Title: Ethereum wallet
Post by: sara1999 on September 25, 2017, 01:13:08 PM
Hi!

Just curious to know which one you use and why..I'm looking for a wallet with reasonable fees to deposit/withdraw, that possibly has a wallet option for btc too even though this feature is not strictly necessary..

Right now I use blockchain and spectrocoin..

Thanks!

without doubt, and as it was very often said on the forum, myetherwallet is the best wallet to store ETH
In addition, we can stock up on other currency and participate in ICO!

I use MyEtherWallet because it's really convenient, don't need to download the whole blockchain and I can save the privkey easily to my hardisk.
if you are looking for cheapest fee for withdrawal or deposit, it's depend. MEW give the users option to set the fee on their own, and ofcourse they also recommend a proper fee to make transaction faster.

So, if I got you right, what you are looking for is a multi wallet. Heard of exodus ? It supports BTC and ETH along with many other altcoins, which may seem like an extra bonus for you. You can download it here: https://www.exodus.io/releases/

Agreeable, but, MEW doesn't support BTC. It was built  for the purpose of storing ethereum and other ERC20 supported tokens only. Let OP decide further.

as Eth User .. i prefer MyEtherWallet.
because many people recommend that using MEW makes you
safer. by holding your private key and i think the MEW site don't get your Private key.
but be careful only to the MEW Fake sites.  always be aware . they want to fool you just to get you Private key

The most popular ethereum wallet is no other than myetherwallet.com are you new about this wallet? And as you are asking about deposit and withdrawal fees, you should be specific with your question.

Are you looking for an exchange wallet for ethereum?

This kind of thread pops up almost every two days... People either don't know how to do research or (=>) are just so lazy (<=)
myetherwallet

MyEtherWallet

pro:
- no fees
- doesn't save your private keys
- you can easily store your Tokens there

cons:
- for every action you have to enter your password again
- adding custom Tokens info works in theory but mine where gone after reopening (just the info, my tokens were still at my address)

What most people misunderstand is that MEW is not a wallet which stores some information, its just an interface which give you the same infos as you could get from etherscan.io and additionally enables you to send ETH and other ERC20 tokens.
