It's all over the place today - BBC, CNN, etc. so choose your news platform of choice - but North Korea's foreign minister Ri Yong-ho said "The whole world should clearly remember it was the US who first declared war on our country" in response to DJT's tweets over the weekend.

The first time war has started because of Twitter... what a world.

I don't think that the war bad started because of twitter. If trump hasn't said so tough on Nort Korea, then to ably their wouldn't be any escalation in this region

Kind of stupid to believe any news you hear. If war has started, it would have already ended by now. Don't worry, there will be no world to remember who started the war. It is all just drama for the naive. Nuclear wars only go one way, everyone dies. All that these idiots are doing are either playing the stupidest game of chicken or doing a one big act for everybody. I hope that they are smart enough to see that either they will not push each other and just leave each other alone or die in a matter of minutes with the rest of the world.

I am tired of all this. If fat boy Kim and retarded Trump want war, then please go ahead and nuke each other. Let others have some peace of mind. They are making these sort of statements for the past 6 months and yet nothing has happened till now. I really think that Trump should rather look after his approval ratings, which are on a free fall.

Well like, the US did come out and say that if Diplomacy isn't going to work then they're going to have to attack North Korea-- Which is a pretty simple statement for them to make, and a logical one as well.

Plus, I don't understand how this man in NK can sit there and say that WE're declaring war, while he's sitting around telling people he's going to nuke them and nuke that. This guys a joke and should just be ignored, as I think that if the US really thought he was a threat he'd be killed or made into a puppet.

Do you know what makes this so funny to me, Its when Trump Kim Jong Un rocket man. I tell you he is the most active person on twitter in the entire he never stops does he even get any job done at all.

If it will be as the previous world wars, i dont know if north korea will actually have as many allies to actually back up its war effort. War chest alone will be insane. Now the conspiracy theory will be that US will actually do the war so for money of course.

Let's hope that it will remain in the attention grabbing mode. Fat boy Kim needs this to control his people and Trump also want to improve his approval ratings back home. But all it takes is just a small provocation, either intentionally or unintentionally to start a nuclear war. The chances are low, but we can't ignore it.

Technically the USA and Sour Korea are at war with North Korea since there has never been a peace treaty. There has only by an armstice that led to the status quo at the DMC. So as others here have said, this makes no sense at all.  8)

The world is on the verge of a big war. After such statements, it is inevitable. I'm more interested in how China will behave in this situation.

why don't they just launch each other's missile so we'll see who wins. north korea has been firing missile every now and then, why don't they try target one country to see how devastating it can be. they've been destroying seas already by doing it so they should be targeting someone that fires back. not cowardly aiming to seas.

Because there are no winners in a nuclear war. If the war begins, a global nuclear winter is a best case scenario. It is very likely that humanity will not survive it.


It won't be like previous wars. A nuclear war is very different, it is something like the life on Earth never have seen before. No allies, no tanks, no soldiers, none of it is needed. A nuclear war isn't like other wars where you have an army vs army, civilians are the target with nuclear weapons and there is no conquering of land. Once the bomb is dropped on an area, it is inhabitable for decades. This war won't be like any other wars USA fights in middle east, this one is very different. There is only one outcome of nuclear wars, these missiles are only built as a warning, saying "if we go down, everyone is coming with us", there is no actual war, it is just a massive genocide.

It is not about US that they declared war actually terrorism call them to come because US is on right because they don't want terrorism they are anti against terrorism therefore they declared war.

Does anyone think China isn't going to help North Korea if the US attacks? China would never let the USA destroy a country right on its border so that the US can then setup a military base. Fighting with
North Korea is a much bigger iss

This whole ping-pong of statements is quite ridiculous, but let's not forget that the USA has ALREADY been bombing North Corea some decades ago... but not viceversa.

They have refrained from directly attacking North Korea ever since the end of the Korean war, but there have been constant provocations in the form of military exercises and propaganda.

the united states and north korea both have an ambitious attitude, they both are looking for sensation and mutual show of strength in social media and other electronic media.
if indeed they are ready to fight, why wait ?so,no need to look for support from other countries who want peace, we all never want war, we all need peace, not war or show off power against other countries .
