Title: Transaction Not Confirming
Post by: bardi.harborow on May 31, 2013, 11:50:12 AM
Hi,

I have a transaction that is refusing to go through (5afd8e44e535f2b094db5f8f0c3bf7ee20c50943c6fe257abd7bec2a9eb52a87). It would appear I have used too low a miner's fee. What should I do?

NOTE: Transaction is only visible on http://blockchain.info/tx/5afd8e44e535f2b094db5f8f0c3bf7ee20c50943c6fe257abd7bec2a9eb52a87

Afaik you could do a double spend with fee, but there is a bit of work involved to do that.
The Bitcoins are still on the old address, because they are not confirmed in a block yet, but your client knows that you have already sent them and doesn't list them as aviable anymore.

What wallet did you use to send the bitcoins.  The best process to handle the situation depends on which wallet was used to send it.
