Title: Opinions and suggestions on exchanges
Post by: ggnorevthx on September 26, 2017, 06:12:11 PM
I'm pretty sure this is a common topic but what are your suggestions on exchanges. I've read a lot on the web but I cant help  feeling that a lot of websiteds have biased opinions on exchanges, so what would you recommend?

I've had some contact with a couple but I'm looking for one that is trusted (especially when it comes to withdraws) and allows me to trande altcoins with altcoins (no only *insert altcoin here*/BTC).

Cryptopia allows alt-alt trading besides btc and most commonly ETH is traded on this exchange website and always withdrawals have been instant for me. The deposits also take about 15-20 minutes to show up once they get confirmed on blockchain and very rarely have I faced any issues on the website. They have an email 2FA which is why I prefer them over other exchanges and their withdrawal fee is 0.001 which is lesser compared to others.

There is Bisq, a decentralized exchange. You can always trust withdrawals, since it only uses an internal wallet where you and only you hold the private keys. It is p2p, so you can just fund a trade directly, without it even going to the internal wallet. There all hundreds of altcoins and the process of adding a new altcoin is very simple.

Bittrex.com is the way to go. Been using it for like half a year and I had no problems whatsoever. Has a big number of supported cryptocurrencies, and it has decent customer support too! As opposed to poloniex.. well, it used to be good. Now it's just a huge shitshow.

It is indeed a topic that's been done to death--you ought to search for some of them.

Coinbase is pretty reliable and legitimate, as it's a US-regulated institution.  They'll close your account quick if you use your bitcoin to gamble, and probably any other shady use, so watch out.

I've used Yobit successfully for about 2.5 years, and never had any problems with them.  I'm well aware of all the scam accusations against them, but no probs on my end.  They suck on mobile and their support is almost non-existent.  You can find pretty much every shitcoin in existence there.

Recently, I started an account with Kraken but I've only done trades there a few times.  No problems, but I can't stand their user interface for some reason.  It's just hard to use.

I've also used Poloniex with no problems, but I'm also aware that there have been dozens, if not hundreds, of scam accusations against them.  A lot of users have used them successfully.

The rest I've had no business with except Circle (RIP) and Cryptsy (also RIP).

Good luck.

This is indeed a common topic and if you would've read the threads here you'd find your answer. Find time to read because it will only benefit you also. Anyways the ones I'm using are Bittrex and Poloniex which are working perfectly on my end, those are the most commonly used exchange sites that have least problems except for Poloniex recently though, ever since the trollbox had been taken down there had been a lot of issues posted here about their withdrawals but I haven't had any problems with mine though.

Yes Cryptopia was basically the number  1 on my list

Yes I've seen a lot of people complaining about Yobit to be honest I've never had a probllem with them. Been using for about 2 years.

There is Bisq, a decentralized exchange.

Thank you, hadn't heard about that one, will check it out.

I prefer bittrex and poloniex, cause I do not trust Yobit, Cryptopia, Liqui and how they all are called. They look like the typical altcoin exchange that will disappear some time.
But of course this is only my personal oponion and of course also bittrex and poloniex can disappear...

But maybe the following project will get interesting:

Beside being optionally decentralized, I think they will also add alot of altcoin trading pairs, at least all kind of eth tokens.

There are lots to choose from.Lets start on major exchanges: Poloniex,Bittrex,Bitfinex. Minor exchanges: Liqui,Etherdelta,HitBtc,Cryptopia, coinexchange. There are lots actually it would depend on what would suits you.If you are just starting on trading field better to use those minor exchanges that i do mentioned,Less volume not too much pressure on executing trades.

For fast trading and less lag from low exchanger to high exchanger :
Coinexchange.io,this exchanger is very easy to use and basically it's zero(0) lag.but it does not have a lot volume in their trade.
other than that they're also listing a crap coin to boost their fees for their website.
Novaexchange.com,this is another exchanger like Coinexchange, you can do the trade in there easily and you can ask their mods in there live.
fast response and sociable.
Bittrex.com,a well known exchanger that listing a lot of good project so far and selectively listing a newly born project to get listed in their exchanger, their support is good enough and have a high volume.

i also doing a trade in other exchangers, but i do not list it because i and others ever had a problem with them.
before doing a trade on exchanger, make sure to read their Rules and Terms.
because some of them forbid some country or putting some restrict for certain people.

I use kraken, Bittrex and Cryptopia mainly. I stick with them as I don't like to have to create an account in several exchanges. I think 2-3 are enough as long they give you what you're looking.

What I like at Cryptopia are the pairs alt/alt. I think Kraken is the one I prefer but it's because it's the one feeding my bank account and I like how fast the process is. Bittrex is good since they have a nice volume and a huge list of coins to trade.
