I always believed bitcoin could be used for good but I'm torn about using it to fund separatist movements. Oh well, at least the Catalans are well behaved and like to have a referendum like the Scots, not laying siege on cities, kidnapping and killing doctors and teachers, or bombing ships and trains. My country have a bad experience with separatists.
I wonder how many coins Assange has, he's been a bitcoin advocate since the very early days. I bet he is filthy rich. I think we should leave Bitcoin out of politics as much as we can, Catalonia freedom from Spain shouldn't drag Bitcoin into the mud and create a division among the Spaniards, we all want the best for Bitcoin but it shouldn't be used as a tool to divide one another.
