These are 15 coins that we have all heard of, but which of these is likely to see the best ROI for a 3 year run? 

Sure you missed COIN X at $.02  and now its at $X.XX.  BUT it can and should go to $XXX!

ARK

Why?

Because the team of developers are insanely productive, and actually get's things done. They never dissapoint, and I actually believe they COULD outperform Ethereum long term.

The reasoning for that is the community behind, which has been growing at such a crazy rate that the subreddit alone was one of the subreddits with the most growth on all of Reddit percentage wise a few weeks ago.
Also, Smart bridging block chains togehter is HUGE, let alone the smart contracts the Ark team will make on their own coin, which basically is what ethereum got so popular for.

Ark is going to be superior, Dpos staking is revolutionary too, and while ethereum does transform to POS, the rewards are not as high compared to ARK. ARK gains you about 10% yearly.

Yes, I DO hold ARK, and I know it sounds like I'm shilling the fuck out of it. BUT if you actually do some RESEARCH, and read the whitepaper which is HUGE, you will understand my reasoning. I'm also getting the ARK mastercard once they release it. No need for TenX or Monaco... Ark has it all, everything I need.

I do have other holdings as well. Don't get me wrong, but Ark has the most potential here, no doubt.

I chose NEO, WAVES, and NEM. I made my decision to choose these three coins because iI have seen a lot of potential within them they have great platforms with hardworking developers which makes me even more sure of these coins.  and I certainly believe that if the developers of these coins would really pursue their goals honestly and be more investor friendly, Then I don't see any reason why they wouldn't achieve success. It will only be a matter of when.

I chose waves, iota and lisk. Iota and lisk are just a guess, but waves I think should be compared to ethereum and in this perspective it`s absolutely undervalued at the moment.

I will put my $1000 in to these :
1. Waves. Reason : huge community, DEX is already running, more feature in development , not pump yet after last pump. Possible there will be next pump, can be leased and get more waves fr leasing it.
2. Nem. Reason : nice community, good feature, not token at ethereum or it is has its own blockchain.
3. Iota. Reason : different technologies from blockchain. It is using tangle. Zero transaction fees makes it possible adopted by many device or robot.

I would vote for Waves / IOTA / ETC. There will probably be more successful altcoins but this 3 are more or less know altcoins with known team. So less risk with big potential  :)

NEM - Continous development and all people behind the coin is actively doing some meetups, seminars all over the world.

NEO - Im following this since AntShares/Antcoin saga. The price back then is cheap but developments are being spreaded making it believe that day that the coin price will boost later on. And it did after several monts.

WAVES - Just a little bit of volume push at DEX and I see that WAVES will be used to as based contract for new coins today.

Overall this coins are considered as good for LONG TERM HOLDING. There are still other coins but I preferred to choose only those listed on the POLL.

Waves and Tenx. Waves because it didn't get pumped as much as other coins and still has things planned for the future. Tenx pays out fees, simple. NEO I'm not sure because it's already so expensive, but PoS and ICOs could help it anyways.

Of course i will put $1000 in Waves, 3000% In golem, 3000$ in Tenx and the other $3000 on Lisk, i think those are one of the best portfolios that anyone can have, it is 100% pure profit for the next months, tenx are obviously going to rise they market capitalization, and its price is going to rise soon. And lisk, everybody knows the big potential that it has. The same with golem, it is a slowly-riser.

Its mean ALT/USDT or ALT/BTC?

If ALT/USDT I prefer to choose Waves, OMG, and Iota. Technically, I don't understand behind their blockchain, but most of people talked about them, its gonna be high, but not this month or next, maybe on January 2018.

If ALT/BTC, I will choose BTS, STR, and NXT. I have seen they are achieve ATH  3 -4 months ago, and I think they can going at their last stand even I suggest on march or June next year.

NEO - huge potential and very good price right now, trying to accumulate more
BTS - extremely undervalued coin, waiting for it to hit at least 10k
TENX - great price right now, can go at least x5 in long term

I picked waves and ardor! Both have fundamental good profile and their dev and the team is very active!

i picked stratis, IOTA and NEM.
All these coin are very good and have potential to grow up in the future. I'm still regret when i only bought 5000 XEM @70 satoshi and 1400 stratis @8000 satoshi, but sold it all on low price

My choose from the beginning when I trade an altcoins are Straris, Civic, and Waves. These are the coins which I invested so far. I hold and they have a potential coin which offer a good project.

I like ARK; SIGT and UNIFY. All shitcoins (the last two more shitty than first one) but IMHO with nice potential to increase in price and make a very good ROI in 2/3 years to come, despiting beeing risky.

Believing is all nice and dandy, until your judgement fails you and you lose everything. There's a reason why you can't find any successful investor who doesn't have a spread out portfolio.

all of these coins have excellent fundamentals and/or strong use cases. having to choose, i say ARDR BTS WAVES also because they have still reasonable marketcaps and haven't been pumped as hard as others so far.

otherwise, my favorite in the lot and the one i support since longest is Maidsafe, although i'm not sure it'll be as safe as others in terms of $ rewards.

My 3 bet coins are NEO, WAVES and NEM. I like NEO because many says it is the "Ethereum of China" and it is based on Ethereum blockchain. The thing I like WAVES it has its own Exchange called DAX (decentralized Exchange), we need this because we know there are many issues with centralize exchanges like Poloniex. NEM for me is one of the advanced and secured system. All these three I believe in their Dev team. That's why I am holding their coins for long term investment.

I like Waves, BitShares, and Wings.
Good developers, just need time! Buy also we depends from bitcoin price.

What do you mean by "best returns"? Most safety? Or largest ROI?

I would suggest NAV... Their Roadmap looks promising and the team is experienced.

Ok my vote is for WAVES and BITSHARES. Both of them has a wonderful community, offers excellent good trading platform. Both of them are asset coins where dozen of new coins are built under their blockchain.

WAVES - this project has everything realized that other projects only promising at the time. I really dont get why it is not in top 5 marketcap
IOTA - very innovative, the first coin on DAG, when IoT will be everywhere so will IOTA

CoinDash - will move upwards after china fud passes
0x - huge dex potential
kyber - vitalik influence, mega hyped

For 1000$ I'd break at least 5 altcoins. Risks of loss of Deposit is significantly reduced. Here are 5 altcoins I invested:
chelle, OMG, dash, games, hem

I would invest in ETH which is not mentioned though, other coins would be Civic, OMG and Dash. Seems to me this have potential for future survival and retain its good price among exchanges. Also their demand in coming time may increase as btc is getting expensive for people so they are shifting to altcoins having lesser price.

I am for PIVX, ARK and HEAT right now. They all have promising roadmaps and hopefully a bright future ahead :)

You guys should stop buying garbage and learn the basics of economics. Most of these coins are not only premined, but they have highly centralized supply. Some of them have a supply in the order of billions of coins, which explains why they are worth pennies.

1000$ for waves . Unique platform, good idea, good security,good technology but simply to use,   :)

Zcash with the anonymiti technology and neo with the gas emision to generate the dividend by the users or token holders, But the neo just makes me interesting right now. The token already pumped a lot.
