This can happen if the application is still starting up, you supplied incorrect parameters, or there is a communications error connecting to the RPC server" Host = http://api.bitcoin.cz server port = 8332 any ideas? Thanks so much in advance What kind of rig are you running? You may not want to solo mine at all. I'm running a mac pro with two ATI5770 cards. I've done the whole pool thing but I'm kind of in the all or nothing phase right now. I may cycle back around to pool mining but I wanted to get this up and running just as a curiosity. Two things: 1) If you want to mine on a mac you should use boot camp to boot into windows or linux; macs are awful at mining. 2) If you get this online as a solo miner, you will not even reomtely have a chance of finding a block within the first 32 months, at current difficulty, considering 800MH/s; even then, luck must be on your side.
