Title: Bitcoin Visa/Master card - is there a need for a new one.
Post by: zzert1234 on September 27, 2017, 11:19:46 AM
There is a few Bitcoin visa/master cards offerings/ICOs out there. I wonder is there a need for another one, i.e is the market big enough to need this ?

Also I believe there was some VISA restrictions for blockchains ( outside Europe) not sure the status of that.. https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-debit-cards-non-european-residents-visas-new-rules/  Has anyone gotten such card outside EU ?

Unfortunately, most Bitcoin debit or prepaid cards are only available for European Residents. There are only few offered for USA, such as BitPay, Cryptopay and Shift. These are the only ones I know myself. Haven't heard of any other coins featuring the usage of debit cards however. You'll find more information about them in the following thread and website

if in my country there is no bitcoin master card, but this is one very good idea and good for the development in each country, in order to simplify the use of bitcoin in shopping goods, I really like and wait for it to exist in my country.
