What I am knowing.

1. Participating in bounties: signature, twitter, facebook.
2. Maybe some airdrops.
3. Participating in voting at website Wings.ai
4. Receiving some coins from Waves (actually what I need to do to receive coins? Or nothing except having waves?)

So my question is.
What other methods do you know? The most interesting thing for me is getting coins through other altcoins.

Some exchangers like yobit and cryptopia offer also altcoins.
Yobit on free coins tab and cryptopia mainly at troll box.
If you like gambling, you could also use faucets on gambling sites for example crypto-games.net and 999dice.com

Sometimes some people start new kind of competitions on forums to guess riddles. They are giving away free coins to winner. I guess it can be counted as well.

What you mean that cryptopia and yobit offer altcoins? How can I receive it from this exchanges? Or you mean to buy  ;D

Faucets is not what I meaning here about. I'm want to know some serious altcoins to receive profit.

I also knowing byteroll airdrop, but need to have too much bitcoins to receive something valuable.

Wow, your list is more comprehensive than I can think of. I would also say some coins are proof of human work, like steem which rewards user generated content, or cindicator for good predications, or numerai for data scientists, you can earn coins from there too.

No, you get freebies there. On yobit go to "Free Coins" and on cryptopia go to trollbox. But I think, its to low amount for you.

Well there's also lending on Poloniex, you can lend coins to someone and get money from the interest.

Use Bitcointalk forum and participate bounty Twitter, Facebook and know about new coins.

Lending is a fairly boring and non rewarding way of putting your coins into something. On top of that, Poloniex isn't exactly an exchange I recommend people to use due to them not handling support tickets and not going through verification requests. I personally always go for trading coin versus coin since you can optimally benefit from the regular volatility altcoins experience. I am not at all a fan of depending on external sources for income, so I at all times prefer to put my money/coins to work in form of trading.

We really can't describe what Poloniex or similar exchanges offer as lending. It is loaning. Lending is what bitconnect does in its program and it is appropriately likened to what banks call a fixed deposit.

As per getting New coin (as stated in the thread topic, not just any existing coin), that may be through ICOs or through exchanges as soon as the coins are listed in the market.

Number one and two is actually the only way I know to get free coin, I did not know that you can also get coins with number three and four will probably try that one now.

That's best way to get new coins usually the developer of team altcoins making announcement about the projects of coins on bitcointalk in announcement section here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0 many new altcoins on there, include the information about the projects, airdrop, the exchangers will accept the new coins, bounties campaign and any other important information about the projects.

Ico bounty programs seem to be the best way to be the best way to get new coins. If this is not possible one could invest during the presale. Other than this as an user stated few coins has got the ease of mining without big investments. So, different options were available and it's up to us to pick the right one.

this is not really a good way of "getting" coins though.
first of all freebitco.in claims to be mining Monero which is something you can mine with your CPU, secondly i have to say something that you mine inside your browser can not really be efficient. you need to run a miner, some code that is dedicated for mining only not some script inside your browser.

Best way to get "free" coins is to work for the devs

I saw some people are offering their service to the developers. You can try to make a blog.

In order to get new coins, one have to follow this forum constantly to get informed about airdrops and bounty campagigns and it's also good to set up a Twitter account and follow channels specialized to new coins and airdrop events. @CryptoAirdrops is a channel like that.

I wrote before about kickico... but they still not implemented this feature. In near future.

So at this week don't find any new method to receive new coins.  :-[

I daily check Bitcointalk thread about Altcoins Announcements, that's enough to know about ongoing and upcoming ICOs :)

The best way is buy form the ICO.Most of the people here do it.you can use this tips.or you can join siganature and social media bounty.its also a good way for getting new coin.

I am all the above mentioned points for getting altcoins more than that I will participate ico . Even I am giving services for getting coins. But high revenue people are getting here is running campaigns either Bounty or signature they are the real winners in the community.

You can participant in Pre-ICO and ICO. This is the best way. Most of the cryptocurrency trader do this. I also do this. In fact, I do Signature and Social media bounty for the new coin.

I searching hard new methods, but this week nothing found.

And I can declare now that the best option (in my opinion) now for receiving new coins is voting in portal wings.ai! I receiving new coins just for votings. It is very nice!

I have a full time job at the moment so my Wif she finds more time to look at the new coins then we go over them together. I see many new airdrop coins now but by the time I try to get any of them they have all gone. I guess many people cheat and create multiple accounts to get as much free coin as there is possible for them. It's a real shame that evne Crypto is riddled with cheaters and gives it a bad name ot outsiders looking in.

for now I use a simple way that is by following ico and working on bounty in altcoin to get new coin.

Bitcoin, we buy when needed. Alt coins we either buy or power mine if there is an opportunity. We do not faucet or mine Bitcoin, it doesn't work. Bitcoin comes to us solely because we exchanged FIAT for it, used it to trade and then traded back to Bitcoin. There have been to easy ways to get BTC for quite some time.
