We know that Bittrex and Poloniex are the most sought after exchangers.
But I want to know which one is best to trade? and I want to know why.

I've been trading on both exchanges and traded a lot of times. Most of my trades came from Poloniex because they've got the good coins. But i experience a lot of problems on that exchange. These are the following:

1. Attacks on their network are too often cause the site unavailable or busy because of the attacks.
2. It's now a centralized exchange.
3. 2FA bypass security flaw. Some were saying even if you are 2FA enabled. You can still withdraw your funds.

Bittrex is good uprising exchange. I've been trading there for months but not a lot. But so far, I've never encountered any problems at that exchange. I would definitely chose Bittrex over Poloniex. Because it is operating very well. Bittrex just not added other good coins.

I think there are already many topics about it.
Anyway, I am using bittrex exchange from the last 5 months and I am quite happy with their services.I never faced any problems using bittrex.I will choose bittrex because their customer support is very good and response quickly.I guess bittrex has much security than poloniex.Bittrex is surrounded by SSL so I can relaxed about my funds and personal information.

I am using bittrex and poloniex also, I like both of site.but bittrex has some advantage, Its add all of new coins but poloniex didnot do it earlier. poloniex is good for her volume but bittrex is good for a lot of coin list.I like to use both platform.

I have accounts on both the exchanges and they both are good. At present I have more holdings on Bittrex and I prefer it more. I feel Bittrex is more secure as compared to Poloniex. That is why when I have to invest some major amount, I go for Bittrex.

Bittrex and Poloniex were a great exchanger that used to be,
a months a go they're standing equally but everything changed when poloniex starting a shady activity.
both of them were the better exchanger for traders to trade their altcoins and else,
Bittrex is very easy to use,smooth and less lag.
their withdrawal process is very easy and fast other than else.
Poloniex is a complex exchanger but offering a lot of features something like Margin,lending and else.
but lately they did something unusual like unclosed margin,withdrawal issue and some of them had a problem with their deposit.

for them who does not have any issue doing the trade on poloniex,it's a good place for doing the trade.
has a high volume and responsive chart,unlike Bittrex(sometimes their charts fucked up).
but a lot of people moved their assets to Bittrex and other exchangers because a lot of people complained about their service and their support.
when you have a problem with them(poloniex),more likely you will get ignored by them for a few days and sometimes they will reply your ticket after a week or more than that.

me? i use Bittrex

Bittrex is working smoothly and flawless so far. They didn't face any srysis, but poloniex has serious problems. Some withdrawals are not being processed and money is lost simply. They never reply tickets of their customers. Don't use poloniex.

I like Poloniex interface, but there are to many negative reviews about their support, so i chose Bittrex - interface is also very smart, a lot of tokens are listed and good volume for trading. And the main thing for me is safety - im sure that i won`t loose my money wnen they are on bittrex, but remebmer if you just holding - send your tokens to the wallet

Bittrex is too annoying. They ask you for your real name, real place of birth, phone number, real address... if anything is wrong, your account gets rejected (they check against public records) and they will ask for an SMS confirmation message.

I don't want to trade against fiat, only against other cryptos. Why do I need to risk giving personal information to some altcoin exchange when I don't want to interact with the banking system? I just want to trade between fiats.

So I stick to Poloniex because they don't ask you for all these details. I just don't trust exchanges enough to give them my real data, who knows where that would end.

I hate Poloniex, I don't know exactly why. I find the UI is irritating me. I logged 2-3 times and it's enough for me. Add the stories here and there with people having problems with them....
Bittrex is a good one, everything is ok, the only thing is I don't like the black color and my account has been compromised one-time several months back

I prefered poloniex, cause the interface looks much better.
But few months ago problems started at poloniex with incredible delays and timeout errors when trying to place orders.
Also support responses took very long.

When poloniex was not usable at all anymore, because of the delays, I switched over to bittrex.
Everything works fine and the support was very fast, meanwhile it is also slow (because of all new customers), but it is still fast enough (few days).

I can not explain it, but I have the feeling that poloniex looks much more professional, while bittrex is more amateur. So I would trust poloniex with bigger sums, than I do with bittrex.
Poloniex is useable again, but sometimes there is still small delay, therefore I stick more to bittrex for now.

I like trading in Bittrex. I started here only so for me it becomes very easy to trade and very fast transactions can happen. Sometimes they will do some uninformed maintenance that will make me angry, but it is ok it's common in all exchange sites. Poloniex also I tried, but for me, it is not comfortable. You register on both sites and check where you comfortable there you can trade. But both are good sites.

I'm trading at Bittrex. But I also have a Poloniex account. I tried to trade on both exchanges, but Bittrex seemed to me more convenient. I like the convenient interface of this exchange

Please search before you post or make a thread, this question was asked here for many times.
But to know poloniex has some problems, there was many scam accusation threads where people claimed that they weren't able to withdraw money, it's more likely of yobit's situayion, started well but are going to end worst.
Personally I use bittrex and prefer that over poloniex.

Both are good you should not say something about another just the thing is that bittrex is more easiest and there taxes are less than Poloniex account so i would prefer to trade in bittrex. Because it is more easiest than Poloniex.

I chose Bittrex safer and have not had any serious problems. the movement of coins is not too fast and large volumes. it is enough to choose bittrex as the best exchanger.

i used to to trade both exchanges, and for me, i wanna choose Bittrex for a simple and smooth but has huge widthrawal fee than poloniex.

I have an account on Poloniex but I haven't tried Bittrex yet but I think the reputation of Bittrex is quite good. Reading all the sharing here in this thread, also states that Bittrex is somewhat better. I would try to make an account there soon and hopefully trade successfully.

Bittrex must become the best choice in my experience that the poloniex has frozen my amount they are not wanna recover my account. Even this time hitbtc seems better than polo exchange sites, But you should go to the bittrex rather than poloniex exchange sites. There are so many problems with polo.

I prefer Bittrex, because at Poloniex I have not been verified for 4 months already. They have a very strange privacy policy. My account is generally blocked for trading, because I live in the wrong place. Horror. A Bittrex is very convenient to use, although it has less speed. There those support is very loyal and responds faster. Verification is fast.

I do have accounts in both. I first created in Poloniex but I do not understand the user interface. I don't know why, for me it is not user friendly. That's why I transfer to Bittrex. I really want the user interface of Bittrex. And I've heard there are cases that the accounts in Poloniex had been hacked. So I am so thankful that I transfer all my coins in Bittrex.

Bittrex, the layout is superior in my personal opinion. Plus Poloniex has been known to unnecessarily lock up funds.

I'd like to trade in poloniex because the user interface is really good I love the green theme of it.  It makes my eyes feel comfortable. There are many features that make me feel happy to use it.

I think i've already seen your topic in other section. But anyways, actually i dont have account both of them but i think the best trading exchange is Bittrex because my friend if he want to trade he used bittrex.

I like both as both exchanges have got lot of traders and the volume of trading is very high so even if you keep 10% margin of profit you can daily earn it. Their support system is the only matter that is not good.

Personally I have only really used bittrex of the two but I have heard that polo has had some problems with downtime and withdrawals in the past. I find bittrex very smooth and easy to use.

I have account in Both the exchanges but i am trading mostly in Bittrex and other exchanges as most of the coins are listed first in other exchanges after some days they are listed in poloniex and bittrex , so until they are not listed here i have trade in other exchanges, but trading in bittrex is more comfortable.

Bittrex, has more coins and doesnt spazz out. There have been times where it was impossible for me to place and order on poloniex and just really strange stuff happened on it.

i think the best for trading is Bittrex, because until now their service is good

I usually choose Bittrex because the security of this site is very well appreciated and they always support me whenever I need it, exchang Bittrex is easier than with other exchanges because Bittrex supports users to use phone very good and I can trade anytime.

Because I do not use Poloniex. so I'll say why bittrex is my preferred exchanger. Because it is a leader when it comes to services. No. # 1 With all the trusted exchanger and fast process. And your bitcoins are protected by thieves as it has a 2Step verifacation code. Where you have to change it to another IP Address will automatically ask for an email verification. So it's harder for these Hackers to be opened. In addition there when the password changes the password will hold the Bitcoins a day before it can be withdrawn again

You are the one who can answer your own question since the response you will get here is based on their experience and you might have different experience than others. Try dealing with two if you preferred to test both of them.

Im using both since there are coins that isn't listed to both of the platforms. About security, I can say that both has excellent security measures since they will asked you some confirmations first before you can enter your dashboard. About customer support, I seldomly experiencing a problem to both trading platforms so overall Im not sending too much support ticket. About other misc errors, as of now fortunately I didn't experienced any of those problem e.g deposits, withdrawals problems etc.

I actually trade both of these sites but Bittrex to me is more secure and has less issues compared to Poloniex, though Poloniex is still a great trading site but I've noticed ever since their trollbox was taken down a lot of issues had been occurring especially the withdrawals. But for transaction fees Poloniex has lesser fees compared to Bittrex though but overall I am currently on Bittrex now than that of Poloniex.

I personally trade on Bittrex as it is efficient and convenient for me to use it.
It has a large number of coins from which we can invest in most stable coins and get good profits.
It also has a big market cap for various coins which allows a large number of people to invest huge money into coins.
Bittrex's support team is quite good and solves issues quicker than other exchanges.

I think that today the leader between markets is bittrex. It has some problems with support (it's too long), sometimes with limits and verifications your account, but in terms of trading it has no rivals.

Both exchanger is good.But I love bittrex. Bittrex is friendly. Deposit and withdraw services is very fast.Customer services are good.
But poloniex withdraw and deposit services are very slow.They take long time to make deposit and withdraw.But poloniex is always adding good coin first.

I remember that Poloniex ever had trollbox that have function for discuss between trader, I'm wonder why that feature got removed ?
Personally,  I like bittrex and I've trade there over 3 years without experience any problem.
But both of them have exist over 3 years and well known around the world !

Always found Bittrex easier to use. 

I'll be honest here. My first choice when it comes to crypto-exchange is Poloniex. Their UI is top-notch in this industry and there are a lot of things that you can do in their platform due to the numerous feature that they implemented in it. But few months ago, several complaints surfaced and they faced many problems in their trading platform. They got swamped by support tickets and many people started to lose their trust to Polo, mine included.

Right now, I must say that the best exchange to trade is Bittrex. I transferred my funds from Polo to Bittrex. I haven't had any problem with them so far and their support team is very responsive (based from other people's experience) to all the tickets thrown at them.

i am choosing bittrex because the dashboard for member is easy to understand, the market list is bigger than poloniex and there are many coins in bittrex and not in poloniex especially the coins which using ethereum network. for increasing our level, we can do with easy and we are not waiting too long and their security is also a good enough.

Maybe most will choose bittrex now because Poloniex have a lot of problems recently. But in the past I traded mostly in bitfinex, then on Poloniex when bitfinex got hacked. Poloniex have decent UI and average low fee but their customer service is really poor or slow to response.

BIttrex is better. They have a very good support system and everything is fast and secure. Poloniex is very slow since there are too many customers around. Moreover, there have been many cases that your balance do not show up even you have deposited your money into the exchange. However, poloniex influences other exchanges since it has a great volume

Bittrex is better for you if you want to ride some pumps which take place there randomly any day.
Poloniex is fine if you want to put your coins safe into an altcoin for longer duration.
I have always noticed Bittrex to have some better prices for the same altcoins you find at Poloniex, but it asks for a 0.001 withdrawal fee while Poloniex asks for just 0.0001. It depends on you whether you are interested in paying higher fee or not if you choose Bittrex.

I don't prefer poloniex any more. Bittrex is great for me. Poloniex have many issues with payment.

Bittrex. Too many trouble with Poloniex.
Bittrex has nice user interface and even transactions are allot faster than Polo. I heard there will be some restrictions on Bittrex soon but hopefully everything will be fine.

Bittrex any day when it comes to trading ,the design of the website ,the user -friendly interface , and not to mention bittrex adds more coins than poloniex I believe ,its less compared to other exchanges but greater than poloniex for what I have heard. The regulations of poloniex also makes users go away from the exchange and they go straight to bittrex.

It depends on the situation, sometimes i prefer poloniex since it has a very friendly interface and it is pretty, i really enjoy trading in it and buying some coins/exchanging them for btc, so it is a simple exchange, it does not have much coins to trade, but it is easy to use, so it is good for newbies. Bittrex is better if you want to have more coins to trade, and if you have more experience in it since it is more difficult to use.

I'm hearing reports of people having to wait up to 30 days to receive support from Poloniex.

Bittrex seems to be the better option right now, but be aware that withdrawal/deposit limits are really low for non-verified accounts.

Is poloniex still working propper for you? Or did they even solve their problems with automatic withdrawels, security and support? Would be great, it was the best exchanger for me.

Because there function are totally created in javascript which is quite easy for everyone to use and there design is also familiar to everyone that's why it is the easiest one than Poloniex to use.

Once people have bad experience about the exchanges then definitely that is not the best for them and the other one is the best. Since I have good experiences in these 2 exchanges , they are both best for me based on my experienced. Although there are lots of complaints about customer support in Poloniex, I don't experienced it yet so still Im not looking to that as factor not to used Poloniex.

I prefer more bittrex than Poloniex. We all know that both of them are really trusted exchange site but for me bittrex is more better to use. Bittrex has high security than Poloniex.

For me, I will go in Bittrex. Bittrex for me is super user friendly, specially in the interface of bittrex. Polo has fewer coins but more concentrated volume. Bittrex has a wider selection but less volume. I prefer Bittrex, the interface is better, the support is active.

Both of them was very best for me because use them both in when I do trading. But if I would choose only one, I will choose poloniex because all of their coins are on the top volume marketcap unlike bittrex, not all are on the top but the fees in poloniex is so high but it can't affect you if have a large amount of money on there.

Trading sites are fast but you can make trading on bitcoin by self too tell someone that you will do work for them and pay me in bitcoin because it can spread bitcoin around the world and tell the detail of bitcoin.

I have been trading with poloniex and I  think poloniex is one of the reliable trading exchangers platforms. I don't have accounts with bittrex but  there are also good according to the testimony from my friend who has account with bittrex. I think poloniex is better than bittrex and the most search of.

Both are my favoirite exchange.But bittrex is more favourite than poloniex.Some time people says that poloniex has some problem but recently rare.I did not hear from people that bittrex has big problem.And bittrex usage is very easy so i like bittrex more.

I'd preffer bittrex simple because it is faster. Also there are some rumors that poloniex is closing accounts.

that is true poloniex better than bittrex, poloniex have a larger volume, and those people are always waiting for the coins that they hold to be listed at poloniex. but after a few issues of withdrawal and lag. even my friends already almost 3 months still have problems and not finished until now. so I prefer bittrex. bittrex is also very good, have more coin.
 
 

For me i would choose Bittrex because i had never used Poloniex. As of this time Bittrex has a good network i never had a problem when i am trading. And they also prompt the registered owner if someone is trying to open the account. I can recommend Bittrex for that notification for security of the account holder.

I choose Poloniex over Bittrex just because I like it's graphic interface. However, as far as I can remember back in June, when all altcoins are down in Poloniex there are green altcoins in Bittrex which had given me at least profit during the bloody nights. Another reason why I choose Poloniex is the Gunbot. I run a BTC/ALTCOINS algo 24/7 in Amazon Webspace, and recently added funds for USDT/BTC algorithm.

I am more good when I am using bittrex. Bittrex is really good than Poloniex. For me, the bittrex is the best trading exchange site. I earned now many bitcoin through the use of bittrex.

I am trading with Bittrex exchange and till now i didn't experienced any problems. They have good number of coins with good volumes and their platform is working smooth and even they have good customer support. Poloniex i didn't got opportunity to trade with them, but i came to know that there are many issues with them. And i have also heared some bad reviews about them on Transaction issues in this forum under some particular thread . I will go with Bittrex for trading and i like to trade with them.

I used All of them bittrex and poloniex are best place to trading altcoins especially when there are different price between two markets, i could used arbitrase strategy of trading, that is fast way to get profit, the other reasons i used poloniex and bittrex because they are support for Smartphone devices, so i could traded on every time, every where just by my smartphone and never missed out the time for buy or sell the coins.

I traded in both Poloniex and Bittrex and found Bittrex to be better. The support at Poloniex is too slow, I have to wait for 2 month and my issue is not resolved. Whereas Bittrex support usually reply within one or two days and able to solve issues.

The fact is that Bitrix is ​​very good at using trade and accessibility to the site. You can even envy. I really like Bitrix, But I'm a little upset that my company is not being added with their coins to Bitrix. Of course, this creates certain difficulties, and we have to look for other exchanges. Poloniex is by far the most used one I think, hence the more attacks also, but they are trying well to overcome its issues and I feel they are the most reliable option for an exchange at the moment, bittrex is good too, but not yet reached the level of poloniex yet.

BITTREX. It is very easy to use and have good information about what's happening with the market.It is fast,reliable and secure.The look and feel is professional and the way the tools work will impress you, they are fast and easy.Good support too.

I've traded on both exchanges so I can perfectly inform you on my personal experiences.
Poloniex was my first exchange I used to trade on but as of recently I moved to bittrex. I will list the reasons below.
The Maggs were getting unbearable. People had been complaining about lagg since early may as bitcoin and crypto gained more and more popular. I useally didn't suffer too much from those Maggs or ddos attacks because I wasn't a frequent trader. But when I started getting affected I was very displeased. Sometimes it took 5 minutes to place a single order.
Because news got worse by the day (2FA allegedly was by-pass able) I decided to make the move to bittrex. And I've been very happy since.

I prefer Bittrex. I think that today it's the best trading platform. You can find a greater number of coins there.

Bittrex is so much better than Poloniex. Poloniex never answers my support ticket. It has been over 100 days now! Also, Polo has high withdrawal fees compared to Bittrex.
I have never had a problem with Bittrex.

I preffer Bittrex because it's reliable and secure with fast support and many currencies for trade, the best trading platform for me. And I didn't have any problems with withdrawal.

Honestly I never encounter to trade in Bittrex and Poloniex, I have no any idea on how to use this. But I know that Bittrex is one legit exchanger based on what I heard from my friends. I'm just a month in the world of trading because of earning of different token in joining in campaign so I need to learn to trade. I use the cryptopia in trading, sometimes hitbtc but others said that hitbtc is not legit or they encounter problem, but me? I never encounter a problem. I think in the future I need another exchanger and surely bittrex and poloniex will my another choices.

Agreed. I have accounts in both the exchanges, but in my opinion Bittrex is more reliable than Poloniex. Just check the Exchanges sub-forum and you can find so many horror stories posted by the users about Poloniex. Bittrex is not perfect, but it is safer when compared to Poloniex.

I preferred much bittrex than Poloniex, maybe because of some issues happened recently only. Unlike in bittrex, its never been involve or engage in any controversies issues through their clients.

until now bittrex became one of the great exchanges that can give me security and also comfort. because for me these two things become the most important in trading. I have undergone various trading conditions and have been around 2 years trading in various exchanges. Until now I see bittrex being my first choice. there are different things, they (bittrex) have many advantages compared to other exchanges.

poloniex is pretty good because it is a cheaper withdrawal fee compared to bittrex. good bitrex is more updated like bitcoin spliting of bitcoin cash even more bitrex first updates while poloniex is promising just now with bcc well in poloniex.

Bittrex man. Not sure what is with all of the threads asking which exchange to use, but Bittrex hands down over any of the other ones for sure.

A few years ago around 2014-2015 I would have said Poloniex, as back then they weren't too big and had a good level of customer support and Bittrex wasn't too big back then so I didn't use it much. In 2017 I would say Bittrex as the exchange has got much bigger and changed a lot (for the better) Great speedy customer support and security and that is really the main thing when you keep funds on an exchange.

They don't even give an answer for the tickets that I opened upon the problems I lived in there. I moved my funds to the bittrex after it.

I used to trade on Mintpal and Cryptsy and we all know what happened to those exchanges. I lost a lot of money on MintPal but at the time the value of the coins I lost was much lower than it is now, especially with the recent rise of BTC and DASH. I have learned whenever I have a bad feeling about any exchange for any reason, to get money off their and never deposit again. I have had that feeling with Poloniex recently and I'm not willing to risk it, even if there is no problem. I've never had any problems with Bittrex in the time I have used them since 2015 and I hope they will stick around for many more years to come.

For me bittrex is best for trade. I like and recommends to use bittrex for trade. In bittrex you will get good rate of coin. And I mostly like bittrex withdrawal system. You no need to wait long time for withdrawal. On the other hand polonix is slow withdrawal system. But some difficult to use bittrex in mobile browser. But you can use easily polonix in your mobile browser.

BITTREX is by far the best and safest place to trade Bitcoin and altcoins.

I used to solely trade on Poloniex, mainly due to high volume, but this year they have been shady, i had 2 very "strange" things happen to big margins trades i have, when i went to close them, well in profits and they turned into loosing trades (id closed hundreds of trades the same way before this).  Happened twice in a row back in April and ever since, i have not been back  to Poloniex and never will, they never reply to support tickets now (i have highest ranking account) they can not be trusted.

Bittrex on the other hand, very easy to contact i have one of the top guys on my skype contacts, spoke with them on skype when i have needed to regarding my account and never had anything "unusual" happen when i have been trading there.   

So please take my professional advice and try and avoid Poloniex at all costs.   

Poloniex API and support is awful. Just read reddit, there are a lot of examples.

for me poloniex still have better ui than bittrex, If you enable 2FA you can withdraw and deposit easy without verify. but when send eth to another exchange it take more than 1 day even it say completed.

I can say that there is no general answer on this question.
   Which one is the best for an individual depends from many things, location, connectivity with banks
in country you live in, alt-coins you wish to trade with, or you are just focused on bitcoins, site support, scam accusations,
general look of the site.
   I did not choose exchange site for me yet, but if I need to choose between Bittrex and Poloniex I would choose Bittrex
cause they do not have so many scam accusations against them, they support good and stable alt-coins, their site looks
better.

Before i traded on Poloniex, because it has best liquidity. But polo has terrible support. If somethig happend with your account it will be very hard to restore trading in the previous mode.
Now i choose Bittrex, because it has better support, and uprising volume.

bittrex support more new coin than poloniex. but both of them need much time to resolve ticket.

In my opinion, bittrex is the best exchange to trade your cryptocurrencies. I love their services and the security provided to secure your funds, adding to the fact that the site itself is user friendly in the sense that you can easily buy and sell coins.

I use bittrex to trade all the times, I have tried poloneix and bitfinex, they are not bad but bittrex is outstanding.

But now with so many complains on poloniex, will you still care about its UI? I think at the moment, most users will prefer on any exchange with better services and better support instead of better UI.
I used to trade at poloniex since I started to learn crypto-trading, but I have left them this year because of those many complains of slow support. It makes me a bit afraid to use them again.

about UI. many people still use wex.nz (btc-e.com) even they had get raid by FBI 1 times. just because they think btc-e is easy to use for them. people too lazy to learn new things

Bittrex is the best with best user experience, with negligible issues. I started with Livecoin and Poloniex, but soon had to leave Poloniex, it was just a personal preference, but now I see many complaints frequently. I still use Livecoin as I can add fiat from online payment processors, but for most of my trade at the moment Bittrex is my primary exchange. But for few new altcoins, I have to shift to other exchanges other than this two.

I do most of my trading still on poloniex as I initially started here but I am slowly moving more to bittrex as I prefer the platform and it seems more stable.

I've been using Bittrex for a while now and have not encountered any bad experience.
Although in the meantime also tried Binance exchange but just for a small period of time.

both of them are good. but poloniex support team work so slow. they make me feel they dont give a care about their customer

Poloniex has bad customer service, unreachable. I stopped trading there.
Bittrex let's you deposit btc and then you either need to verify or you can only take out a small amount of your btc each day,if the amount is big enough they will lock your account and demand verification.

I don't like either of em, if I had to choose I'd go for bittrex.

I use both. Bittrex I needed to buy certain coins. Poloniex for me is better though, and is my go to exchange. I think it's easier to use, with more features. I'm sad they don't have the troll box anymore, but I find their graphs easy to use, as well as the menus, deposits, withdrawals etc.

If it's one or the other, I'd choose Polo.

They are both strict on big amounts although i use both of them since some coins are only available on one side. i don't wanna choose since both of them have their own

advantage. what i like in poloniex is their 10sats withdrawal fee which is way more cheap compared to bittrex while their down side is their customer service is somewhat slow or

even difficult to reach. On bittrex i like their interface its not laggy on my cheap laptop and the verification is much faster compared to polo. i haven't experienced any problems

with bittrex so if i have to choose, i'll choose bittrex

If these two were my only choices, I'd go with bittrex. I actually am using it, but then I consider all value stored at exchange as null unless converted back into fiat. Damn, even some banks in where I live are known for refusing transactions from exchanges and closing your accounts. Basically, unless it's in a cold wallet or cash in your hand, there is no real value. When shit hits the fan, exchange will screw you over.

Before, I trade in Poloniex but I decided to transfer to Bittrex because of some issues in Poloniex about withdrawals so before my funds are freeze in that site which is not that significant anyway, I shifted it. I have also read that Bittrex is compliant to SEC rules so that is an additional assurance that the site cannot be easily shutdown by the government. Bittrex also has large volume so it would be easier to buy and sell coins and my orders can easily be filled.

I have tried both now and I'm quite new to Bittrex but now I'm learning the ropes thinking on how much I could understand to have better trades. I have sometimes experienced difficulty in connecting with Polo, but it's seldom to happen. I like both, hopefully, it could lead me to profits.

Just want to ask too if this two is friendly user?  Just want to start to learn about trading and my first step is to find which one is the best for newbie.  As what ive read there's always disadvantage and disadvantage.  I check yobit and find it fiendly user but i just read that its not safe there?  Is that true.?

For me, it's defintiely bittrex.

Firstly, it's got more volume than poloniex right now and way more coins listed - both obvious advantages that i do not need to explain. Secondly, it's got better support than poloniex(poloniex's support has a really bad reputation).

Thirdly, i just like the bittrex UI more than poloniex's one. You can do so much more on its charts as well.

Poloniex lost all their big whales and they are trading on bittrex now.

I prefer Bittrex better because it is easy to use and i never encounter any problem before i had been using it for years now. I am sure it is the most recommended exchange site because of its security and 2 factor authentication.

i suggest you to use bittrex so far i have no problem encounter for bittrex...but in poloniex until now i cant access my account because my ip is block with out reason...

i would go with bittrex. not long ago or even now, poloniex has problems with support. poloniex is also an exchange which uses tether.

Bittrex suits for me and I like there site up since they giving some good trades and the alt addition is great for that exchange, But I'm not into focusing on one exchange since I'm unto arbitrage sometimes and there are some new altcoins which has not been added on bittrex.

Recommend to try both, there is a coin which you can't trade in Poloniex or Bittrex and only available on 1 coin so it would be better to try both. But as far as I know, poloniex support is bad and it took long time to answer your question so make sure you're okay with that.

Bittrex has more volatility. But I trade on both exchanges.

Right now I only tried Poloniex and I have no problems with them. I think I will try Bittrex now as well, because I was considering buying some NEO, and Poloniex does not have it listed there for now. In Poloniex I've also tried the loan feature and it works fine as well, although right now the rates are really bad and you can't really take any decent profit from it.

I've been using Bittrex since they have low deposit fee and I really have good trade there to be exact the only thing I don't like Bittrex is his really big transaction fee for withdrawal but all in all bittrex is a nice trading site. Poloniex as have said by many replies here are really prone to attacks that somehow discouraged traders, I like Poloniex in a way that it has low transaction fee for withdrawal and they really have good coins to be traded out there.

i have just created an account on bittrex but it looks kinda complicated... i am used to coinbase so things like bids and orders and pairs are new to me. will have to read some more about this

Bittrex and poloniex are quite great exchangers.
But basically, I prefer bittrex over poloniex because of the flexibility and easy usage.
Bittrex is very popular and as such, more trades.
And also, they have a wide listing of so many coins.

I have not make much trade on Bittrex but I mostly use poloniex which most time gives me what I needed in trading crypto currency. And that has made me to prefer poloniex to any other exchange company, even during the 1st of August event that many were saying that is not safe to leave your funds with any exchange and online wallet, I left about half of my money with poloniex exchange and at the end, Bitcoin Cash doubled my money for me. For me, I prefer poloniex to bittrex.

It has different advantage,
Polo is highest market volume, it is the biggest and I love it. I can do trading in big volume here.

Bittrex has an early coin, I love it too.

They are the best.

I used to prefer Poloniex because their interface looks much better, but a few months ago, people began to experience problems with Poloniex (incredibly long delays and timeout errors when trying to place orders). Also, their support responses took very long which gave me bad feelings.

When Poloniex became completely unusable (due to transaction delays), I switched to Bittrex. From my experience, everything works properly and their support responds very quickly.

Since I switched, Poloniex has become useable again, but there are still small delays, so I will stick to Bittrex for now.

I like Poloniex interface better than Bittrex. I have no issue whatsoever in using it the only downside is the delay. I've also tried Livecoin and Liqui that is where I do most of my trades. I like Poloniex for its interface but when it comes to fast transactions and quick trade I'll go with Livecoin and Liqui.

I used poloniex and bittrex, poloniex is quite slow sometimes, can not compete with bittrex on speed. Bittrex's user panel does not go well, not useful.

Both are actually great trading sites but ever since people experienced a lot of problems with their Poloniex account I had to lessen my transactions there and preferred Bittrex. Though I was not able to encounter any problems with Poloniex, just making myself sure I just left some of my coins there and let it go for long term but I do check them once in a while too.

Poloniex is fine. I'm not really bothered by their transaction fees but some of the digital currency is not yet updated.

I used Poloniex before but after some issues with other users as I read in this forum about Poloniex I shift to Bittrex until now Im using it as my main trading site I have no problems encountered so far for almost a year of using it deposits and withdrawals runs smoothly site security is same as other trading trading you don't have to worry for now Im stick to Bittrex.

I use both platform but 70% of the trading funds that I allocate from my salary goes to Bittrex while only 30% goes to Poloniex. I was fan of Poloniex but I noticed that their support team is not doing a good job in answering issues and also there's this delay in transferring funds to your personal wallet. You can also get updates from Bittrex from their twitter account which is good.

For me i love to trade in Bittrex because it's easy to use and does not actually give me a problem like poloniex at the start i can't open my account because of that code which i get like 5 minutes

Exactly Bittrex suits for me too. They have best things other than every feature that coped with almost every exchange and that is better interaction with newcomer. That is not standardized but my own perception.

Whenever a newcomer joins this community they would better go to Bittrex as they got some amazing features and attributes.

Well bittrex does have a lot more coons to choose from than polo but for me i don't have any specific preference between the two. I don't really find one easier to use over the other as polo is prettt user friendly as well

Poloniex has always been a good trading platform until when they started having some issues with bad support. I believe that made most people shift their base into other exchanges and even made more exchanges like bittrex more popular and right now seem to be like one of the number one trading platform to make use of. I also noticed they do not just accept any coin without thorough analysis of their own.

If you didn't open the account yet, it is better to have an account in bittrex. Bittrex is by far the best exchange out there.Poloneix is also a good option but if you ask me any one I would choose Bittrex. Bittrex has good interface and easy to navigate website.Their charts and market history everything is good compare to poloneix.

For me, both platforms are very good for trade in the market. I think very few reputable coin will be listed in the Poloniex and after that, the second option coins will be listed in Bittrex. I making the good profit with these exchanges.

Poloniex seems to be far better if you concider interface and fees. I have used both. The only thing is security that is common for all exchanges. So, I would always recommend everyone to use poloniex to trade with cryptocurrencies. However they do need an App too and may be they will make one in future. Bitfinex does have an app but it doesn’t have USDT and some other major exchanges possible currently.

I use to trade mainly with bitterex currently, obvious that there are better coins that can do x1000 over night, but can also dump in an instant. Poloniex you hardly see a mad pump there which is what i like about it and they don't list coins any how. I will always recommend poloniex for a newbie trader, then once grounded, you can now try other exchanges.

I love both. But I prefer to trade mostly in bittrex because of the wide array of coins for trading. But in poloniex, I like how my buy and sell orders are almost instantly confirmed. In Bittrex, well depending on the bidding or buying price, it might even go overnight without anyone picking it up. I also like the candle charts in bittrex.

Both are great platforms to trade. I have an account on bittrex but I have not used it because I prefer to trade on lower reputable exchange where when I have issues no matter his small the value involved, someone is ready to attend to me and doing in due time is what matter than trading on big platform if the otherwise happen, no one is there to provide answers and also I want to help them grow in my own little way.

I also experience that sometimes it takes longer but what i like on poloniex platform is you can easily access their site thru mobile phone and trades normally although you can also access bittrex but there are some lags

I am using bittrex as my exchanger for my alt coins and i dont find any problem using their platform.They already offer 190+ crypto currency coins.Bittrex exchange only required minimal deposit  unlike other exchanges that need at least 5 or 10 dollar in order to start. Everytime you have a trading they only get a 0.25% commission and its pretty small fee than others.

I think most of the traders here in this forum are using them both, including myself because they're both popular and well known in this industry. But most of the time I used bittrex and most of my portfolio was in bittrex too.

I choose bittrex because it is safe, fast and the list of currencies is also good. The interface is easy to use. The only thing i don't like is the login process. I always have to confirm an login-email and then i do the login.

Use both, no need to choose. And it's better to spread your coins.

bittrex and poloniex both are good platforms the markets are very active but also have issues poloniex always seem laggy specially when coins are pumping ,and theres also security issues on both exchange even if you enable your 2fa.

I tried both exchanges and I am more comfortable trading in poloniex because I can see all the things I needed to see in just one screen like the coins beside the chart and below are the bid and ask price whereas in Bittrex, the list of coins is separated which is on the main page and then I have to click the coin to view the chart and then the bid and ask price. I have no problem with Poloniex but because of the recent issues, I am afraid I would not be able to withdraw my funds so I decided to transfer to Bittrex and so far, I have no problems with it and there are more coins to choose from.

Bittrex is by far the best exchange in the world. in terms of ease of trading, variety of coins include ETH token and even customer service. Of course, anything's possible happen, people know storing cryptocurrency in an exchange is very dangerous. But so far it is really the best.

I like this two. But for me i think the best exchanges site as of now is bittrex because it easy to understand how to use and they have many traders there. i think you're true. Poloniex has always been a good trading platform but support team Poloniex is so bad. I used to trade at Poloniex after i have problems, i tried to send to support team Poloniex ten tickets but they were not respond to resolve my problem, approximate 3 months later i just recieved to respond from them. Now i trade on Bittrex and i think Bittrex is better Poloniex although the altcoin which accept on poloniex is more than bittrex

Both of these exchangers has the capability on doing good trades. What I meant by good trade is that, you can profit a lot. Because whenever there is a great volume of your coin, in that exchanger you can profit a lot with that coin. But me I got used to bittrex, because on the first time I traded here I got used to it I don't know why.

Spreading your coin in different exchanges is not always a good idea,but if you are into arbitrary trading then i can understand why you are keeping your coins in different exchanges,Poloniex was a good exchange but with the amount of coins they have right now and the network constantly under DDOS threat,the site is really slow and the withdrawal and deposit takes a longer time compared to Bittrex,so i do prefer the latter for a very long time.

Bittrex becomes the top choice for traders after several cases hit the poloniex. yes some traders choose bittrex because it is more secure and reliable. but lately there are many other exchangers competing in altcoin trading. I say Binance, I think this will be a Bitrex competitor.

These two exchange platform are very well known in bitcoin/crypto world, and as far as I know Poloniex is much more ahead in bittrex in terms of popularity but even is like that I chose to trade in Bittrex than Poloniex due to I've been using for a 1 and 8 months almost and so far I don't face any issue controversies.

Not too many coins that are doing well? That does not have anything to do with poloniex, that is what the market is giving presently and it is the same result you  will get for these coins on other exchanges too. Regarding slow, I am not sure since I stopped using them for a while, but it is not a bad platform honestly except for their support.

For me Poloniex has better interface but Bittrex has more coins listed. And Poloniex policy regarding listing of coins is tougher than Bittrex one. It is more difficult to get listed on Poloniex.

I have been trading with both Poloniex and Bittrex from last 6 months. I would prefer Bittrex when compare with Poloniex for the below reasons:

1. Not seen any network issues in Bittrex
2. Much growing exchange
3. More coins are available in Bittrex than Poloniex

I do prefer Bittrex for flatform exchange because i never encountered a problem using this site and my account is secure because of the security features of the flatform and my currency are safe.

There has been so much bad press coming from Poloniex and I hadly use it because I found easier exchanges to use but choosing between the two IMO i think Bittrex is better because it has a good reputation with the community.

I never used anyone of them but what I have read most in this forum, is all about Bittrex. Then I was suspense-out by reading about it. Literally people gave reviews about it and what I analyzed from the data I had under analysis, is it is more sensible and interactive exchange than all others here in crypto world. for now poloniex is very risky, i prefer safer bittrex and fast sending and response from admin, poloniex now often have problem when tethering bitcoin or altcoin, for a while i avoid poloniex and switch to bittrex. Another advantage of bittrex is that they have plenty of altcoin options to double your bitcoin safely.

As of now i think the vote must favor to the bittrex and thats my vote also i think the best trading site is bittrex because the features is good and perfect an dthey have many coins that good to trade and to buy and to hold . But poloniex is also good to trade because they have many altcoins but Bittrex is better. It depends to you what is better to trade if uts bittrex or poloniex we have different opinions.

Ive never had a problem with bittrex.

I am more used poloniex, but recently I started to use bittrex too, cuz it has many altcoins that polo don't have!

I personally prefer bittrex, before I get a problem on poloniex, I'm active with both. But after I run into the problem of withdrawal on poloniex and the problem keeps repeating and is very slow in resolve it, moreover poloniex support is very bad, IMO. So I decided to leave the poloniex after my problem resolved and then now I just use bittrex and yeah bittrex is highly recommended.

Exchanges were highly legit on the trading activities, issues arise out from the exchanges very rarely. It's better to find the one providing the ease of access as well increased profit margin over the other. I believe those mentioned were for experienced people, whereas there are small scale exchanges available for beginners.

I prefer Bittrex as a trading flatform because of the security of the account and it is very easy to use. I had never encounter any problem before I would definitely recommend it.

I am using both exchanges so far i didn’t encounter any problem. I used bittrex because of so many tokens that can be trade, the only problem with bittrex is the higher fees compare to poloniex. Though people experience some problem with poloniex i still like to use it for a lower transaction fees.

Bittrex better customer service if you are having technicalities or difficulties in your withdrawals they easily response to your concerns customer assistance is being handled well which is why most people at ease in trading their bitcoins here. Which is why this recommendable also when I see there feedback I see lot of positive comments coming from their investors which is why this is recommendable.

Bittrex and Poloniex are two exchanges which are responsible for most of the altcoin trading volume every day.  Both  are well respected and  there are complaints for both of them.
They exchange dozens of different altcoins, not just the typical BTC and ETH, but many new, up and coming cryptos. When it comes to Bittrex, you can trade using BTC, ETH and USDT. Poloniex has a slight advantage here as it also offers trades through XMR.
In regards to support, both exchanges are fairly dependable. Poloniex is my favorite, with a clean Q&A section on their site that can be easily accessible, and a contact page where you can quickly send a message.

Both exchnages seem to have had their fair share of bugs as well as multiple cirumstances where the exchanges were down. In regards to hacks, almost every altcoin exchange has been hacked in one way or another and that is why it is always recommended to move altcoins to offline wallets as soon as possible.

Well it's true that bittrex now is having a problem with the accounts of the traders like some accounts had been blocked for transacting within the site. And as for my account, good thing it's already safe and sound. So now I'm using etherdelta and coinexchange for the meantime and wait for the bittrex issue subside.

I prefer Poloniex than Bittrex although sometimes it has errors. Bittrex has few difficult rules such as locking your account if they think that you have money laundering.

Never tried poloniex, I don't know maybe I'm contented so far in the exchange sites that I'm using. Been using tidex and hitbtc and never got a problem as their interface is good and not too complicated to use and the fees are quite reasonable.

I go with Bittrex because it has some coins that aren't affected by altcoin dumps. However, when it comes to lending, I prefer Poloniex of course... though, recently the profit is too low. Every trader has it's preference, and some goes by GUIs... so if you don't like the boring interface then you must go on with Poloniex.

Same here, I'm only using poloniex right now and dont have any idea about bittrex. But upon reading all the comments now I can say that bittrex is far good than poloniex. Maybe i'll try using bittrex if I'll earned more coins :)

I believe their account was locked due to suspicious activities. The worst part of this is that these people don’t even contact support, they just go straight to the internet and say whatever $h!t comes to their mind. I’ve been on Bittrex for quite a long time now, and I believe it’s a good site to rely. Although, most of my friends are into Poloniex and I also discovered that Poloniex is more popular than Bittrex, maybe due to their good coins as others claims. I might try it out one day, cause it’s not good to rely on one.

Bittrex is good for trading but I heard that people are having some issues with bittrex from a past few days, I guess they couldn't access their account or something, you can use that exchange once all the problems are solved. Poloniex on the other hand is good, has a good liquidity ratio, but I just feel it's not the best exchange at the moment.

both are safe trusted wallet exchange i use bittrex  to save bitcoin and electrum simply because i don't like to put my savings into one wallet i make this for the security of my bitcoin, but i want to choose poloniex for trading because its easy to rearch and lower transaction fee to transfer the amount of bitcoin came from trade, because i used local wallet to exchange bitcoin into cash money.

I've been seeing a lot of accusations against Bittrex lately of them locking people's funds, but I'm not sure if it's mostly FUD or not.

Both bittrex and poloniex exchange are good as you rightly said but as for me since I do most of my crypto currency trading on poloniex and that has made me to prefer poloniex exchange over bittrex. Although, some of my friends prefer using bittrex because they were introduce to bittrex exchange from the inception of their crypto currency trading before any other exchange and that has made them to prefer bittrex over poloniex but all the same, both of them are good.

Am about to stop trading on both exchanges.. . Will never recommend the B one to anybody anymore. The recent deactivation of hundreds of accounts is a sign of what is to come and a warning to all. Seriously considering moving to Decentralized exchanges. Will most likely happen soon.

Personally I much before trex, I find the UI much more friendly compared to polo, trex has some bad publicity lately as accounts supposedly being closed with no reason but I haven't been subject to this.

Well for me, i find both reliable. Just withdraw when you reach a specific amount already and don't store an amount that's too big to avoid complications. I withdraw my btcs to my personal wallet everytime i reach .1btc

I'll go with Bittrex. Poloniex looks like a garbage now. They have so many issues and complains from many customers. They are maybe the most popular and trusted on the previous years but now everything is worst. Bittrex is so easy to navigate and perfect for starting traders.

I prefer using poloniex exchange because it has all the feature and almost all the coins listed on their site. Although many people have equally confirmed that bittrex is a good crypto currency exchange but I cannot attest to that fact though. 

It depends on what you're going to be buying and trading. Each of them is basically the same type of website but what you're looking at is that some of them have quite on it at the others don't. We actually do business with both of them because we use polo for one set of coins and the other for a different set of coins. For basic trading it for every day trading either one of those is best.

I use Bittrex for crypto currency exchange Last one Year. Its Most User familiar and it's exchange fee so low and also withdrew fee, Quick identity verification Quick Withdrew. .. Poloniex is also good low exchange fee from bittrex  but I Don't like poloniex. I like to exchange in bittrex.

Bittrex is best trading Platform form Polinex.. It's My Opinion.  

I think for those who have a capital I recommend in bittrex because there is not too fast price movements unlike in poloniex whose movement is very fast

Eehm…the first one I got into was Bittrex and I have been there for months now, and I believe it is the best place one can rely on. I haven’t used Poloniex– I started seeing stuffs about Poloniex the time I joined Bitcointalk forum, but I haven’t tried it out since then.

Im using this two platform and never encountered any problem but there are so many complains about bittrex disabled account so poloniex is my first choice now to avoid problems.

Bittrex for me has always been the best place to trade without issues, the platform is very smooth and the support is good. Most people who started complaining recently are those who registered on bittrex after the fork and they are being asked to verify their accounts first to continue which I did not really see as a major problem for someone to do. The only issue I just had with that was not telling people before just closing their accounts.

Poloniex is my priority exchanges for trading, because the price difference is very low. So intraday trading can run well. At bittrex, I just put less than 10% bitcoin i have. But in essence, both are very good exchanges.

i am using both poloniex and bittrex for my daily trading although i am using other exchanges too. i like to use poloniex and bittrex is because in poloniex we can analyze the coins which have big potential to increase after btc is down or stable in one range of the price. in bittrex, i think there is many altcoin that we can choose to make profit and so far, i think if the coins is increase then the coins price will be increase too higher than poloniex. i think its our benefit to make a bigger profit with both sites.

Bittrex is a scam exchange, So be careful If you do trade there or save your crypto there.

They are both good exchanger but from the start of my journey in bitcoin industry,  Ive been using poloneix as a medium to trade alt-coins, Though im not acquainted with bittrex. but maybe someday ill try to trade in bittrex.

You can use bitfinnex and bittrex .
But never ever poloniex.
I repeat never ever poloniex.
I have already lost 3500usd worth of moent in poloniex even when the 2fa was enabled.
Not only that if you have any problem their support will never gonna respond to your query.
Just make a support ticket and you will see no reply for months.
I have forzen account there for 2 months now and nobody ever responded.

Bittrex have live support on slack and bitfinex have good support team on email.

I also use both Poloniex and Bittrex in trading altcoins, Bittrex is best because you can find many altcoins to buy in there but it has a high fees in withdrawal. Some coins in Bittrex are not in Poloniex but the one that I like in Poloniex is it has low fees in withdrawal. It is also much easier to use for me rather than Bittrex. But this past few days many traders from Poloniex have a problem of withdrawal and they always have a maintenance in their site. That thing I didn't encountered in Bittrex.

For me, I more like to trade in  Bittrex because more altcoin available there, also never problem with withdrawal. And now in Bittrex enable 2FA and also email confirmation to login in so our account  will be more protected.

Poloniex is also sending email code when you are trying to acces your account what i dont like on bittrex is there are so many complains about the disabled account

At the end, it is based on what a user is used to or not. Poloniex too has been good and the platform is not bad at all, even though sometimes it usually look pretty rough to me since I started using bittrex with a much more well designed outlay. However, ploniex support was what really created a huge problem for its users and that is one thing someone like me do not joke about. This was the reason I switched to bittrex instead.

Between those two options I would prefer bittrex, because of the experience I have, I admit both are the best exchanges in my eyes. But both have little difference in terms of support, I would feel comfortable if support can respond to its customers quickly and bittrex is superior in that regard. Same here, I started trading with Poloniex and I love their UI, dashboard is very easy. Their support group sucks, they don't reply to tickets and their pairs list seems to be growing in a very slow paced. Its very seldom that they list a new token or coin. My only problem now with Bittrex is the whales in Poloniex transferred to Bittrex. You can easily tell that the price is being manipulated by whales when they place a huge wall so price will not move.

Actually i never use bittrex. I have an account there but never try to trade. So  i always use poloniex.

I have used both bittrex and poloniex for me i think to compare both. I will prefer bittrex.Bittrex is the best with best user experience, with negligible issues. The user interface of bittrex was what really gave me that push to switch from poloniex asides the support issue. I fell in love with it on the spot and I have never regretted for once doing that. However, I hope they keep up to their game as there is one thing with exchanges messing up over time, probably it gets to their head too much or they just show a non nonchalant attitude of getting better rather than getting worst.

There are differences in some of the exchanges, but those are the nearly identical that I have seen, so the comparison is really just which one has the coin that you need to have or hold and which one has the better price at the time. There are always some coins on there because those are one of few exchanges that have that random coin we want. Other than that, I find both pretty much the same.

Well, until we started having decentralized exchanges which obviously would definitely change a lot of things, then we might just have to stick with what is best available to us. Honestly, what you said is right and it sucks as they could have at least notified users before taking such an insane move when we are talking about people's fund here. It shows the necessity why decentralized exchange would take a lot of power from these exchanges if properly done.

The fact is that my choice will still be for bittrex, and my choice is explained by the fact that the variety of coins for trade is very large. Even though there have recently appeared new conditions for the registration of users and their functionality on the exchange, my choice still remains precisely because of this crypto exchange.

I left Poloniex few months ago when they were having too many issues. Bittrex is my main trading site but lately support is very very slow and unsettled requests. Bittrex is still the largest exchange with most coins so I continue to stay there.

Its not that poloniex is not good, it has a very huge volume and low spread between coins in Poloniex.

I have an account in Poloniex but it only has few coins that you can trade unlike Bittrex that you have many selections which I really like. Bittrex doesn't also give me headaches like those technical issues that happens in polo.

Bittrex is much better. Support answer fast and ui is much better. Also apis are a lot easier to use than poloniex so if you think someday start building bot use bittrex. They all take same amount every trade so in the end it doesent mater. Just choose that you think is easies to use and what feel better.

Honestly, that is uncalled for, although they had their reasons which since they are in the US, had to comply with the regulations. However, it is just not right closing people's account without notifying them at least via email and giving them a period of time to either verify, withdraw or stand a chance of getting their accounts locked. That sounded pretty shady to me as well. This is just one crazy reason why centralised stuffs suck and I cannot really wait until we started having decentralised exchanges.

I like both exchanger cause I choose new coin for trade. I find new coin who listing in bittrex poloniex and other exchanger. I find coin price other other exchanger. I like bittrex for trade. I can easily use this exchanger.

I'm using both of them to trade cause it's very easy to use and support very quickly. But few days ago I see a lot of report about these two exchanges about account locked because of something don't really know. I never seen anything like that before but maybe it's related to the Bitcoin hardfork.

Some people are suspended for trading, and they come from different countries like India, Iran and Pakistan. I see this is another way for bittrex to be safe from monopolies.

I think that all the precautions taken by the administration of the bittrex exchange, has a very great meaning. I think that it is through introducing new methods of identification that it is possible to prevent not only fraud, but also the organization of crimes with financing of crypto currency.

got worried too about certain issue regarding of freezing accounts but so far I'm not been interrupted even I'm still not verified and can only trade less than  1btc good thing that I can still continue and I'm familiar with both platform and using it for my small trading activities, still using it and do some little trade from bittrex though a lots of issue has been raise previously so I can say that don't take too much risk of your money be very vigilant from any platform.

It is quite natural because all the people are looking for the proper benefit and all the people want to invest at the proper time I hold the bitcoin and I know how fast the bitcoin will and the poloniex will grow because the demand and he value is very high and all the people are aware of the it, in the start the bitcoin was not the common and the famous as the poloniex but now everyone is preferring it.

Normally I use Bittrex, no issues so far, their API is ok to trade with bots, I have Legacy account I hope they will keep the withdraw limit I have per day, more than 1000 BTC which is wayyy more what I need.

I still prefer bittrex over poloniex. Simple, easy to use interface for novices. The interface of poloniex is hard to see.

One thing you should understand is that no matter what, there will always be people who complains that this and that isn’t good. Bittrex is not scam, but there will always be people who will get caught up in a problem with them. I even see lots of people complain that Poloniexis scam despite the fact it is said to be the oldest. So that’s it, people will always complain no matter what.

I like bittrex more than poloniex right now, it used to be the opposite, but once poloniex started to become quite suspicious with all the lags (especially during ripple pump) and withdrawal delay, then i moved to bittrex. So far it's a good exchange, more volume than poloniex right now and never have problem with it.

Both exchanges have a bad reviews if try to search here in the forum you can see the frustrations of members because of bittrex disabling the account, I haven't experience that problem so cant say if its true

Yes, that's the reason why almost all people prefer to use that exchange site, even you use on mobile phone to trade your altcoin it's smooth and ( like what you said ) this are user friendly. And i never encountered any problem when i use Bittrex to trade my altcoin.

I also heard some problems on Bittrex since they topped Poloniex in volume. Still I prefer Bittrex because there are more problems and controversial issues Poloniex is facing. And one of the best advantage Bittrex has is that its markets consist of more coins than most top rivals exchanges.

I don't have any idea which one is best to use yet, if it is bittrex or poloniex since there still a lot that I need to learn and also I am still new here. I like this thread it give me additonal idea about trading.

People says it's scam well of course their coins are stuck in that exchange like their deposits and withdrawals had a problem or the chat support are all useless and didn't reply for their complain. And I don't think there are scam exchanges because if they're all scam everybody that trades in their platform have all encountered similar problems and sooner nobody will use their platform.

Depends what kind of trading you are looking to do in my opinion.

Poloniex has far more trading pairs than bittrex does currently. In my experience poloniex also has better liquidity during high volume days and the platform is very stable compared to something like Kraken. Poloniex has a superior user interface as of right now and more features for experienced traders that want to utilize some advanced functions. I have experienced and heard of many people complaining with regards to the support from Poloniex but this is something users experience with pretty much every exchange.

Overall, they are both great but I would still put Poloniex over Bittrex.

I hate trading at poloniex because I have a lot of problems every time I trade and I have lost a lot of profit from this exchange if poloniex does not soon improve this situation they will surely lose a lot of big investors.

I like Bittrex more than Poloniex. But if to speak about forks, bittrex made it clear that they not friendly with it. That's why a lot of users still waiting for BTG.

Really depends, i used both and are moderate to good in terms of security. With the number of alt-coins to trade bittrex has lot to offer. But bittrex price is a lot fast change and volatile compared to poloniex. Both are good trading exchages

I used to be very active on Poloniex platform since their interface and transaction speed was really nice at that time. Then something happened and their servers collapsed. And I instantly quited poloniex and moved my funds to Bittrex.

I find Bittrex better than poloniex now.

The banking system isn’t the issue. It’s the fact that you have to declare all income and losses for income tax purposes. No point in making a million dollars if you aren’t allowed to withdraw and spend. If you take a capital gains loss it’s nice to use that as a right off. Keep your paper trail for audits.  :)

I agree with you, Bittrex is now much more convenient than Poloniex. I have been using Bittrex for a long time and I am very pleased with this exchange. All transactions come quickly. And a high level of security on this exchange

I have good experiences with both in all honesty. No issues withdrawing or depositing on either of the exchange sites and both provide great trading volume across currencies.

I have both accounts but when i experience the deposit error thing. I started to focus on trading on bittrex, because the security is the main focus of the dev. They are also responding quickly on support system. Overall i prefer bittrex now.

Well then in a situation like this even poloniex can't be trusted as lately even they have started to block it's users account by setting the limit to $0 and not continuing with the verification. The only solution would be to use hitbtc instead. It doesn't have any limit system i guess , nor has much of complains against it rather than dumping of ico tokens.

Both exchanges are good exchanges , the only difference is that Poloniex has greater volume than bittrex. I personally experienced both and i havn't face any problem in buying and selling or in depositing and withdrawl of coins.

Well i think there's are isolated issues with people having problems with either of the two and pretty much all exchanges are having issues here and there. No exchange is perfect. Both for me have good support and that's what's important

For me both are good and user friendly and people are praising more of them although poloniex has some upgraded technology but in short both are best at user ends and other than these two no other is much reliable to the user so chose from them to trade well and refer these two to the others so that other people can also get benefits from them the main thing that is mattering the trading strategy so go for it.

All we said that before"Bitterx is better, faster,etc"but seem people here not see the Topics in Scam Section. More than 1000 accounts disabled last month without any single notification most have Enhanced account. Bitterx don't care about our funds, but poloniex "also US based trade" when applied the US new rules, allow all user to withdraw their funds without any question, not like Bitterx, make it as long as possible I don't know why, tickets take a days to answer and disabled withdrawal from users "all proofs in Scan section".
I think bitterx not a good place for trading because "BITTERX NOT SAFE". Don't believe that? Go to twitter and search for #Bitterx_Disabled_Accounts you will see many many guys crying and asking Bitterx Staff to re-enable their accounts again.

Bittrex is best for trading now. Poloniex has slow load website and sometime it missed my buy/sell order.

I do only trades of big volume over poloniex, im an old costumer of them, the only issue i had were due to my mobile reset 2fa and i havent saved the keys to restore it, it took me few days to recover the acess to mine account, besides those i havent any issue with them and well its already 2 years using them, Bittrex has growed a lot thise year due to poloniex bad or ghost support avaible to handle the increase of costumers.

Either of the two trading sites are great but i prefer to polo because it is my 1st trading site. It a matter of how the website give you the confidence to trade. For me polo is the best because it has all the things you want in trading.

Both of them have their own benefits and those who are using anyone of them are best to earn but in poloniex there is some upgraded techniques used which give user reliability and make user friendly environment and on top of it bittrex is also very beneficial you can’t just deny the importance of each over other so earn it doesn’t matter which one you are using just stick to your aim to achieve these will help.

I’ve used Poloniex a lot in the past but once they took off their message board I have lost confidence in their exchange. They say they shifted the monitors of the message board to support because they were behind on support tickets. They still are way behind on support tickets which makes me wonder if there is a major problem with my account, will they address the issue. I’m not saying it’s a bad exchange, but my confidence in them has eroded to the point that I don’t trade with them anymore.

I am more than happy with poloniex. Because there, I can do margin trading. It's more profitable because i can make double profit. Only occasionally use bittrex.

I like both but I like bittrex the more because its user friendly.

Both are very good exchanges, are popular and used by many. The volume of transactions as well as the user density of both are very high, both of which also support a wide variety of coin to attract many users. I think the choice depends on each person. For me, I choose bittrex, I feel trade with bittrex is quite friendly and easy to use. The security level of bittrex is good, it's quite safe. The support team is great, when there are problems we will be resolved in the best way and I like this. This is just my feeling :D

I have a large preference for bittrex over polo but long term I expect to move to another exchange, both trex and polo have quite high fees at 0.25% and I expect that they will either have to lower their fees in the long term or they will be replaced by an exchange which offers lower fees.

I've played on poloenix and bittrex exchanges, but I prefer trading in bittrex reasons there are lots of coins out there instead of poloniex, besides that poloniex is sometimes heavy to open on my laptop and that's somehow because in my friend latop too like that. maybe other friends also experience something similar !!

I like Poloniex. I had used Bittrex already, but now I have stopped. It sometimes blocks user account without pre-notice. They don't respect users.

I do not use the others, I arrange completely and completely another service - eserdelta, it is absolutely anonymous and very accessible, understandable for the user

Etherdelta can offer interesting opportunities for example if there is an airdrop you are really interested in. Bittrex has a very nice interface. What I like about poloniex and bitfinex is the lending option.

even they are both good to trade i am mush better to trade in bittrex than in poloniex maybe because this is where i start and i am not able to try to create account with poloniex because i dont know why until now i may have an error making an account with poloniex.

There are differences in some of the exchanges, but those are the nearly identical that I have seen, so the comparison is really just which one has the coin that you need to have or hold and which one has the better price at the time. There are always some coins on there because those are one of few exchanges that have that random coin we want. Other than that, I find both pretty much the same.

None unfortunately. They're both Centralized exchanges with potential to lose customers's funds. Traders on these Centralized exchanges are taking hugh risks unfortunately

When I know about crypto Currency I used Poloniex to trade. but there was some security issue. Then I  moved to Bittrex. But I think, both exchanges  are good if you have good knowledge. Bittrex has lot of coins than Poloniex. So I recommend , Bittrex is Powerful. It does not mean , Poloniex is not good. Decision is yours...cool :-* :-* :-*

Hmph…you never know what they will turn out to be tomorrow. By the way, I heard people saying that Bittrex was turning into scam, but my last withdrawal which was last month was paid. I started with Bittrex right from the time I got into Bitcoin as a noob. I later registered for an account on Poloniex but haven’t started trading before I came across some people on this forum complaining that Poloniex is turning into something else and that they’re experiencing difficulties in withdrawals.

Well, I guess I just have to stick with Bittrex and never listen to what people are saying. No matter how good an exchange is, people will always complain, it’s difficult to please them.

Both are very great exchange but i'm more prefer to Bittrex. That exchange is have good interface very friendly and also easy to understand. The coins who listed there quite a lot and some of them have big volume.

I love Poloniex but Polo doesn't have a coin. Bittrex UI sucks. Binance looking good.

Choosing an exchange is not for the purpose to please someone though the exchanges are here to please their clients with their services but sometimes some of the exchanges like poloniex are difficult to handle with. For me it is not possible anymore to keep my operations running through poloniex because of their behaviour and pushing people towards the adoption of an altcoin. Poloniex was my most favourite until they had no issues with bitcoin, since they are going against the wish of their clients I have left it. Now working on bittrex and found it more convenient than poloniex.

I was using Poloniex before, but when the times come that poloniex faced some controversial issues I decided to transfer all my accounts in Poloniex into Bittrex. And I know most the Poloniex users slaos shifted into Bittrex too.

I do not know about poloniex, I did not hear good things, but at least they have the money back to people. avoid bittrex.com at any cost!  Thieves! They took my money too, and i wish them to die in the most painful way!

Nowadays the decision is tough.
Poloniex had issues on big amounts, had issues with ETH deposits, and sometimes delist coins just like that. But they have a great interface, allow lending and allow working with small amounts without account verification.
Bittrex, although the interface is only "good" and have bigger withdrawal fees than Poloniex, and no lending either, have more "smaller" coins and seemed to play fair with everybody... until recently. Today you need to get your account verified if you want to withdraw even a penny. And the verification has failed for many (even for myself basic verification has failed, enhanced went thru).

So it's pretty hard to decide which is better now, both have pluses and minuses, both have a hard-to-get support.
Since I've had less problems with Poloniex, for now Poloniex is a bit ahead in this, but not that much.

Bittrex seems the better exchange at the moment. I was using Poloniex once I first started but now Bittrex seems to be bigger and better.

I think bittrex is the best exchanger that we can use if we will do trading. Most of the whales in the trading world are using bittrex. Bittrex also has better security than other exchanger. I can considered that bittrex is better to use than poloniex.

I will like to trade with Bittrex because of their tough security. Bittrex has a very resilience security of their platform and they are robust and very rich and old with experience and safety of your fund.

There are many differences between bittrex and poloniex in some ways, but I see it's almost the same I see. The comparison is true only one thing is, who who has the necessary coin fitting popping or fitting is in the wallet and where among bittrex or poloniex that have a better price then it will also be a determinant where I will do the trading. initially i prefer bittrex, Because the transaction process is faster and the cost is cheaper, but after the rule changes, I am very difficult to verify, so i moved to poloniex and left bittrex..

Poloniex has terrible support, and it has change  their customer politics, that's why I  moved to Bittrex. But not so long time ago was some issues with bittrex as well, that's why I am now considering Binance as new exchange.

Bittrex is facing a lot of problems right now regarding account verification and accounts getting locked/frozen for no reason.

I will suggest to join both of them as for me both of them are working well and both of them are giving me benefits. In some trade I use poloniex and in some trade I use bittrex because some of the coins are available on poloniex and some are on the other. So for the convenient and for getting access to more coins it is better to join multiple exchanges.

I prefer to trade in bittrex that poloniex because bittrex has faster transactions than poloniex and also had higher volume of btc than polo.

I like bittrex to trade because bittrex has much security than poloniex. I'm trading on bittrex about 10 month and I'm too much satisfied with their service. I have never faced any problem with Bittrex. Bittrex support is response faster and its very faithful. It has a lot of coins and we can trade in most stable coin and earn good profits.
I don't satisfied with Poloniex service and also their support is too slow. That's why I don't like to trade in ploniex.

Poloniex is dead, i don't trade there and it's super complicated rather than bittrex because bittrex has more coins and easy to use but for me being a bit experience i margin in BitMex.

poloniex vulnerable to hacking, and support services very slow and Bittrex is a very nice exchanger, but with the current state no new coins / tokens going in there will make this exchanger lose popularity, people will prefer an exchanger that has many new coin options

I agree with binance existence, it's no longer the game of bittrex and Poloniex anymore as this exchange really showed good volumes and numbers of traders who's using the site, though we still hearing some concerned about hacking bots but its a good alternatives to choose from, I have accounts from

There are many exchanges in currency world or currency trading system. Bianance, Hitbtc, Bittrex, poliniex, cryptopia, Etherdelta, IDEX. Above all exchanges I like Bittrex and poliniex both.

I like bittrex and poloniex too and so far, I don't have any problem with both exchanges and I still trade with both sites. but I see many people have a different problem with bittrex and poloniex and maybe they miss something so they can get any problem. and if they can be patient for a while and follow what bittrex and poloniex wants, I am sure that their problem will be solved.

I'm using both platform. I started trading with Poloniex but after i have some problem with them when they respond support ticket is too slow and then i started using Bittrex and i think Bittrex is better than Poloniex. Now 80% of the trading funds that i invested in cryptocurrencies in Bittrex and 20% in Poloniex. Poloniex has some problems, there was many scam accusation threads where people claimed that they weren't able to withdraw money so you have to careful when you want to use it.

Mostly I use Poloniex but I probably actually prefer Bittrex, just I started using Polo beforehand and stuck with it more out of habit than anything else.

I used to trade on both these exchanges. Since the autumn of last year, I completely switched to Bittrex. I was tired of the heavy support of Poloniex. But now Poloniex bought out and maybe the situation will change and I will return to Poloniex again.

I would do the same, i will avoid to put money for trading in Poloniex, their have many issue problem about support ticket that still unanswered same as HitBtc. I have using Poloniex for 3 years and since last year i decides to stop because many of my coins was pending withdrawal up to 1 month. I lost my time.

With Bittrex not letting new users to register and Poloniex going to implement KYC after first quarter of this year, I don't think any of both the exchanges is going to be attractive. I would rather trade on Binance and Kucoin than anywhere else.

I am using Binance bitrex and recently i tried polonix which is also good trading platform. My favorite is binance but comparing these two i will go with bitrex. Because interface is also very smart and smooth, and lot of tokens are listed and more volume for trading also better to handling trafic. Bitrex customer support is good. Poloniex has bad customer service, unreachable. I stopped trading there.
Bittrex let's you deposit btc and then you either need to verify or you can only take out a small amount of your btc each day,if the amount is big enough they will lock your account and demand verification.

Bittrex is my pick. I don't know for you but I'm from Europe and  I've had some problems with Poloniex in the past, but never with Bittrex.

Not only you, I think a lot of people here in the past have had problems with poloniex, first, it's a matter of support, they are always very slow and make us extremely uncomfortable, hackers have attacked me in poloniex and when I send the support ticket, they have taken a long time to settle and the result is my money has evaporated. Then I heard many people say they cheated very clearly in the margin trading, there is a lot of evidence that they used margin as a trap to get money from many people, they have too much scandal while bittrex has a better reputation

Honestly we can't decide for you when choosing the right trading so I'll give you some of the basic info about Bittrex and Poloniex.

Bittrex is one of the world’s largest 10 cryptocurrency exchanges. It supports a bunch of coins that other exchanges support. It generally has good volume across all its pairs, making it ideal for both large and small buyers and sellers.

Poloniex was once the best cryptocurrency exchange, before competitors like Bittrex starting offering superior services. Nevertheless Poloniex went through extremely fast traffic growth since the demise of its rival Cryptsy in 2016, and especially since the recent altcoin bubble of early 2017.

Based on my studies these both coins are both profitable so I will go with them.
It is a risk to choose both but I will rely on my personal research and to the feedback of the previous investors of their company.

Poloniex has lately had connection, login, withdrawal and deposit issues which kept many traders from trading. Lots and lots of grievances on Poloniex lately, I am also one of the victims. I couldn't log into my account for a week and couldn't swing-trade an alt which I saw potential in  :-\

I do have accounts in both. I first created in Poloniex but I do not understand the user interface. I don't know why, for me it is not user friendly. That's why I transfer to Bittrex. I really want the user interface of Bittrex. And I've heard there are cases that the accounts in Poloniex had been hacked. but now i use indodax to save my coin

As for me, I started with Poloniex, for me it was more convenient and understandable. There are many different coins, which gives more opportunities. But the service desk for them answers very long.
At Bittrex, it's harder for me to trade, but it's convenient to make a schedule and order book.

 Both sites safely give you to purchase tokens and move them to their wallets in an efficient manner. While Bittrex does hold the advantage of offering more coin options, there’s a good chance you’ll never even touch the majority of these exclusively offered trading pairs. But, if research is important to you, Bittrex will be the better choice for you, as i suppose.

Both are good for trading. But I love bittrex. Because bittrex is friendly. Deposits and withdraw system is easy and fast. Also poloniex sometimes under DDOS attack.

For me Poloniex has better interface but Bittrex has more coins listed. And Poloniex policy regarding listing of coins is tougher than Bittrex one. It is more difficult to get listed on Poloniex.

It seems that the exchange site is getting complicated to login right ? but it is a great addition to security. but you know bittrex is currently implementing data verification first to start trading? who previously poloniex already do that? why must do data verification? would not it remove an anonymous nature? actually, I choose both bittrex and poloniex for my daily trade but somehow I prefer with bittrex because in bittrex, the coins are really much and we can choose the coins which are not available in poloniex. besides that, I think the volume in bittrex is bigger than poloniex and I think many traders are moving from poloniex to bittrex and it makes the volume in poloniex reducing.

Poloniex has most listed coin that are comprehensive. Poloniex also boast of good trade and liquidity and more trading tools than bittrex. Bittrex on the other hand is simple and easy to use. You also get to enjoy security with bittrex.

Bittrex better customer service if you are having technicalities or difficulties in your withdrawals they easily response to your concerns customer assistance is being handled well which is why most people at ease in trading their bitcoins here. Which is why this recommendable also when I see there feedback I see lot of positive comments coming from their investors which is why this is recommendable.

For me i would trade bittrex because it has more volume and the more volume it's much easier and much profitable than trading in poloniex that is not that volatile.

to be honest for now I prefer to trade in bittrex rather than trading in poloniex because I see bittrex is better now than poloniex, it seems poloniex is not too much trading there, so you better trade in place that has a very trading volume high than trading in a market that does not have a high volume.

One of the thing I love the most about them is that they exchange dozens of different altcoins, not just the typical BTC and ETH, but many new, up and coming cryptos such as Litecoin, Ripple, Dash and one of my personal favorites GOLEM.

For me, the Bittrex exchange is more convenient. Works well customer support, user-friendly interface, many trading pairs. I see too often negative reviews about the Poloniex exchange.

Actually i have a lot of choices in trading my coins, Because usually broker site who has higher coin volume and coin circulation are generates good value, As a trader i consider doing arbitrage method are good strategy to maximize profit.:)

Arcording to Consensus 2018, Bittrex and Poliniex trading volume are fake. I suggest you choose Huobi as your main trading market as the volume is organic

It is very clear that bitrex market has good transaction volume for daily trading, but personally I am more familiar with poloniex. margin trading is a favorite choice for getting double profit and when I feel lazy trading I use lending and vacationing.

Poloniex is older but I don't find it trustable. Bittrex seem to be more trustable to me. I ready many reporst about withdrawing problems happened in poloniex in the last years.

Hence, I think Bittrex is a better selection.

Care to expound your comment as to why you choose Bittrex over Poliniex? I heard a lot of horror stories about Poloniex withdrawal issues but I guess its more on the Altcoin side withdrawal not the Bitcoin side but nevertheless if Poloniex still wants to be in the game they need to improve specially on the customer service side and this is one of the reason why I use Bittrex more than Poloniex and even Binance.

There was the time when poloniex was one of the top crypto exchanges with the high volumes but the time never remains the same, poloniex is now not in top 50's because of high fee and low volume, I would suggest you to use bittrex because it's interface is very user friendly.

I like Bittrex over this floor is a large platform now based in the US, which is quite popular in the electronic money community of Vietnam. Founded in 2014, Bittrex regularly top three largest trading floors with a level of security and so far has never been hacker penetration.
