Title: Any recommendations for 'newbie' trading courses, please?
Post by: RakeshS on September 19, 2017, 11:39:06 PM
Hi all,

I'm interested in learning more about day trading, with a specific focus on Crypto currencies, if possible.
I prefer visual learning in the form of lectures, walkthroughs, etc. so ideally I'd like a video course that outlines the fundamentals, key concepts and strategies.
Are there any such courses by reputable teachers/organisations that anyone would recommend?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Rak.

I dont have any trading materials for bitcoin per se, but this one site helped me out with trading in general. It is called baby pips and discusses forex trading but I think the

applications can be applied to bitcoin/altcoin graphs and trading as well. Goodluck. https://www.babypips.com/learn/forex

I've heard a lot of good words about this certain cryptocurrency YouTuber and trader, High Altitude Investing. He talks alot about market trends, certain altcoins, etc. Check him out. Can't guarantee that his information is good though. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCD9j5qyDqQvb9qnLss3vxww/videos

Newbie and day trading don't really go together.  Remember to only play with what you can afford to lose.

That now a lot of training courses, from the simplest to the impossible. Someone to identify is wrong, everyone has his own vision, you have to decide which way to go first.

I've checked their site out. They look like they know what they're talking about. Their course is quite expensive though, and I'd just like to get a general overview before spending thousands on training. They YT channel is great though.

I appreciate that.
Generally I invest for the long term, but I'd like to add this 'string to my bow' and just learn a bit more.
I won't be putting my house on anything ;-)

What I mean by 'someone' is a good, credible teacher who communicate's well. I guess everyone has a style/strategy, but a good teacher will help you find the bestsellers approach for you. Anyway, initially, I'm just looking to learn the basics. There's a chance I might not even like it! :)

My recommendation is that you save your money. Do not delude yourself into thinking someone has the answer to your questions.
Create an account at a licensed exchange in your country.
Fund it with money you can lose by linking to your bank account.
Keep careful records for tax reasons. Yes you are being watched.

Don't waste your time with faucets or get involved with scams (most any offer here is a scam).

I'm seeking to learn, not look for 'answers.'
