Batman here again -

Well since Ive gotten 13 emails and over 100 reply to my "Top Altcoins Under $1" thread - I'm going to now share with you the $$$$ Top 5 Coins Under 5 Bucks $$$$.

I and may partners consult to several businesses, individual, 1 hedge fund and 2 banks - so maybe we are totally wrong and have no clue what we are talking about.  - or -  maybe you do your own research, use this forum as a Q and A board wit your fellow altcoin investors and we ignore the morons that say "that coin sucks..." yet fail to give any credible opposing views as to why.

#GettingRichTogether.

1.  WAVES - let me repeats this.  WAVES. They are HUGELY undervalued.  They have several projects up n running on their platform.  The team is doing a great job of development.  It isnt going anywhere (Burger King in Russia uses this platform).  OceanLabs (I recommended 2 weeks ago) is seeing a big uptick under $1 and will be a grower after it becomes easier to trade.  Their DEX is working and will only get better. They are announcing 2 new partnerships in Oct.  The platform is actually better and simpler than ETH and I love ETH.  THis one suffers from GREAT TEAM, GREAT TECH, bad PR Team.  Limited supply, most of it in circulation and TOns of room to grow in the market cap.

Currently at $3.83 - I see this hitting $15 by late 2017 and mid $30 in early 2018. 

2.  ARK - Ark is going to see some high flux over the next 3 months as they just announced a successful connection to ETH and are working on connecting to several others as well.  Arks team is lead by the originally gent that brought out Lisk. Yes, they will end up working together - but Ark is better and faster IMO. Ark gives nice rewards if you lease them from your wallet.  Arks biggest issue is that its a bot ahead of its time.  The FUD around Bitcoin trickles down to the smaller Atlcoins.  Once we right the BTC ship and there is a view of sustainability with some of the other Alts, ARK is gonna moon.  Strong buy under $4 thru end of year.

3.  OMG - Over hyped?  Overpriced?  Depends on your long term view. With the magicman working on this project (Vatalik), the current relationships OmsiGo already has and the amount of work the dev team is putting into this one.  Its gonna be a HUGE winner. Its gotten a  bit overpriced based on where they are from a relationship viability point of view, but lots of people are bullish on magicman's participation and also the fact that OMG has been a viable commodity in Asia for some time with great relationships.

4. WTC - Walton Coin.  I almost didn't want to include this one because my partners and I are making a large buy on this once a certain price point had been hit, but here it is.  WTC is F$%king awesome.  The team has the former VP of Samsung, a MVP already in place, great relationships (tons of announcements coming from them in Q4), backing from the Hong Kong Gov (for those of you who do not know - in SE Asia, the Gov has its hand in everything and you really need a JV to some capacity with them. Esp in Hong Hong).  The RFID chips they are working on in conjunction with the Blockchain is going to revolutionize the supply chains of SE Asia and eventually the globe.  Read the Whitepaper, check out the timeline.  Also before some idiot say "Yeah, but China...."  Hong Kong IS NOT CHINA.  Its a prefecture of China and not directly impacted bu the FUD of China.  Long on WTC is gonna be great.  I see this as an easy 10-15X in 6 months.

5.  Aventus - Only 6,000,000 in circulation of 10M total.  I really like the team and the idea of what AVT does.  I like the limited supply and the fact that 60% of the tokens are in circulation.  The team is good, the site is nice, the pr is solid (A big upswing will come from the PR team being able to market against the colossus Ticketmanster and Stub Hubs of the world.) I believe in tech and real world problems being solved.  If AVT can accomplish what they are set to do, this will become the fastest, safest and most cost effective way to buy tickets and not worry about getting scammed.  Hopefully then can get some traction before the Superbowl. :)

Ark is one of the best of your list, waves too. But you forgot about Golem, i think that one is a sleeping giant that is waiting for a big pump.. It has dropped a lot in the last days because of the last FUD and the recently dump. But it can easily recover to $0,50 if the whales start working on the market.
And the same with Verge, it can go up again, it is so underrated right now.

LISK ?

Good list and I own the first three in your list. Going to look into the WTC and AVT.
AVT slowly trending down after ICO so should be a buy soon.

And 0x is good too, i really like their project , and the founders seems to be so serious, and i really like their personallity, i am sure that this coin will be more than $0,75 before the end of the year. It touched $0,40 a few weeks ago, but it dumped because of china. But i am happy with that, i took the opportunity and i have bought some thousands more.

I already bought some AVT from Etherdelta, and hopefully I did the right thing. I was skeptical before I buy them, but limited supply for AVT made me get into the project.

Great list, already holding the top 3. For number 4, the team seems to check out but the "china" concern remains. Number 5, gonna do some digging. Thanks for sharing.

Just an FYI.  Walton Coin - Hong Hong is NOT CHINA.  They are not effected by the Chinese FUD any more-so than the rest of the Altcoin community. 

Speaking of.... the bulk of the regulations are already in place and will be implemented fully by the deadline Sept 30th.  I believe we are going to see a BIG upswing in prices through the end of the year, especially after this China stuff settles and the big dogs can figure out how, if at all, this is going to effect their trading.

Someone asked about Lisk.  I like lisk, I hold Lisk and they are supposed to be re-branding at the end of this month.   They would make my top 10, but I think they are a bit overvalued for now in this space.  But not by much. 


Lastly RE: Golem aka GNT, for the gent who asked.  It is on my top 10 for coins under $1.  Different thread my brother.  But good eye!

for me 10-15$ is max for waves price at the end of this years. Waves dont have any big update coming.

i am highly trusting to 0x project. and those prices really deep prices.

i invest too in 0x but its not too big and yes like you said, the price now is cheap but i am sure that it will reach the higher price soon. the list from the OP is good although i am not yet heard about wtc and aventus but i have waves, ark, and omg from the long time ago. but i have big hope in waves as i see the project is good with the dev and the teams.

I've had some waves in my bag for a while now, just sitting there not doing a lot.  I've had 2-4 on my list to take a look at, I like your post, I think I'm going to take a closer look at them.  Not thought much about 5, will check it out I guess.  Thanks for this post, always good to get people opinions of things!

Waves, MGO, BNT, OMG, QTUM

Does anyone here agree/disagree with this guys list?

Waves, mgo and qtum in my list. These are very promising coins which holding is the best. Because when you hold and beleive in their project you may earn profit in the future.

altcoin price doesn't matter if supply is huge some coins in your list have market cap near 1B !

For coins above 1$ you need lots of capital to buy in.
In my opinion small raises in a coin are more likely to happen than the other way around.
I know, that the math is the same here, so this'll only be my opinion.
But see for yourself.
You invest 500$ in a coin that costs 0,01$.
Calculating...
So you get 50000 coins.
The price goes up to 0,50$
Calculating...
You now have 25000$

Or

You invest 500 in a coin with the price of 5$
Calculating...
You now have 100 coins
The price goes up to 250$
Calculating...
You now have 25000 too.

In the end it's all about instinct.

In my opinion I want to add DeepOnion. Actually the price is really cheap (around 80/90 cents each Onion) and there is a lot of features to come. For example DeepVault will be launched in one or two weeks. We don´t have enough information yet but the dev said that is a new feature in crypto world.

There is more features to be add in some time too. And the community is giving a great support too. That´s why I decided to invest in DeepOnion.

have a look at all altcoins, these days there is blood everywhere in the streets....so its the best time to buy now... pick some small / mid / high cap  coins.... save them in a wallet... and just wait ...  ;)

Waves and OMG is very good potential coin I think because waves is created by good development.Waves coinmarketcap is huge.Waves will be hit worth of 7$-8$ in December 2017.OMG future is so much good I think.

What really matters is the market cap, not the coin price. E.g. if a coin price is only $0.01 but there are billions of it, how high can the price go? And if a coin costs $50 but there are only 10.000 of it in total and there won't everbe more, would you never buy it if the company behind it has a promising product and many news to come?

Now take an example of bitcoin and ethereum, bitcoin is at $4.3k and for it to get at 10x, i.e. To 43k$ is very difficult and seems nearly impossible but if you see the case of 10x increase in value of ethereum it has to go from 300$ to 3k$ which is easy as compared to the case of growth of bitcoin where it must gain $40k. So i always go for the coins which are cheap and have good potential to grow and buy them in bulk and store them, like penny stocks where you can get rich very quickly with just one great decision.

   How much you are ready to wait is also important, if some alt-coin made $0.5 from $0.01 then that alt-coin
can rise more in the future. Sometimes it is better to wait and keep your alt-coins.
   With one great decision one can become very rich, with so many alt-coins out there it is hard to make just
one decision and to buy just one coin, if we wish to success we need to buy different coins, and one of them
can be that great investment.
   I like the list that creator of the thread presented us, I saw many similar ones, and I would like to have
portfolio with alt-coin, not just 5, my plan is to have more alt-coin on that list, and I think I am not late, this
year many alt-coins are created and this is just beginning.

The value by unit doesn't matter because the number of coins or tokens are arbitrary.

What matters is the market cap, and even market cap can be misleading

ICOs do have an unfair advantage when it comes to marketcap due to all tokens being included in the valuations on release. Also no mining as 100% of the supply is avail on release but only whatever was sold through the ICO available in circulation. Selling will only come from traders due to this. Also if the ICOs were selling at 5 Euro per token, the initial users won't sell below that. It is the perfect Ponzi. 

So I was pretty spot on for 4 of 5.  ;-)

ok here is the thing. if you look at these coins' prices in USD you get the false sense that you made profit. but are you investing your USD or BTC or ETH? which one?

if you are investing your USD then you did make a good amount of profit but at the same time you missed a HUGE amount of profit elsewhere.
for example bitcoin was $3500 by the time you invested in these coins and went to $19600 you missed that.

now if you have invested your BTC or ETH you have actually lost money. because each of these coins have been going down against BTC and ETH. for example
WTC was 0.0019BTC and now it is 0.00068BTC => huge loss
AVT was 0.00062BTC and now it is 0.00031BTC => another huge loss
OMG was 0.0026BTC and now it is 0.0013BTC => big loss
same with WAVES and ARK...

so would you mind explaining how did you crush these picks? because i can not understand it honestly...

The only coins on your list I would recommend are the first 2. Waves will probably be the next platform coin since it is so easily built upon. And you are absolutely right, there are so many exciting news and update for 2018. If businesses like Burger King and OceanWaves, we can only imagine what will happen next.  Ark? Did you see the speed test on reddit ---8 sec? It was insanely fast to the mobile wallet they just successfully implemented. Even after hitting $7, I don't understand why this coin isn't at least $30 like XRB.

Good list bro. ARK is one of my main HODL coin, severely undervalued and the team is so active, check out their github repository and you will see updates almost every hour!! Less than 100Million coin supply, a non electricity consuming method of staking and an innovative approach to blockchain. This is probably the most perfect coin to hold in 2018.

The list has been posted long term ago, I think the OP should try to update the list, there are alot of project on the lists now that are over $10,  will like to see the new updated list

In my opinion these are 5 top coin under $10 u should buy for ling term :
1. Exscudo ( if after mainnet launch the price under $10 u need to buy it ) but i dont think it will be under $10.
2. Xspectre ( if the xspectre 2.0 release which i heard has a privacy staking it will beat all privacy coin )
3. Bitsend ( this coin will perform very good in the long term )
4. Vertcoin ( lyra2 coin and still under valued )

I bought 3 out of 5 coin you listed here. I also have 2 more good coin that I am holding that is DGB and BIX. I think these coin prices will rise a lot in the next few months so I decided to keep it instead of surfing trade. The altcoin is recovering very well with the crypto market going up, this is a good time to invest long term.

The price per coin depends on the total supply of the coin. A coin can go 10000x and still be less than $10.

If you want small marketcap, cheap coins, go to Kucoin. High risk, but super high reward. You can miss 5 times and hit once and you'll end up better off than just slowly growing.

My picks are DBC, SNOV, PRL, QLink.

actually, I am little confused to determine the coin because there are too many coins that will profitable for a long term and it attracts me to invest all of the coins even for a small amount. to be honest, this attracts me to become greedy to buy all cheap coins because I see in the coinmarketcap, I think more than 10 coins that will give us a big profit for a long term. but I think I will more selective to choose what the coin is so I don't have to spend much money to buy the coins.

true but not to invest in those coins for long term. one could easily invest in them when they are showing the potential of rise or to be more accurate when the pumping starts.

POWR is looking good to me as a long-term holding. I know it's already come a long way...  but I think renewable energy is only going to become more and more relevant, and they are a very professional team with good connections - making this a solid long-holder.

you should look into EDO, PKT, BLUE, and HAT .... all of them are amazing and showed a great run on price and marketcap...


Try XRP or XLM for long term investment...

Monetha (MTH) is a great investment, it is not x10 or x100 is a week but it will grow steadily
Also if you considering long hold, consider (ITNS) Intense coin. It is a privacy coin and we all know that privacy coins will be a hit in 2018. It has a low coin cap. Price is jumping between 300-200sat so its relatively cheap (i bought it at 30 sat so good for me , i could sell it now and make x10 but i will hold it for long term).

ETH - ethereum for long term investment, 2018 will be nice for it.
WAVES - for now, the price stayed in low levels but trust me it will boom somewhere. It's a decentralized exchange project.
BET - Casino protocol project, a hidden gem. When the time comes, it will be $1 easily.

EDO, AVT, UTK, APPC, BIX are the perfect choice for you to invest this year as the trading volume of these 5 altcoins is really good and I am sure in the near future it will soon reach $ 10 and we can make a good profit

I think about a coin under 1$ which is with no doubt undervalued. Look at Goldcoin GLD.
With a circulating supply of 40Mln with a max supply of 72Mln by 2093, it is a real hidden gem.

I can only suggest SPACECHAIN which got SpaceX investor, hotmail, badu & skype founder, qtum founder and other great guys in their team and its currently at the lowest price it will ever be.

Its basically ETH of space but cheap. Only cheap can go up HIGH. It will cost ten times this when whitepaper, huge partnerships, spaceOS, new exchanges, new website, first satellite launches in world wide media are announced.

For Altcoins under $10, I totally agree with OMG and would add VTC as well.  If looking at Altcoins under $1, I highly recommend VIB

Exchanger that offer shares of their trading fees should be in your bucket, will give you return right until cryptocurrency replaced by something else maybe, the best of all seems to be KuCoin not only your earn more KCS you KCS value will increase everyday as its values keep increasing and you also earn some other coin they offer in their exchanger, some of newer token and coin which shares their business profit mostly crypto based bank and also gold backed token with token that share their gold business fees and profit is a good bet for very long hodling as well (Hellogold Goldx, MNTP, onegram OGC)

There are many significant altcoins now and for me to think that there will be a better and better ICO's are launching now because they are improving the qualities of the first altcoins that have its weaknesses.

In my observations if you saw that almost in every ICO there is a comparison charts. That is the way how new ICo are trying to do make it better. But in the current altcoins also my list to top 5 will be CND, THETA, AiON, WANchain and this one i am promoting Policy network. I am not advising to buy it here its only my list.

Expanse and Tokenlab should definitely be on that list. Expanse is currently $4.71 with the potential to reach $50-100 per coin this year. Tokenlab was 10 cents at ICO with the potential to reach $5-10 per coin this year.

Hmmm in my opinion you can wait a little bit, not sure it's still a good buy at $20.

At this time Walton is up +32%, better to avoid buying for the moment.

But if you love the coin and trust the technology, and if you intend to keep it for longterm then you can!  ;)

+ Protocol parameters. (Event creation fee, report deposit, ...).

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.
