Title: gmail account weirdness
Post by: pekv2 on May 31, 2013, 04:04:41 PM
Obviously, google themselves can access your gmail account without you knowing. I've checked the IP details, all IP's match my IP's, nothing unusual, something I check often. Either A) There was mishap with google mail service or B) My account got subpoenaed, and emails copied to elsewhere.

I found a boat load "75-80" of my archived emails, in my sent folder. Weird.

Had anyone else noticed anything weird with their gmail account?

Edit:
This was noticed, week ago or so.

I don't say that would stop google abiding by a subpoenae. Or google mail service having a mishap.

I'm not to worried as I have absolutely nothing to hide, I just find it really really odd. I might hop over to google groups.

No google can still do whatever they want,I just wanted to know if you are using 2factor authentication or not, if your mail is not secure and someone else (someone you know) who have password can do that.

or

Probably you left your mail open and someone else in your home/office did that by mistake.
