my self beeing of interest. Than I also check here in the forum or also try to find any news on twitter. But for twitter I still need to build all the connections.

Youtube 20%, Twitter 15%, Bitcointalk 65%. There is huge amount of information here at forum. You just need to study where to see and who is listen to. Try to find popular persons who makes good forecasts, add them to list and check everyday ther last posts ;)

Reddit--though not the ethtrader daily thread, that's mostly a shitshow. Where possible go to individual projects' reddits.

Evan Van Ness's weekly newsletter.

Brave New Coin's weekly newsletter.

Whatever news shows up in my Google Now cards.

I get all my news here; every thread that I see which is touting an alt-coin I put all my BTC into.  :-)

But seriously... I get a general sense of enthusiasm here, read whitepapers, compare it to trading activity, a few news collator apps on my phone, and of course Google.  That said, I'm only holding a few coins whereas my trading bot is in/out of the rest.

i am using meta trader for btc/usdt and using trading view also, but i analyze all market by my self, using only moving average , bolinger band and fibbonaci retracement, there will be an AI signal from Cindictor and untill now did not get in to white list tobuy token, hope fully i can get tier 4, if you are trader you need to buy this token because with this token you will get signal for trade. its called Hybrid intelegent, AI + collective prediction. but it is reallly hard to  get the token in ICO, maybe i will buy more when the token hit exchange.

The best palce to find good undiscovered projects in bitcointalk. I look into the announcements sections and try to grab hold of coins that i think have got a good potential. Check out the team and reading the whitepaper are a must. Also twitter is a good source of information.

There's a few people I watch on YouTube and I've been learning Technical Analysis for myself so I can react to the market.  Its good if you can develop skills for yourself and back up your knowledge from a wide range of sources.

To find out trading information I use my twitter and my telegram account with a group that discusses and analyzes a coin. They always give trading signals like when I should buy and when to sell. it is very useful for me.

Your not lagging behind because im doing the same thing. Doubts and anxiety would really be always there thinking off that we did miss something regarding on those information we do seek already.Sometimes i do follow the news and sometimes i go on opposite way and just doing my own trading style and analysis which somehow works for sometime which is really an advantage for me.

I believe you are already using the available tools in your arsenal to be updated in your trading venture. An additional source of information that you could use to get more information about a certain coin, market or exchange is this forum. Many people are active in this forum and news/announcements are posted here right away once it was made. Most of the coins that are well-known today started here in this forum like ETH.

Just don't mind the trolls here. They are just here to spread FUD to take cheap coins out of the noobs who read this forum. Value the posts of veteran profiles here and you should be good to go.

From the exchanges themselves. There is nothing that is not going to end up giving you false information other than the numbers themselves. You are never going to find a completely accurate assessment of anything anywhere except by doing the research yourself. Those numbers cannot and will not lie, people will lie.

I got my trading information to my brother, he is one of the people who inspired me to join in the trading also in the bitcoin community. Also, he gave me some tips on how to handle my bitcoin together with altcoins and eventually he teach me some strategies on how to increase my income using trading sites.
