It's curious to see that you explicitly support US players joining. Most sites that allow US players don't make a big deal about it, probably because of the possible implications if the government decides to crack down on online betting.

Congrats on your new website. I can see you are using Poker Mavens software. There are few challenges ahead of you and im interested how do you plan to attract the players, why do you think your website is better than other Mavens poker sites that have almost no traffic?

Don't expect too much from free money, I believe you have just tried to withdraw the money from the giveaway after you play and win with the giveaway. It is normal if they do manual process to avoid abusers, it is just an exception for you and all those who try to withdraw any winnings from the giveaway. So be patient for your free money.

The site looks great, at least you have a good effort in preparing the site (not just a site with default maven software). I think you may get good traffic as long as you know what is/are the best strategy to keep players stay on your site longer. Your first giveaway sounds nice but you have to make sure that there are no abusers who try to claim the giveaway with multi accounts.

You are really giving some nice promos here, 40% lifetime commission on referrals seems a lot, and I never see that much in any site, it is definitely worth the investment. You are cutting down 40% of your profit, and you need to cover all network expenses, so it's a nice promo, hope you can keep it. And with the "No Flop No Drop" rule, you will again be cutting a lot of the profit from ring games. This looks like a great investment from your side, so I hope it works. I just didn't like that you need to put your email for registration. Also it would be nice if we could have a peek into the room and see how things are going in the ring games, and also what type of tournaments you have. I didn't see any information about freerolls. Do you have them?

There is no tournaments so far, freeroll is always great but it wont guarantee stable traffic. I also do not see too much activity on ring games even though this site is giving away 500chips =50k satoshi for new players. Probably it is because of timezone differences which is one of problems of pvp based game.
I would prefer to see regular GTD tournaments or active ring games instead of freerolls because freerolls will only attract freerollers who only play whenever there is freeroll. Otherwise they will not come back to play,  it is a big homework to the owner to attract people playing ring games regularly. I'll see what they can do to get many active players.

Well it depends on how the site would deal with the money earned from the freeroll. It would have to be available to play on other games right away, but it could have withdrawal restrictions. Like before they make some rake, or play a determined number of hands etc, they would slowly release that freeroll money. They should also be allowed to withdraw any winnings above the freeroll money (lets say I win 50 chips with the freeroll, and after I play a while my balance is now 150 chips, I should be allowed to withdraw 100 chips, or more if I had already released some of those 50 freeroll chips to my normal balance). This would keep some players at the tables, and would help to create a player base.

I must say that is horrible idea as they would be only poker site ever having restrictions on freeroll winnings.

It is not that horrible as long as the restriction is reasonable, it is only to avoid freerollers who only want to make profit from freeroll without playing real games. If you are a poker site owner then I believe that you do not want to giving away some money for those type of players. It is OK to have no restrictions freeroll for promotion purpose only but for regular promo then it will not be good for the site.

Well if i were poker site owner only limitation to freerools would be points. Example: you cannot enter freeroll if you dont have enough points / rake / hands played  etc...... to give out bonus money as freeroll winnings is ridiculous.

Regarding that point swc and nitrogen set good example. If you want to participate in higher freerolls than 1 chip on nitrogen you need to have certain ammount of hands played on swc you need to have enough points and i think something like that could be easy implanted here.

Freerolls, are a great promotional tool for poker brands. In fact they do more good for a brand than for a player. Theres actually no need to ask or a bonus requirement to release your funds, instead make a minimum withdrawal that is higher x5 by the maximum given to 1st place in a tournament. That means that the player winning lets say 0.5 or 1 mbtc will need atleast 5mbtc to withdraw, making him either play cash games, enter real tournaments or continue to play freerolls all day and all night until he reaches the minimum withdrawal.

Why is this good?
Your creating a room that drives action! Users winning alittle bit of money will sit on cash games and wait for other players to join.
Your filling your poker room with players
Your causing "some" freerolls to eventually deposit

like kid_dik mentioned, if you wanna give out higher freerolls, you can do so to players that have deposited or raked enough points.

But don't use the dirty trick many unregulated fiat casinos use, by making you wager like 50 x the bonus! I don't think any player will take that seriously.

by you promoting 5 freerolls a day with 1 mbtc, the max your giving out daily is 5mbtc, whether someone is abusing this or not, that is the maximum you are releasing in freerolls.

Well I played on a poker site that had this restriction, it was a fiat site (party poker if I'm not mistaken, because I used to play on many sites, so I don't know for sure) and there was no problem with it. In fact I made quite a decent profit from it, because I started playing on cash tables and on normal tournaments, and ended up winning much more than I would if I had just withdraw the freeroll money. I also had no problem releasing the "bonus" because it wasn't a crazy restriction.

Also don't know if you understood this part or not. I was able to play with the money I won from the freeroll (in cash tables or tournaments) without any restrictions. I just wasn't able to withdraw it right away (although if I had money above that prize, I could still withdraw my winnings). So it wasn't a problem at all. The site just wanted me to keep playing in their room, and so I did. And like I said, ended up winning much more than I would, If I just happen to withdraw that prize.

For me freerolls are meant to help a player create a bankroll for the site without having to deposit. The restriction I've mentioned just enforced that the prize was used like that.

Just tried your site because i'm looking for btc pokerroom to play.
I liked interface of it. I tried not so many browser pokerrooms actually but this one seems to be nice for multitabling.
But i must say changing rules of giveaway two times for the week looks a bit unprofessional though i definately see the point of changes.
Also what about other games? I get that you are just starting but as for me i'm not interested to return while you offer only nlh. I really hope you consider adding some more games in close future.

Sorry a little bit off topic, it is about your signature which looks like just a copy from Fortunejack signature especially the "get started now". I do not think it is a good thing to do, you should create your own signature. It could be a big problem for your reputation because you are copying other gambling site's signature although you did a small modification.

Yep the owner decided to deduct -400chips from all users, indeed it is not the best way to avoid abusers.  It sounds that OP is generalizing all users are abusers, which is very wrong. He should have better way to find those abusers and deduct their chips or even he ban them all.

Bots aren't bad at all, people should play agains't them and beat them, it means 24/7 traffic unlikely when you offer free chips and players create multiple accounts to abuse. All I said is the web is lacking of promotions, most of the freeroll players will also get chips to later cashout. I do always have some ideas, and they take time or money. Is always a matter of time to success when you have good promos around, but is not free. I could help without charges, been able to play against people but that's only 1 player... I hope you got me, we can talk fruther about it.

Love the idea of more poker sites popping up nowadays. It seems that there has only ever been a few good ones at a time. The issue I have with this website though, is that it is the same software as 50 other bitcoin poker rooms that have came and went. I'm not saying this one wont work I'm just wondering whats gonna make bitoker any different? I think it has always been a problem for bitcoin casinos to just get the players to play at your room. Might be a good idea to have a week build up to a good sized freeroll as a promotion.

I do not like this type of tournament which start only when the minimum players reached because I wont be able to manage my time as there is no exact starting time.

Online poker has been dying after 2006.  Even the biggest fiat poker rooms' traffic have been dwindling away.  Imho, I don't think it's good to start a stand alone poker site.  But as a sports betting site looking for a complementary game to offer, sure.

I'm already a member (steevreeves). when I joined, I was given 500 chips. only one other person was logged in, so we played heads up for maybe 30-40 minutes. I had about 1000 chips when I quit playing. but the next time I logged in, I only had 400 chips. I ended up losing it all the next time I played... if the tournaments you offer cost 20 chips to register, they're not exactly freerolls.

Have to agree with this guy.. I've played a lot of poker and whenever there's been a freeroll you don't have to pay a single cent to join it. Otherwise it's not a freeroll :D.

not only are the freerolls not free, they won't start unless 15 people are registered. if by some miracle 15 people actually register, there will be 14 people "sitting out" when the tournament happens.

This is the most annoying thing from a poker tournament that has no scheduled starting time. Indeed it will be an advantage for those who can online when the freeroll starts (most probably the 15th player) because he will only play with sitting out players means that he will have more winning chances against those sit-out players but there is no fun at all.
OP should reconsider about the free roll, try to give one freeroll with exact starting time with no minimum players required. Or at least make the freeroll does not start automatically once there are 15 players registered. Give a delay after there are 15 players then inform those players that the freeroll is going to start in xx (minutes, hours). Just my two cents

I dont think there is a specific time when you can find some active players, the site is still in very low traffic imho. You need to make an appointment with other player to online at the same time. Otherwise, it will be just wasting time for you to keep checking the site to find active players.

Firstly, you can decide to promote your site anyway you like, ie, you don’t have to give free money or freerolls. But if someone wins, you can’t take it off of their account. Stick to your promo!
Secondly, your thread on bitcointalk should be used as a platform to hear your players, and hear about their experience. You can’t bash people here, not professional.

Criticism makes progress but some type of people just want to give negative energy and they only intend to destroy. why? because they don't have courage or ability to do some positive things, so im speak with those type of persons directly.  ;)

We didn't take it off any chips from player wins. We drop 400 chips from all users to prevent the site from being poisoned and even we gave 100 chips again to all the users who lose their inventory,we banned around 400 multiple cheater. A lot of people spend time to play and grow chips and withdrawal also they are happy and play again. so its not problem , the problem is that change make way hard for cheaters and liars :)

Operators behaving unethically is a pretty strong poison. You offered a promotion and then seized chips from the accounts of people who legitimately participated in it. There's not really any way to doublespeak around that. And even if 99% of users were abusing the promo, that doesn't justify seizing chips from the 1% of legitimate users.

I don't want to damage any part of the fragile BTC poker ecosystem, but you clearly shouldn't be running a site and holding people's money until you have a better ethical framework for it.

You are going at this thew wrong way r4vani.. You can't be this hot headed when someone gives the slightest amount of criticism. I get that it can get annoying as you are tring to create something here and you've obviously spent time and money on the entire thing but just stop taking it personal. It's a learning curve and you are gaining experience, it's not a bad thing.

Every big site has had ther issues when they started up, but they learned and moved on. My advice to you is to take a page from their book and do the same. It'll only help you in the long run.

Lets play some hands, I'm on table #1 with 1 other player. Just for killing my free time, so who have free time at the moment can join with us before I bust because only have so low chips compared to my opponent.

Sounds very nice to be able to play poker using bitcoins. I've registered on the website (username Chris314, if there's still a giveaway), but it's not easy to play on mobile device as the table is very small. Is there a way to display it bigger, without menus around? My device screen is 5,5 inch,  not that small for a mobile phone.

I'm using 6 inch phone but it is still so hard to play any poker games unless the site has a special application which lets us to play in a full screen like what we can find on so many poker games at playstore.
So I would not recommend you to play poker on mobile devices, simple because it is not fun at all. Even if there site is mobile friendly but the other things on your mobile may disturb the fun such as phone call, messages notification, etc. PC is still best device to play this kind of game.

yes, as rules of app stores we can't put deposit on the app so working on android/ios app to just login and play full screen :) very soon ;D

Sitting here waiting I noticed one person registered for tourney in a 45 minutes and looked into requirements to run. 15 players a bit high, do not see this running anytime soon.
Understand the catch 22 of lowering requirements but on a Sunday it might be worth lowering to drive traffic on what should be a busy poker day. Word of mouth most likely drive past lowered requirements after a week or two.

WTF I had 790 chips, logged in today and says I have 0 chips. Why did the site take all my chips? And never sent me a an email verification so I could withdraw! WTF is going on with this site. OP please explain?

Yeah it is kind of misleading.. You have a "chance" to win a part of 0.006 BTC but you have to find 15 other people at the same time that are willing to register and play the freeroll.. It's been discussed previously.

These delays are temporary, We stopped automatic payments to prevent fraudulent users.

Perhaps this is a problem right now, but in the future, when the situation improves, users will understand the true meaning of this decision.  ;)

It is some kind of affiliates program? If you said 15 people and need to register at the same time? If that so, why OP want to do that? 0.006 for every day is pretty good amount due to the current price. In a month you can earn 0.18 btc which is good. Better than a signature campaign, is it to good to be true?

Reading comprehension? I said there's a chance to win a part of 0.006 BTC from a freeroll tournament. But there has to be another 15 or so people to register for the said tournament at the time you want to play, which is unlikely to happen. Therefor it is misleading as to me it seems like he's giving away 0.006 BTC daily to the users, not forcing them to play where, if you are lucky enough to find other players, MIGHT win a PART of 0.006.

Okay, just signed up and took a look around.  It's mavens software (gold), no active players, deceptive 0.006BTC promotion, and I am very disappointed. Conclusion ---> mavens software can be okay when it has a pool of players to make it a feasible platform, but this site just does not have a player base. Suggestion ---> turn on the bots and let them give away some chips to encourage action, hire some prop players to pad the tables, or initiate a marketing campaign.

I agree, right now there's nothing special keeping poker players on the poker mavens software. I just don't see the incentive to play here over some more established poker rooms online. I would suggest Krill like system which the old seals with clubs used. That always kept me and many players coming back. Pretty much by playing you earn points and those points got you into a pretty hefty freeroll every month. Even with something like that, it makes the transition and grind more worth it.

Sounds like the house rake to me. Rake is The profit a poker room makes off of every cash/bitcoin pot. This is something that is done in all casinos/poker rooms and is how the company, not exclusively makes money. The size of the rake a poker room takes should be a small percentage of whatever the pot is, usually excluding micro stakes. 5 chips seems high, what kind of game were you playing?

Yes it should be the house rake, 5% is a standard rake on poker game imho as it might be higher than that (up to 10%). This is how the house make profit,  poker sites wont be survived if they have no rakes. The more active players on the ring games, the more profit a poker site gets.

We collect a constant rate of 4% for all types of ring games. This rake from the pot never exceeds 5000 chips (0.005 BTC). We have "No Flop No Drop" rule, which means no rake is collected on hands that don't make it to the flop.

I joined a while ago on your poker site and noticed it seems the players are bot, am I right.? It's  good to play even they are bots. Is there any giveaway to try your site? By the way what's the minimum withdraw and deposit on your poker site?

I've just registered and watch the games for a while.

I like
- Your software: it's good for web based service.
- That you have traffic even on high stakes ring games.

What I don't like: Your rake. Cap of 0.005! is INSANE for online poker room! At current rates this is over $36 and this mean a full BITCOIN as rake on high stakes games every 200 full raked hands! Even Stars are having 4-5x lower rake than you.

If you fix this and CAP the rake at 0.001 for example (still high for new room) you will gain a lot more players, including me.

Thats way too much rake for a new poker site.  Not going to take a stab at this place..

Indeed, I played a few rounds and won several hands. On ACR or Ignition, I'd have been in profit. But I actually managed to lose money to the rake here. It's considerably higher than anywhere I've seen. That's going to seriously hurt their ability to attract nitty regulars to fill up the tables.

The days of the poker boom are over.... these guys should make more of an effort to build player liquidity. Do they have a program for prop players? If not, they should consider one. I'm a fan of the software, though. Very slick.

The rake is insane, 5x higher even than Stars. Rake cap is over $30 converted.

It's not very slick, it's very sick and I will not play a hand there until they make it normal.

Now this is much more reasonable cap. Especially for a new room who need traffic.

SCAM ALERT

I deposited 0.01 btc on this site and run it up to 0.13 btc playing at the tables. Then 5 days ago i requested a cashout of 0.05 btc which
hasn't been processed yet. I sent several messages to admin but received no replies. When i woke up this morning my remaining balance was reduced to nothing.

I will give him the benefit of the doubt and wait a couple days more before i give negative trust.

hmm was just thinking about signing up. Will wait now untill this issue is resolved.

I'm not so sure I trust it either. How can they be giving away 0.006btc? They only talk of 100 credits on sign up, so that is 0.0001btc.
They should get back to you if they legit. If they really legit they should help you here and make it public for all to see. Let us wait and see what happens. As you say give them the benefit of the doubt but you are being very patient.

How about this accusation? Is it solved already with processed withdrawal or it is still stuck in pending? No updates from you and from the site's representative who is not active again since Nov 12th.
Just checked the site and it is still online but I'm not sure if there is still active players playing on this site. Kindly update your accusation here so we wont just speculating in regards on your problem.

I didn't receive the payment and ended up giving negative trust. This site has another thread and on that one another player also reported not being paid and funds deleted but he didn't mention the amount he lost.

Leaving negative trust will not change anything as you're not a DT member, his trust remains netral. You should make a scam accusation thread along with valid proofs to support your accusation. DT members will start to look at the accusation, if they think that your accusation is valid then they will tag the OP with negative trust and it will shown in red color.

If you can provide some proof for this, I'll neg them too.
And as stated already, you need to start a scam accusations thread in order for them to be DT negged and get a red warning sign beside their username.

Unfortunately I don't think i can provide any proof. I play poker almost everyday and lose similar amount of money to bad beats and mistakes and i've decided to write it off as just another bad beat. I didn't post that scam accusation in the hope that i might get paid because when the admin didn't reply to my messages and i didn't receive the payment after waiting one week i knew i was scammed. I posted that to warn other players who consider depositing on this site that there is a risk that they will never get their money out of the site.   

Look, if you have emails and private messages sent to he's support email and or he's bitcointalk account is enough proof to at least get negative from a DT2 user for evading straight questions about a cashout, more likely if you sent many on different days is going to work very well as proof.
When I firstly decided to play here with the free bonus their offered, and within less than 5 days they deducted the money from the account because " some other players abused their promo " I knew this site had something strange not scammy but strange as the way of conducting promo and business.

I logged into my account but can't find any trace of the messages i sent to him. I didn't receive a copy in my email either. I have an unreplied PM
on bitcointalk but i'm not sure how much of a proof is that.

You should not trusting a baseless accusation as well, above accusation has no proofs at all so we cant just hear/see from one side only. You can show t show us the latest withdrawal and deposit that you made. Cant you find it on your profile/account page at the site? Something like transaction history?

Under deposits tab it lists my deposit of 0.01 btc. Under withdrawals tab i should have a 0.05 btc cashout request but it says no data available.
My balance shows 13 chips but it should be around 90k. I can provide screenshots but i don't know how to post pictures. Also he can come online and say i lost those chips playing at the tables and i've got nothing to show that suggests he is not being truthful.

if OP is the owner of this site then your problem probably will unresolved because OP hasn't active almost a month and he looks didn't maintain this thread well to answers every questions from their players however the only way to solved your problem maybe we have to wait untill OP active and if he hasn't answer your problem while he active again then possibly you got scam by this site

Hmm this is disturbing. Do you have any screenshots that can back up your claims? If you do and you can come up with the proper proof I'll give this user negative trust and I'll try and help you out in whichever way I can. As I do have some trust here I believe I could cause some damage. Hate it when we see new good products, and then people end up getting scammed.

Thanks for your kind offer. I don't have any concrete proof to back up my claims. OP seems to have abandoned his account so probably receiving negative trust won't bother him much. At this point i know my money is gone and  it will suffice for me if my posts in this thread works as a warning and prevents unsuspecting players from losing their hard earned money.

It is a scam, you send them bitcoin in exchange for chips for your account and when you go to make a withdrawal you ban the account staying with your income and the profits you have made! They do not answer any email, TIMO!
