Title: Where to start?
Post by: Boelens on May 30, 2013, 08:19:43 PM
hey! I want to buy an affordable miner that earns back itself in a decent time frame, my electricity costs are 0.35$, where would I be able to buy these? Or do I have to build it myself?

High electric rates and an ever-increasing difficulty means you're going to want to look at ASICs.

You're got BFL, but speaking as a customer of theirs for years now, don't expect your hardware anytime soon. They do make really nice products, tho.

You could get a DIY or K16 kit with Avalon chips, but those are about 3 months out.

Third and final option is ASICMiner devices. They sell a blade for 50BTC, or a little USB device for 2BTC. For just getting into mining, that little USB stick is prolly your most affordable bet.
