Which altcoin would you suggest for new year 2018 and why?

My money is going to be on EOS. I have yet to invest in EOS but I think 2018 is their year. I am planning to buy a few coins soo while it's still tanking. IOTA is another coin that will continue breaking new ground.

If 2017 was the year of blossom for Ethereum, consider 2018 be the year of mighty Waves.
Waves platform is much more stronger than Ethereum chain in both security and speed. It has all the feature of advance cryptocurrency including Decentralized Exchange and perfect to start ICO.
Believe me, Waves will make to top 5 cryptocurrencies till next year.

the development of altcoin in the future will definitely be better. now so many coins are developed in some projects, whether it's an application or something else. in the future, very much altcoin will be developed, and will probably be a platform like btc or eth.

I see good things in the future for Bytecoin  ;)

OP, with these question you will hear of different Altcoin which might be good or might not be good. My advise is to monitor those coins from now till the coming year (2018).
From your observation, you will get your answer.
A lot of people have different views.

SONM – super computer project with much better than golm the beta is expected in aug 2018.

Waves- similar to ETH but I think it’s much better platform for icos and trading coins.

ARK – still under the radar and under development it will be 10x by next year.

UTRUST – payment getaway mainly for merchants similar to paypal with buyer protection and low fees (1%)

Tezos- new coin with much better features than eth and have the full potential to replace the ETH.

My best pick of all is tezos.

Maybe EDG will be on rise in the next year , another one too is SONM after they realese their super computer project the rate maybe increase 10x or 100x from the current rate

I think that old coins will not grow much ,and big profits will give new ones

I agree with you here mate. Right now, all the focus is still with ETH but Waves team is doing their best behind the scenes to setup the pace that would make their little wave to a tsunami. I don't want to shill anything but what I'm saying is all true. You could check their slack channel to see their road map and their upcoming plans, most probably October or November this year. If those announcements will go as planned, 2018 will become Waves year. Sasha traveled around Russia to increase the awareness of people about his coin. The upcoming months and year will be interesting to watch. Better grab some Waves and eat some popcorn while you're at it.  ;D

I'm looking at Ardor. Despite endless development and an upcoming launch, there isn't much hype yet. I think there is a lot of untapped potential in the blockchain-as-service sector that will be realized in the next year or two.

I think that privacy/fungibility is also the next battleground, and that privacy coins like XMR, DASH, and ZCASH will benefit greatly. Smaller privacy coins will likely rise as well.

Waves - Lisk and Ether after the next hard fork.

Waves is good when you see the roadmap. Q1 2018 is very promising for him. Sasha continues to rise around the world and the community will raise soon.
Ethereal is a little too complicated for the issue of an alt.

If Waves will have smart contract, the situation could be different. So many ICO's are already on Waves and it's not again at the version 1.0

Most altcoin will be @moon by 2018
I suggest Ethereum -Ltc -Bat -xcp
All of them should be 2x at least beginning of 2018

Some guys wrote waves and I agree. It still has great potential inside and the price didn't undergo a real pump. At leasti they provide a real innovation to the blockchain community.

I think Waves will be 2018 winner.

You may add eth, waves in your lists. But Im holding some hvn and xrp for a long term. I believe price would become profitable. Ofcourse let us see for the year 2018 and hope we can get earn more profit on these altcoin.
