Title: The irony of the north
Post by: Bellox on September 27, 2017, 06:44:23 PM
i have noticed that is only in Nigeria that the population of the North is more than the population of both the east and the south. In other countries people tend to stay more in the south, east and west. so what is the irony behind this? please i need someone to enlighten me on the mistery behind this    ?

Seems to me like most are in the south, close to the coast https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigeria#Demographics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigeria#Demographics)
However it makes sense for most of the demographics of a country to live in the North, if the geography and other factors benefit it, like in countries that have coasts on the North side, like Egypt https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egypt#Demographics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egypt#Demographics). It isn't a great mystery, people live usually close to the water as it helps with transportation.

I dont see any irony there, it only depends on the country. The factors are big cities, work places, climate and so on.
