Title: Any good faucets for cheap altcoins?
Post by: HotCold on September 22, 2017, 04:42:56 PM
I was wondering if there were any faucets for very cheap coins that pay well. The idea is that I'll get them while they're cheap and hope they increase in value. Please share any such faucets here.

the faucets give only a very small amount of coins. look for airdrops. i can recommend the Ethereum Dark Airdrop. Very easy to handle and the price is going up. free money.

I'm specifically looking for ones that give a large amount of a new coin or a coin that isn't worth much. 1000 of a coin may only be worth $0.01 but if that price doubles, then every previous claim would have been worth $0.02.

Dont do faucets dude. It is not good anymore and because of the high fee, there are not many faucets anymore. People have moved to other places to work for money. They write blog and open their own website instead of running a faucet. If you want to earn money with bitcoin, learn some skills. Do not expect people to give you free money

I dont think that there are some, which would give you a good profit. Faucets are useless really, it is better to look up for some bounty campaigns on this forum.

Even I was looking for some, but couldn't find any. I know what you mean with cheap altcoins. Like initially when Bitcoin faucets used to give 3-5 Bitcoins, but they had no value. And now 1 Bitcoin is worth around $4000. If you find any, do update it here.

Faucets wouldn't be worth doing if there was an alternative that you could use to make some money.

I use the faucet of eobot. There you can gain several cheap coins like BCN, Doge, GNT and many more. The withdraw minimums are quite low.

Only website that I can advice for you is Faucethub.io. Except Bitcoin, they have following coins: bch, eth, ltc, doge, blk, dash, peercoin and primecoin. Well, I can't call these coins as very cheap, but it's better than nothing. And all coins have fallen after recent China news, so now it's much cheaper and I think it's good time to earn some coins before they will rise again.
You hardly can find legit faucets for other coins. And about new coins - their devs prefer to organize bounty campaigns and airdrops sometimes instead of making faucet.

Personally, I have to agree with most of the posters here who say you should not waste your time on faucets. You stand to gain a lot more cheap tokens and alts from doing work on this forum and earning from bounties. However, I will add that being listed on a number of faucets does add to the alt's credibility and distribution.

I only entered crypto very late this year but last year I remember collecting Dogecoins for fun. They used to give 10 to 100 of them easily and I could collect a few thousand a day. If I had changed them when they were 120 satoshi a few months back, I would have had almost 0.1 BTC now. So I get your strategy.

My choice of faucets with a lot of coins: cryptoguru.

Yeah like some people above saying, trying to discover some altcoins that are cheap at the moment, BUT with nice future potential to increasing the prices would be a wise thinking.

While many recommend faucets from FaucetHub, BUT keep in mind that quite number of faucets from Faucet hub are low security sites that might include malware (Personal Information Spyware/Secret Brower Miner(That secretly sucks up your power of CPU/GPU) and so on.
Never forget malware or spyware kept turned on when using a faucet. And installing one of "Mining Blockers" from google chrome extension is a nice choice too.

There's a NOTE: What I mean is NOT Faucet Hub itself is bad, rather EACH FAUCET run by each individual faucet owner, connected to Fauct Hub, should be carefully watched BEFORE taking an action without checking it over enough.

This article made to inform "Great Altcoins around on the internet"(Ethereum, Dash, Litecoin,BCH, Dogecoin faucets) and only proven legit sites listed.
