Today let's talk about Reddcoin.

Does anyone think it is worth buying?

Why does it have such a big Volume with that low price?

I've been looking at Reddcoin for a while and the price does not fluctuate that much. Still, I just don't know about this coin.
Facebook tried its own currency for a while, which didn't work. Kik has its ICO for Kin, their own currency for users on the platform. Redd also tries to get into that market. Could be hard if they all start using their own currency.

I have no idea where the volume is coming from, so I'd like to hear the thoughts of others as well :)

I used to buy Rdd at 96 satoshi and accepted the sale when it was only 40 satoshi. And it continues to drop to 23 satoshi. Although then it increased to 31 satoshi and continued to decrease. I really did not dare to buy Rdd, it made me distrust. Even today I look at Rdd from 25 up to 45 satoshi I also do not regret it. Perhaps it will reduce to 30-35 satoshi and continue to increase.

I can't find any positive news about rdd, was it only a classic pump/dump or there might be some good informations ?

RDD is no scam nor pump n dump scheme. it's been around long and i think for a while there were pretty high expectations around this coin, as it aims to build decentralized social media platform with integrated system of payments. i think the large supply is actually to facilitate payments between users. development and updates have been rather slow over the last months, though, for what i could follow.

sudden rise may be related to rumors about Redd-ID release and the fact that it has been stable and in accumulation phase for weeks, so long due for a pump.
i made decent gains on it last spring and kept a small bag just in case. i think it can be decent investement for day-trades and in perspective of Redd-ID taking off, but would only aim at buying at 25-30 sats.

At current price I wouldn't say that redd is worth buying. The price will likely drop back to 25 or so and at this point I think it would be a good investment to hold for the next small pump. It is also very useful for day trading.

Because a lot of people are feeling funny to play on that such a pnd coin, I remember why the bittrex already delisted the reddcoin from there. That was not worth to buying, You must stay away or you will have trapped at the high price.

RDD is one of those coins that gives you the PoS reward thing and it has a nearly stable price which means it can be a decent investment if you want a small profit on it over time and if you are staking.

but the best profit is only when it gets pumped because the price of RDD is pretty low, any pump will be a very huge profit. right now i see little hype about it which means it can be a potential investment soon.

This is just the action pumped from the whale and it will start to dump tomorrow because this market is not appreciated by big investors. I think if you have RDD today it is best to sell out because tomorrow RDD will definitely dump

I don't think anything is going on with Reddcoin. I remember there was rumor about reddcoin becoming a reddit coin but that was just a rumor. It fluctuates very little, it's a hit or miss kind of thing. You can hold it but don't expect anything.

I never bought any rdd before. Hence I didn't know if it's worth to buy or not.
But, I just saw its chart history, and nothing special about it.
It's been months since the last ath, and now bubble is in the club and keeps decreasing.
Also no major movement, but since the price is really low, with just a little pump, we could get a big profit.

They are fighting to get into Bitfinex. This may be part of doubling cap. About rumors: there are many rumors around RDD like facebook or yt integration.

The volume comes from whales pumping and newbs buying. This coin has been notoriously hyped for with reddit rumors which have been debunked and ultimately dumped. There is a large number of bagholder newbs out there that are looking to dump as soon as the price starts to climb up to previous levels. I would personally avoid this coin.

Good to see RDD being discussed on Bitcointalk again. It's difficult finding new information on the reddcointalk site because the posts aren't sorted by date.

Hopefully the price and volume surge surge means that someone has good news that hasn't become public knowledge yet.

I think this is a pessimistic viewpoint. First you can earn a staking return merely by holding Reddcoins in your wallet unlike the vast majority of ICO tokens that just sit there . Eventually I expect one or more coins to dominate on social networks as the preferred medium for tipping: RDD, FTC, DOGE, STEEM,  I don't know which will prevail, but there could be several dogs in this race.  

Will RDD break out of its trading range in the 25M to 45M cap? It's hard to say, but if you are a current Reddcoin investor I would hold onto my shares.

It's a bullshit coin that has no utility whatsoever, but occasionally people create "topics" like this one in a blatantly manipulative effort to pump a little life into it in order to create enough interest in it so that the OP can get his buy order fulfilled.

In short, it's a zombie coin that no one uses for anything but to fleece sucker money out of the suckers.  This piece of digital detritus will fall to 1 satoshi and will be featured in yobit's free coin section eventually, believe me.  Don't be the gullible sucker who buys this, because you'll lose eventually.

I have heard a rumor that facebook is preparing a collaboration of reddcoin is this correct?

I was looking at Reddcoin lately, and I think I'm considering them to be included in my portfolio other than Siacoin, Experience Points, Dentacoin and Bytecoin. As of today, Reddcoin is at $0.02 and it does not fluctuate much. However, the world of cryptocurrency is very speculative.

I was waiting for my funds from other tokens that I've profited and from the bounties I've earned to invest in Reddcoin and other ones that I have just mentioned.

Will be holding them in the long run, maybe a year or more would be good enough for me like Tron, Electroneum and Dogecoin I have in my portfolio.

It cheap so I could throw a few hundred buck easily without having to worry.

It had a large community back in 2014. Then the developer left, they got delisted from Poloniex and nothing much has happened since. I don't think their community is as large as it used to be.

No.  It's garbage.  I've spent about a week testing the wallet and it's one of the worst.  Just like Apple, the first to succeed in Crypto will be the first to make a product that actually works as advertised.

I'm sure that the coin deserves a purchase. Especially now the price is very low. I bought a long time and now I will buy a little.

It was one of the pump/dump coins by McAfee :-/
So a lot of people got scammed by faster Bots in Bittrex etc. - They lost money with this coin- Trust is gone.

Imho - I would not buy in. But that's just my feeling.

Even though it only have a low volume coin but still can be trusted. Actually  there is no need for McAfee's help,  reddcoin have a nice market record that could be a basis for investor to put their money.

This coin is not suitable for investing. On the one hand, social networks are something very global, and attractive for monetization. On the other hand, it is not clear how long these networks will be in the trend. Therefore, he will remain at the end of this year at $ 0.03.

I am not able to see that there is a future in reddcoin . For me it will just stay on it's current price and increase a little but not be profitable for holding for a long term .

Do you need to do anyting to stake and earn rewards for holding Reddcoins? Mine are in my QT wallet at the moment.

It's currently at support at 85sats, great buy/price. Should go up to 94, 85, 125 and 145sats. Nice for a quick trade!

I don’t think so. After the present market crash, the demand will concentrate in only a few cryptocoins. I refer to the coins that are already trading for prices from 2 to 10.000 or more.

Is Dogecoin worth buying for you in your case?
Both Dogecoin and Reddcoin has a working blockchain
We can't said that they are just scamming because they have a working operating blockchain

However, for such coin to get appreciated and rise in value, adoption and partnership are important

I have some of those coins. I didn't sell it and I have gained something with it.
I will leave it more on my account, there is no need to hurry.

I think that this coin has a chance to grow to $ 1 within 2 years. It can become an everyday coin that is used by many people

Reddcoin just had a nice price spike, hopefully it will get to back to a cent, the price a bought mine for very soon.
