Title: Best Mining Settings for my Rigs
Post by: CrisCrypto on September 27, 2017, 01:15:49 PM
Dear Forum,
so I have bought some mining cards, back in april, and always ran them on the same settings, they made money and I was fine with it. So now after all the difficulty drops and so on I just wanted to ask what the best coin / setting for my cards would be right now.
I got running :
11 - 1060 6gb @22,5mh/s mining eth
1 - 1070 @30,5mh/s mining eth
2 - 1080ti @680sol/s mining zec
So I wanted to know if there are better options right now and if my hash rates are up to date or if i can improve them.
Ty chris

GTX 1060s can do 24.5 MH/s ETH easily considering GPUs have Samsung Memory. (Check with GPU-z) [If yes, -150/800 Core/Mem will get you there]
GTX 1070 is alright with 30.5 MH/s ETH but you'll be better off with other coins like Zcash Classic, Hush, etc. (Just search around)
GTX 1080ti can also hash around 750 Sol/s, but you might have to push power limits on them.

for ZCASH you need to overclock the core and underclock the memory, you will get 700+ sols easy with very economic power consumption.

What are your current core/memory OC values? You could easily squeeze another 1MH out of your 1070, not that it makes that much difference but as was mentioned with the 1060s you could likely get a good 20-25MH/s for your whole rig making some adjustments.
