I am not among earlier bitcoin adopters but it was the position of equal distance of bitcoin price when i bought a little amount of bits.
It was $1980 the value of bitcoin when my friend earnestly caused me to buy 0.2 BTC and the truth about it is that i am still holding it.
At the moment,i think bitcoin is really having a serious purpose in my life.

I do not believe that when you're first in bitcoin it's bigger that you just get me bitcoin for every bit because every time you want to invest and what you really want to earn your capital in bitcoin is also bigger You can get the bitcoin you earn.

Is getting into bitcoin at around $700 early enough?  :D  If yes, what would you like to know specifically?

What I remember most is just that I wasn't minding the price of bitcoin that much more than a year ago, because the price was stable and steady at around the $600-$800 price for a while(if I remember correctly). I wasn't that active on these forums that time too, as I wasn't like super into cryptocurrencies yet. The next thing I knew bitcoin was around $2000 already in a snap of a finger. After that happened I decided to hold more; and when I mean hold I mean not spend my bitcoins on Steam games.  ;D ;D ;D

I have been here since MtGox and I have tried several methods to try to get bitcoin, and the truth is, unless you are lucky, you will lose money in the altcoin speculation game. It's better that you stick to buy bitcoin every month with your wage at whatever market price, just keep buying every month. After 3 years of doing this, you will see the mad gains coming, specially after it crashes and stays cheaper for a while, that is when you must buy the most, when people are being unreasonably negative is when you must take the most action.

So keep buying monthly, and try to offer services and skills in exchange of BTC too.

I would really like to hear those words specially to those people who did engage on bitcoin on its 1st year but if we cant able to hear them out on this thread there are lots of threads you will see on those people specially on year 2010 and ahead.Its really glad to read those words from them they keeping speculating on the price just like on what we are doing right now.

if you want to probe back in 2013 when I started to adopt a bitcoin payment / finance system, this is really the price hike that until now it's only entered into 1 to 4, which means it's only a quarter of the real bitcoin price. bitcoin travel is still very long and for now do not hesitate in buying bitcoin ,, because your doubts will lead to regret ,. I have been running this system for many years. and with this I do not need to work in an office ,. simply relax and get results every month

Good to hear that someone did able not to work on office and goes full time with bitcoin and did rely on its earnings for monthly basis.At first when im still a newbie those doubts regarding on possible prices of bitcoin cant really be removed and im sure you do feel the same thing too knowing price is really unpredictable and i do agree as you said which we should really buy as of now knowing price do increase over time.

First heard about crypto in 2011 when a friend was talking about 'mining Bitcoin'. I thought it was something in Minecraft, go figure ...
Bought my first piece of BTC in the spring of 2013; I paid 15 euros for 0,58BTC. Started trading with it immediately and managed to waste 90% in a matter of hours. In the following years I never bought a significant amount of BTC because "it couldn't possibly rise any further". Only this year I managed to squeeze a sizeable profit out of crypto.

I have also followed BTC when it was less than $1K.  But didn't you asked whatever your question is. Someone should be able to give you a thought if you just shoot.

I started with bitcoins in 2015 and I can say that it has changed significantly. There are many people who are rich here and there is no problem with money. Just like I was very poor at those times I really needed money, But I did not put it in money. What I did was collecting it and as a result I had accumulated about 6 BTC and I just kept it down. Occasionally I release a bit because it really needs money. I stopped at bitcoins and just let my Bitcoins, Now I just came back and I was surprised at the change. and I can say the value of my bitcoins is huge

I dont if its 2015 too but i am earning btc back when it was still at 600$. The most prominent altcoin out there was litecoin and dogecoin then there comes ETH. Who in today was a lot succesful than any of those coins.

Way back 2013 or 2014 bitcoin price was around 200 USD. I purchased 10 btc back then and sold it immediately after gaining some small gains.

Then i switched into forex trading and lose huge amount of money. after that i forget everything (forex and crypto)

I regret not holding btc for a long time.  :(

But this year is my comeback and i will strive to recover my losses thru crypto and forex trading once again.

I'm not an early-early adopter, but I do consider myself to be at least close to that considering the fact that I managed to buy myself a good number of coins below the $300 mark back in 2015.

I started out as a pure hodler, meaning that I didn't trade or invest in altcoins or whatever, which resulted in me having kept hodling pretty firmly in the last years. I think it's a year now that I do some occasional trading.

It feels amazing knowing that my wealth is increasing basically on a monthly basis, and that Bitcoin is something that will keep going up in value throughout the years. I am even at a point where I don't want to cash out my profits anymore.

Bitcoin is such a precious asset, that it only makes sense to hodl.

Actually, btc is really a creative currency and now it is not worth talking about yet, as yet the world community has accepted it. Everybody looking for a common goal is to earn money to support life in reality. It can be said that very few people buy btc and use it. I'm sure the fact is that.

Since there are no much use in btc now other than saving or investing it, for there are few shops and apps that accepts btc then it will be for better since we can save more ,so when it gain too much adaption we have some to spend.

I think you will not find such people you are looking for here on the forum, cause of they must be so rich already that they don't care about other ways for making bitcoin which are represented here, such as signature campaigns and other jobs, so, they can just follow bitcoin news, which are easy to be found on the internet on every possible language.

Wow 200$ btc at that time being invested would have yield you today 3700$ at present. You would have made loads of money had you being holding even couple of btc. Had you being in cypto world from that time I am sure you would have made money and lost like you did in forex. better late than never , welcome back to the cypto world.

Being able to acquire 10 BTC is amazing, as of this present moment I haven't even acquired 1 BTC. Its value would be hundredfold or more right now had you stored it in a wallet. It's sad to hear that you lost a huge amount of money when you switched to forex. It must have discouraged you but its a good thing that you have resorted to make a comeback in cryptocurrency. Despite only starting now, Bitcoin still has the potential to grow for the coming years. It's not too late to make an investment.

Trading has its risks but its profitable and rewarding. You are bound to lose some money because of these risks but rewards would come with it once you are able to buy and sell at the right time.

Yes i stored all of my bitcoin at https://blockchain.info/ during that time. I dont leave my coins on exchanges unless it is short term trading.

Lesson learned and i will not repeat that history.

I was early adopter of crypto especially the bitcoins. And I can say many things have changed my life because of this. So I can say that it's not too late for the beginners. many Altcoins are still new works and you can invest there and handle for many years. So be diligent and be patient so that you can achieve your dreams

i would say congrats for you which is followed bitcoin and welcome to the crypto currency world. i hope we can make money from bitcoin like others. its been a hard day to stay in bitcoin but there is a way for us to keep stay and make profit in crypto currency. but for sure, bitcoin is always change someone which want to make his life better than yesterday.

Nobody needs to be earlier into bitcoin to share there best thoughts regarding the bitcoin. We can imagine that by ourselves how it would have been once we started few years back when bitcoin was worth nothing! That early bird story is million dollar story where people invested with fear of loosing the money even when it was just cents and dollars back then. People who still invested surpassing the phase of new comer they got wealth today, so much of it that they can just sit back and watch the world run for it. That is what the story of early bird says.

Unfortunately not early adopter of bitcoin, but i really believe and hope it is not late.

Well everybody know that it is not a new thing that you are saying bitcoin have touched the sky and everybody willing to invest into bitcoin so i would like to say it is not a new thing what are you trying to pull in a middle.

As far as I am concerned, we are all still an early adopter. Even though we got in earlier than each other, it is still a good thing that we are all going to reap the future benefit one day. However, it feels good being a part of those who saw the future in Bitcoin and quickly took the opportunity early enough before we started having huge prices these days. At least, no matter what, we have paid our dues and reaping it now.

Early adopters are the ancestors of the current society, they were perfoming mining acitivites for bitcoin and this was in the past. Most of them made huge money with bitcoin and they left the system, already.

I think if we will look back at this moment in 10-15 years we will consider ourselves early adopters as well. Think about it, how many people in your area actively use and truly know what bitcoin is? That's right next to nobody. Also this market isn't a trillion dollar market yet. We have still a lot of ground to cover in terms of market cap and adoption.

Even though I started really studying it in 2011 I think as long as you buy below $10,000 you are in a really good position of making a huge profit in the next 10-20 years.

Correct,no matter how late we are on engaging on bitcoin as of these years but doesnt matter since bitcoin is still young.8 years and counting and there still lots of chance to increase its price soon and i do consider this range is just too small regarding on its full potential.This is why as long we are reaping profits and able to make benefits on it then theres nothing to regret.

I'm not so early adopeter like some here, I'm with Bitcoin since 2012 but I can say that back then it was quite different than it is today. It seems to me that it was easier to get Bitcoins than today and that users were appreciating Bitcoin more and accepted it for different reasons not just pure profit.
But for anymore who wants to join the Bitcoin it's not too late, there is still time, I think it's still young cryptocurrency with a lot of space for development.

Well most likely most early adopters here would likely not be here on this forum. Likely they are at their luxury houses or boats or fancy cars and they are enjoying their lives while we all are here scampering for the crumbs that was left out of the wake of bitcoins sudden popularity and price growth. Great for us, right?

I started at $700. For me its already a great achievement to get some few BTC under that rate lols. I am still purchasing BTC during Bitcoin dumps. Waiting for the next huge dump when BTC bubble explodes.

Note: Bitcoin is a falling wedge.

Of course, they are Bitcoin holder in few years ago when the price of Bitcoin was 3 digits dollar or even 2 digits dollar, they deserve to receive the benefit after hold Bitcoin in a long time 8). We are only people missed the chance get rich from Bitcoin :P.
