Hi guys can you please teach me how to sell tokens from myetherwallet?

Give me some legit sites and good for trading/selling tokens or altcoins.
And how much fee do we need to trade/sell my tokens?

you can use etherdelta.com for ethereum tokens. and you can use bittrex.com and poloniex.com

you can sell them through etherdelta. Its safe and secure. Or you can send them to exchanges such as tidex or bittrex, cryptopia or any other which you trust.

You can transfer your BTC and ETH to Coinbase and sell your coins for fiat if thats what you're into.  There are fees associated with the sale and it is likely recognized income in your country for tax purposes.  If you live in the US, my understanding is that they have to send you a 1099-MISC if the sale is for more than $600 USD.

You can also try to sell locally.  Unless you live in a major city you will wait a bit longer and its kind of a hassel.  You are still responsible to claim it as income when you file your taxes but you won't receive a 1099-MISC.  

Will be watching this thread if someone can give a step-by-step guide on how to sell eth token to an exchange. I'm holding some eth tokens but haven't done the actual selling of it on an exchange. Like how can I transfer an eth token to an exchange? What address will I use for example in bittrex/poloniex to transfer a specific token.

Sorry I'm a noob when it comes to eth tokens as I just ignored those before. Now, I'm seeing the importance of them.  :'( By the way, I have balance in my MEW so no worries about the gas thing.

just open etherdelta, idex etc(depends on your token market) and copy deposit address, deposit, and start trading

You set up an account on that exchange, then it varies from site to site, but generally you navigate to the coin that you want, and then click on it, or on 'deposit' or 'generate address' ... and the exchange will then give you an address to send that coin to. If you're using ERC20 tokens, make sure that you don't just click on ETH and generate an address, because that will only work for Ethereum (and not ETH-based tokens) - you need to have an address for the exact coin that you want. If it's a big coin, then the bigger exchanges (eg Bittrex) are best, if it's a small coin these are often only on EtherDelta, which is a pain to use and you'd probably need to find an online tutorial.

You first must transfer youre coins to a exchange. You should make an account on bittrex or etherdelta like users postet before me then go to deposit and they will generate a adress where you should sent the coins. Make from my etherwallet the payment to the provided adress and you should see them into youre exchange balance. I suggest to transfer to an exchange olny the amount you what to trade and the move it back to youre personal wallet where you have the private key. It is not safe to keep money on a exchange

If you want to make a legal currency, you need to trade on the exchange where your country is, and if you want to keep investing, you can trade in binance.

When you sell tokens from your MEW account, be sure that you sent it to a correct coin/token type address. You can do that by registering an account in some cryptocurrency exchange sites that supports the tokens you have in My Ether Wallet.

Just go to Deposit and find the coin/token that matches the token you have in My Ether Wallet, and generate address. Make sure you triple check your token address before sending, or else they'll be gone before. When I transfer my tokens to Cryptopia for the first time, I was nervous.

There are two failed transactions, I just cancelled those and my tokens are still safe. When I tried it for the 3rd time, it goes in. Charge to experience. ;)

Check the current price and if you decide to sell it, import your wallet to etherdelta by providing them your private keys.
You need to transfer your tokens to etherdelta trading balance than you can sell them with current price or place a higher sell order.

Actually if you use Ledger Nano or even metamask you are in safe. Frankly I cant understand people who import their own private keys directly into etherdelta.

To the topic starter. You can use etherdelta or any exchanges where the token is listed. To check proper exchanges for the particular token use coinmarketcap.com. Search for your token and click the market link to see where it is listed at. Beware, some exchanges require the verification so you won't be able to make a withdrawal or even deposit without passing through the KYC procedure.

can u tell if we import
the private key of myethwallet in etherdelta
we lose all coins from myethwallet?
how can prevent it if already import the private key?
we can delete account or somthink?

It would have been great if we had an option inside myetherwallet to buy, sell, swap, trade, exchange or cashout the tokens but at the moment we can do it mostly on etherdelta.

I think you can get help from YouTube videos there are more videos about that you can easily learn about how to use you myetherwallet.

You need to move your tokens which you want to sell into etherdelta. or at the exchanges those tokens are listed in. There you can sell them.

The easiest exchange to use with the biggest number of new coins is EtherDelta. But i would still recommend you to check some introduction video or guide how to use it for the first time because it can be quite confusing.

exactly it is hard to explain it one by one or step by step watching some videos in youtube and good thing cause there is a lot of choices and videos that for this generation of taking this currency is having a lot of option for.

Base on what I've searched and experienced, etherdelta is the site where you can sell your tokens safely.

You can use shapeshift if you want it directly and quick.

First check if the tokens are listed on any exchange. Binance is the top exchange in the world now and it offers the cheapest trading fee.

If not, EtherDelta is the place where you can sell your tokens. Be careful with your order in ED as more often than not people make mistakes. Check out online tutorial on how to use ED. Always pay attention to the name on the site as ED was hacked recently.

etherdelta is the best and most good to take your tokens for , when i started this is what i have been used for. watch it how in youtube on how you are able to that step by step cause it is hard to explain this is more good for if you may watch it .

when the coin is still in myetherwallet the easiest step is to sell in etherdelta, so I think etherdelta is a good market as myetherwallet partner to serve as a good sales market.

Most convenient site to use would be etherdelta.If you really want to transact through selling of your tokens then you must have at least some eth to gas up your transaction.Ask some friends on how to trade well.

you can use etherdelta, do not forget to directly import wallet, because it will become easier and simpler, etherdelta also included as one of the low cost exchange. but must make sure its etherdelta website is correct, as there are so many fake websites now

You should check coinmarketcap first for the token you want to sell and see which market where the token is traded the most, after that you should make an account om the exchange and deposit the token there. If you want to sell it on etherdelta then it easy, just import your private key and open the token page to deposit and sell the token, just make sure you are using the right site.

I will start my comment from your last question. If you are selling any erc 20 token, it is a matter of compulsion that you have ether in your new wallet before you can send your token to any exchange.

go to etherdelta it is one of those major exchange platforms and almost all the tokens are listed there and they continuously updating from time to time, I also use coinexchange whenever I feel laggy about etherdelta but overall they are both good though for me their fees are still expensive.

You can sell all erc20 tokens on etherdelta, the only problem is liquidity for smaller token so you should look up coinmarketcap first to see other place to sell your tokens. You only need to pay the fee for moving your token from your wallet to exchange deposit address and it's not big, maybe around 0.001 eth.

Etherdelta would be the best choice if you in a rush.
But if ever your altcoins reports that they will be added to another where it could be traded to bitcoin then I would suggest you wait.
Whenever they hit another exchange they grew in value. Most of their next step is Yobit, Hitbtc and Poloniex.

I think the best to sell your tokens is on Etherdelta.com because it safe and quick transaction. But you should have a gas to sell it either you sell it or direct sell. Direct sell is very quick but the value is low a bit than sell then you to set it and wait it whos going to buy it takes weeks to be buy in sell. Goodluck

Their are many options to sell your myetherwallet tokens and you can sell them at etherdelta or if some coins are launched in other exchanges then you can transfer your coins that exchange and sell them.

Etherdelta is the best preferred exchange to sell your myetherwallet coins as mostly all mew coins list there before listing on any exchange. You can sell at other exchanges also if any coin list at other exchange.

We will be able to sell and buy erc20 tokens very easily soon, you don't have to register or give any personal information. There are lots of trading projects about erc20 tokens.

If you are using myetherwallet for your erc20 tokens you can use etherdelta.com to trade your tokens there.

You have to buy eth buddy and you don't have to worry because you don't need to buy a whole.  Most of MEW tokens can be sold on EtherDelta but good luck using it because it is very slow and complicated.

first you cannot sell token without having any eth in your wallet because during the transaction you will have to pay for gas which will be charged from you eth so if you dont have any eth then you cannot sell. secondly etherdelta is the best exchanger to sell altcoin. the site is very good all you need to do is to carefully import your MEW using your private key. ones this is done then you can deposit your token to etherdelta wallet then sell it by placing sell order. then withdraw back eth from etherdelta to MEW

First thing you have to do is keep an etherium eventhough small amount in  your wallet if you want to sell or send any token to another wallet or exchanger. Etherium is needed to pay the gas fee. No etherium so you can not sell your token.

Firstly you have to know which exchange that token tradeable and you can look for that in coinmarketcap , and then to send the token from myetherwallet to the any exchange should be any balance of ETH 0.01 for transaction fee and to pay gas fee. But mostly ERC20 tolen tradeable in Etherdelta exchange, and to trade in this exchange also should be any balance of ETH to pay gas fee.

Why ask this question here? Stop being too lazy man. Do your homework. Believe me, it is best for you. Because the stuff you learn about stay in you and you alone will be the one that will benefit from it. All these people giving answers and spoon feeding you are not really helping you in any way. Basically, you can't sell tokens in MEW. It's advisable to go for trading sites that don't offer fees for placing orders like KuCoin.

It is better to use Ethereum Wallet. It has more functions and possibilities comparing to MyEtherwallet, Metamask and many other ordinary online wallets. Try to explore Ethereum Wallet.

You can import your myetherwallet account to etherdelta. It depends also on what exchange developers make the token exchange available. But for me, I have not yet tried any other platform. Etherdelta is the trusted one I can offer.

You can access your own MEW wallet using ether delta, there might be some fees each move you made in it but it is a user friendly exchange platform where most of ICO's are targeting to get listed. Just make sure that you will always check on your account.

I must correct you, NO ACCOUNT WAS HACKED. Etherdelta's website in itself was NEVER HACKED, so the site itself is still 100% secure!

What happened with Etherdelta was that THE REGISTRAR where the domain etherdelta.com was registered was hacked and the hacker changed the configuration so that etherdelta.com would point to his fake server rather than the original official one.

So, when some users (only for about 4-5 hours) didn't realize that something was strange and the look of the website was different (no chat button and no Twitter feed) they still deposited and traded, but it ended up sending their money or tokens to the hacker instead.

Once Etherdelta staff regained access to the domain registrar's record and changed the DNS back to the server it was meant to be the emergency was over.

Why am I so sure of what am I saying?

For two reasons:

1) I am hosting provider myself so I know what I am stating

2) I saw what was happening that day with my own eyes and I spotted that something was fishy, luckily the staff had already realized that when I thought about contacting them and was resolving it.

So, Etherdelta site's code, in itself, is 100% safe and NO ACCOUNT was hacked. It was only the unaware users who, unfortunately, fell victims of this evil plan.

etherdelta now has a problem.

etherdelta is a bad exchanges need a lot fee to transaction there
and it take a lot of time to process your transaction. etherdelta is not good.

First you need ETH in MyEtherwallet or EtherDelta for initiate any trade. This is required for trading fee it must be at least .005ETH or more. You may take it on loan from any friend or may buy from coinbase/eth.remitano.com through fiat currency.

Many have said that etherdelta has been compromised. Ever since the DNS hack to their website things have started to change. Last i read they were now holding an Etherdelta ICO. Sheesh. Any other alternatives for trading tokens aside from there?

first check your token is already in the list where token sell, i recommended on etherdelta but i do not know now etherdelta still no interruption or not, but i recommended this
and for your own fee depending on the gasprice you use, I first sell in my etherdelta deposit 0.01eth to sell my token. and 0.01 / 0.02 ethereum I think is enough for initial capital token token sell sells that you sell has a minimal price you get a profit from tokens that you sell 0.01ethereum or more ranges.
and if you do not have balance ethereum you can borrow your friend and return it or you search in faucet / in your own way. that's my experience when first selling token and might help you

If i know it true, you can sell ol of your tokens to Etherdelta. It is much safer than exchange markets and the rates will be more good for your pocket. You can try it to sell your tokens easily.

maybe before they may start to take that exchange for they must have some gas for like me what i really wanted and my friend told me before i may take to encash my token firstly i need to have some gas so that its i need to provide it but i really need to work on it.

I can't feel that I'm safe when I am using etherdelta. They have a lot of issue in securing they decentralized exchange. They have also a history of hacke last year, so use this platform with caution. I am using always a new eth wallet address to be safe also.

I used to work with BestChange site there it is possible to choose a currency pair and exchange platform with best price. I used some platforms. Never had any problems with exchanges. Try to look on BestChange.com

You can use EtherDelta. EtherDelta and MyEtherWallet are nested applications and in this case the accumulation in the wallet is transferred to the EtherDelta.

I personally think best way to sell of myetherwallet is creating new trading wallet on it. Copy its private key and use only that address on etherdelta, you will pay more fees but feel secure.

You can not sell your tokens from your myetherwallet. You can only transfer your coins to some other exchanges to sell your tokens or transfer your tokens. Such as Binance, kucoin and so on. Many exchanges are very famous, you only need to register your account, then you free to buy and sell. good luck.

I saw it was an old subject. There were many people who proposed the etherdelta in advance. It is no longer a stock exchange as old as the etherdelta. Bad problems such as constant hacking are encountered. You can use idex instead of etherdelta :)

ethereum is not necessarily needed becase if you are trading or selling your tokens you just need to put your tokens to etherdelta so that you can trade it in the trading book and then you will receive ethereum

After an ICO is done & tokens are released, next step is to ... which can also be checked on MyEtherWallet aka MEW.

Ill think it depends to your token in where be will listed on the market, And the fee for that depending on how manay token you need to transfer in the market and trade it to change a etherium or bitcoin. But if you don't have etherium maybe just ask to the others to receive your's etherium for gas and if you use etherdelta was using them also etherium for trading.
