How will this project have funds if ICO does not exist? I think this kind of coin is too fast to die right now

The team would have assets from the premine if the coin becomes valuable. The premine seems to be 4%, but I don't see a roadmap or whitepaper at the moment. This used to be the old school approach when it came to cryptocurrencies, but id technology wasn't great longevity wasn't guaranteed and indeed many would die out. Scrypt as an algo choice doesn't seem very good for that purpose at the moment as it's primarily dominated by ASICs.

Wallet icon is a wallet builder icon, so beware of possible lack of node in 5 days or less unless this was a paid for coin through them.

Hi, you need to create a config file.
Read https://ournea.org/get-onea/ (https://ournea.org/get-onea/) or read at the FAQ at the startpage.

Hi, if you are not see it in the overview or in transactions it sounds strange.
Are you connected to the network? You should have a greenmark in the left down corner, see so it confirmed all blocks (see the current block here: https://cryptogods.net/explorer/ONEA/ )

Else give me a message in private and i will help you solve it, have a nice day!

As Alani said we have a 4% premine and we see this as a long-term project, we are enthusiasts that working on this project beside our ordinary daytime jobs.
Our current roadmap you see here: https://ournea.org/#roadmap
We are working on attracting more users (both developers and miners) but also other partners to be in alliance with.
Our whitepaper is currently be written and will be pulished soon.

We are taking old school approach, will let this currency and blockchain grow overtime.

Thank you for your understanding!

Problems with mining on Cempool. The website says for the last 12 hours:

"We are investigating issues in the backend. Your shares and hashrate are safe and we will fix things ASAP.
Payouts disabled, you will not receive any coins to your offline wallet for the time being"

Contacted admin about this but got no reactions.

Hi Reiniere, let me know if this issue is not resolved. If they should be listed as a partner and a serious pool provider they should fix the issue and also respond to their customers. Let me know else i will unlist them and warn others about them. We are sorry to hear this and i'm worried if they say that "Payouts disabled" and they not respond nor fix the problem.

I made some research and the owner of the domain is kcembulut@gmail.com, maybe you can send email directly? Maybe quicker response.
The owner Cem Bulut (Citizen of Turkey, Ankara) owns 11 domains according to whois domain lookup and are not using domain protection proxy to hide identity.

Keep me updated regarding this!

Best Regards

Hi Oneadev,

Thx for looking. It is indeed strange. The other CEMpools are working fine so it's unclear why there should be
an issue with ONEA. I will keep monitoring themon this but for the moment its seems preferrable to mine
on the mining pool pickaxe.online.

Good luck,

No problem with CEMpool (ONEA). Hashrate and payout worked too.
The diff. is very hard on this coin over 32M (Actual Shares) and that is the main problem...  ;)

Hi Guys,

A good choice would be to include ONEA on Tradesatoshi.Voting for listing is very cheap (1 doge)
there compared to Crypt and Nova and it is an excellent exchange.
Shall I make a request for ONEA to be added to the voting-list there ?

Good luck,

Hi ONEADev,

I just registered  on Stocks.Exchange. I had never heard from it and I have seen lots of
cryptocoin exchanges. Is this exchange safe enough for trading ?  I have juts logged and
they don't have any account security settings like email and 2FA for login and withdrawal.

Please try to avoid Yobit and C-CEX though. Those are really disastrous exchanges for new coins.

there that they are complete trustworthy and have a really good visited and working exchange.

ONEA got listed on coinsmarkets but unfortunately they got listed at the moment that there were problems
there (i think with mouse wallets) and therefor they stopped trading for a certain time. When they are back
you will be able to trade ONEA there again.  Besides that ONEA is up for vote on TradeSatoshi so you can
vote there to get the coin listed. Here is the link:  https://www.tradesatoshi.com/Vote

BTW: I saw that until now nobody has voted for the coin besides myself.

BTW: I saw that until now nobody has voted for the coin besides myself.

good luck,
reiniere.

Thanks for understanding, but we are trying to apply and contact more Exchanges to get listed.
However, i'm not willing to pay a fortune to get listed on an Exchange. Many of the Exchanges required like 1-5 BTC to get listed, for those prices i can build my own Exchange, get listed and get trade volume!

Best Regards
ONEA Dev

I am having issues with syncing my windows wallet.  I am 20 hours behind.

I did setup the ONEA.conf as listed in the FAQs section on the .org website, and it was working up until yesterday when my first mining haul arrived.  Now it just sits at unconfirmed 582.xxxxx.  There should be more after that.

I have tried deleting the peers.dat and re-launching the app, that did not work. Additionally, I deleted all files out of the ONEA directory except the ONEA.conf and the wallet.dat and re-launched.  It resynced data up to the 20 hours behind mark again.

FYI, I do show "8 active connections to the ONEA network".

If this has been asked and answered already, I'm sorry.  I did look for some time before posting.

Additional Information.

I used two different mining pools.

Pickaxe
cempool

it seemed to stop at 2338 on cempool, so I switched hash over to pickaxe at that point.  Currently mining has been halted.

Possible fork?

Hi All,

Hi Reiniere and the community, now i have explanation on what happend.

Explanation (Wallet - Syncing with network!)
Our difficulty is quite high because someone (big player) mined like crazy on 28/9 and then after that droped out the mining.

A blockchain can get stuck when the difficulty rises.
The difficulty is calculated (target timespan / target spacing) every couple of blocks based on the used mining power.

When the mining power drops the difficulty remains the same for a couple of blocks.
We need more time to mine the next block or more mining power.

We won't have this issue when our blockchain becomes stable.
We can do this by attracting more miners or mine more blocks.

Just keep mining and get the miningpower up! :)

Nothing to worry about, nothing wrong with your wallet or the blockchain!
Have a nice day community, thanks for understanding!

I was the "Big Player", Sorry. Did not know the ONEA blockchain was so fragile.

So, Looks like everything I mined on pickaxe went into the void. I have reduced hashrate considerably and switched back to cempool.com, where I received coins from already.  Not sure what is up with Pickaxe, but apparently they made a killing of my hashrate.

We recommend to withdraw your ONEA from the https://Stocks.Exchange (https://Stocks.Exchange) if you have anything in your wallet there or in that Exchange.
I got notice from their admin that they will unlist ONEA because of low trading volume so i would recommend to withdraw to your wallet.

If you want to trade/sell/buy ONEA we recommend https://coinsmarkets.com (https://coinsmarkets.com)!
Sorry for this (not my decision but the descision of admins of Stocks Exchange).

Hi, i tried to contact other Exchanges (sent Email to every Exchange listed on CoinMarketCap 24h/tradevol) but it's hard and takes time for them to respond.
I encourage you (our community) to help us get listed at more Exchanges, together we can make our way in to other Exchanges.

Other update:

We will publish Whitepaper this weekend and we are currently working on Wordpress Payment Gateway for e-Commerce (WooCommerce) that will be released in a few days. Then all e-Commerce shops that using WooCoomerce can accept ONEA as payment. We are also developing one for Joomla aswell.
Also there is other big news on the way. Keep following this thread, follow our Facebook page or visit our homepage regularly!

[Small update - 2017-10-06]
I thought i post before someone start asking questions.

Reason why you get (Syncing with network) in wallet now is because:
Our difficulty is quite high and the mining/hashing power is quite low now.

Sadly i have to a abandon this project because of personal reasons. But i would be glad to see anyone that want to run this project or take the blockchain further to do so.

All files are available on this server, so anyone can run the project further:
http://165.227.164.167 (http://165.227.164.167)

I will let anyone be able to download the files from the server above until 2017-11-30 (end of november)

What will happend now:
The 4 nodes i've been hosting will be taken offline. Would recommend someone to setup a node/several nodes if you want to keep to run the blockchain.

www.OurNEA.org domain/homepage will be taken down and be available for anyone to buy.

CryptoGods blockexplorer will be shutdown (so someone need to setup a new blockexplorer if you want to keep track of blocks and such)

Facebook page will be deleted.

I'm really sorry for this, but i give the opportunity for anyone to host/take this blockchain further. So i'm not just leaving this to die.

Hi guys,
Please note that the block explorer and wallet will remain active for the duration of the service contract (one year).
The wallet, in addition to managing the block explorer, also works as a node.
I hope someone can relaunch this project.

That's unfortunate, however it would not be the first coin that had been picked up by new developers and then grew. I think it has potential, being already listed on exchanges and mining pools. That's both a major step. Now the community would have to kick in and drive it further.

For a start, I got all the remaining existing data and files from the dev site before it goes down. Let's see what to make from here.

It's still a very young crypto with all major milestones already in place, wallet, blockschain, pools, an exchange and a couple of active users. Now I'd say lets turn the tides around and make that a community.

Anyone interested? :)

The original developer ceases all rights and any claims on the original ONEA coin.

First things first, the original source code is up again on Github an can be found here.
https://github.com/x805/ONEA

Unfortunately the website as well as the original Github account were supposedly abandoned, and the original dev still keeps his amount of pre-mined coins. I was asking to get at least 100k for airdrops but haven't heard from him again.

More to come :)

Well, things could go well. We could do an airdrop or better 2 or 3, I would cost some coins, those were calculated in the original supply. The original dev however dropped out.

So my request to the original Dev would be to release 100, maybe 500k of coins for airdrop, of which he will benefit of the value of the coins later on.

So let's be straight, this coin was created from someone we don't know. It is traded on an exchange and people can mine it. Very low blocks, 7300, and it is scrypt.

That is the best thing today :)

Looks like the baby picks up some steam! Mining active again. Great!

There is no ICO, why you guys are so crazy about these things? :)

The coin is pretty much mineable, there is low supply, we are only at block 73xx now. Or you can buy some at coinsmarkets.com.

There will be no ICO.

cempool.com is dead. THey had a crash today as it appears. Logins are no longer possible.

Which leaves us with one mining pool. pickaxe.online

The same thing happened as before. Someone with high hashing power drove up the difficulty and then left.

So the blockchain is stuck, unless someone with equally high hashing power comes back and mines the next block. So this may well be a lost case.

Hi MadMac,

I was an early miner at Onea. It seemed a very interesting new coin.
There indeed appeared a big miner who drove up the difficulty in only a couple
of times making mining unprofitable very fast.

What will happen now ? Can you still send ONEA coins or is everything stuck ?

good luck,
reiniere.

You can not do anything with it in the moment as the blockchain is stuck. Someone with high hashpower made it impossible to mine any more blocks for the few of us who do not have the power to compete with the current difficulty. Simply said, you can mine for a month or two or so now to perhaps create one block, maybe longer, if ever.

Unless this changes there will be no more transactions, no confirmations and the coin is basically dead in the water.

Seems some more people tried to mine some ONEA at Cempool. Difficulty sits at 260 without any miner in the moment. So if you want to mine something, there are all the coins of the world to gain, very low supply, we just need to overcome that difficulty problem that was introduced and the coin can be mined again easily. Please don't throw huge hashpower at it after the 260 go down, it does not make any sense without competition.

We are now at block 7517, that is still very low. So if someone wants to mine, that may be an easy target, just need to get down the difficulty wall.

The whole Cempool operation appears to be down. So one mining pool left. http://pickaxe.online

I can try to reduce the difficulty. But I only have 150 MH. How does the difficulty change? And I need a pool

I invite  for mining coins. I reduced the difficulty. Now 23. Let's return the coin to life!

Sempool is an excellent pool. There were problems with payments, everyone quickly decided.

They do not answer. My account is locked for no reason, it says should follow an email, that they never send and the chat is just anautomatic  scam, nobody really reading or answering it.

Cempool is down since yesterday. So is mining for this coin. Pickaxe dropped it already. We reached a dead end.

All pools are down, the coin is not mineable anymore.

So we can declare this officially dead now.
