can anyone from the experts in the field explain to us newbies how that can make a big difference in the future.
and which coins uses which proof.

There's too many coins to name lol.
Proof of work = generating blocks through gpu/asic hashing
Proof of stake= generating blocks through staking coins on the network

Proof of work = generating blocks through gpu/asic hashing
Proof of stake= generating blocks through staking coins on the network

i can't understand what is the point of the question ( proof of stake vs proof work) correct me if i'm wrong in the bounty campaign or signature campaign the payment of the campaign made from the stake, working in the campaign thats the proof of work to get stake as payment.

There are differences and there are cons and pros. Proof of Stake is better. I recommend you to watch this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5x1X_mdo2mY It's explained well.

PoW is unsustainable in long term, so eventually all main coins will have to switch to PoS or some other method that doesn't consume gigawatts of electricity globally.

That's pretty much what it is. The concept is really easy to grasp when you get the idea of Cryptocurrency.
